11/02/2025: I had been missing for 45 years. I went there often and in the evening. We ate divinely. I returned with a large group of friends for a historic car gathering. Nothing has changed. Always excellent food. The service, given the over 100 people, was impeccable. I plan to return soon.

28/01/2025: Posto tranquillo ed accogliente, personale giovane ma attento. Il menù presenta il cinghiale come attrattiva ma i vari piatti che abbiamo preso, dai primi alla grigliata mista (tutti a base di cinghiale) non si particolarmente rilievo da farci dire wow...tra parentesi io ho preso la grigliata mista ma credo si siano sbagliati xké sono sicuro fosse maiale, ma non ho detto nulla in quanto era ben cotta e gustosa. Le quantità non sono abbandonati ed anzi i contorni li abbiamo trovati un po' scarsini. Un posto nella media tutto sommato, senza grandi pecche né particolari lodi.

02/06/2025: We had a reservation at 1:30 pm, we arrived on time and they made us wait standing for half an hour, however it was a holiday and a little wait was justifiable, but waiting really three hours since the first ones arrived at 4:00 pm and not even feasible with a child, among other things the first ones were cold, dry and tasteless. Really shameful also because the customers were all complaining and the rude and ill-mannered owner shouted at them, I think that such a negative review is really deserved both for the owner and all his indiscreet staff. We will never return. I strongly advise against it on holidays.

19/06/2025: What can I say... the first time you arrive it's a dive into the colors and flavors of the coast. A cuisine that at first glance seems simple, but in reality it is designed to give you unforgettable flavors. It feels like being in the sweet life... fantastic welcome, even the clothing of the staff and the owner are in keeping with the atmosphere you breathe. I arrived at sunset... I recommend it

28/05/2025: The hilltop location with sea view is truly splendid; the family and friendly welcome; the food... well, the meals are prepared with all the products from the garden and the farm and cooked really well by the owner, who really pampers her guests. The 4 stars for the rooms are just an incentive to fix some small, but really small, defects: a shower siphon that doesn't drain very well or the window that opens with difficulty. All things that can really be solved and that don't take anything away from the comfort of the rooms and the beauty of the structure... just small flaws that, if eliminated, would make the San Basilio even more splendid. I won't add photos because those you see on the site correspond to reality: very beautiful structure with greenery and lush plants... the scent of flowers and a breathtaking view

22/04/2025: Beautiful scenery, beautiful location, delicious food, booking fail! Positive: Very tasty food, decent value for money. The "family room" was generally very nice, and the host family was very friendly despite the language barrier, especially Lucia and Francesco. Negative: Booking through Expedia. The room that matched the photo description was only provided after two escalations. Apparently, Expedia books specific room numbers. The "great family room" with the large window is number 201! Obviously, only the two lower room categories can be booked through Expedia, but we were able to prove the opposite. A major, easily avoidable annoyance at check-in, which unfortunately somewhat spoiled our stay. It should become the highlight of our trip and felt a bit like fraud, because manager and/or Expedia lied during the booking/check-in process. The furnishings in the room ultimately seemed a bit sparse, but it still exudes a great charm. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking.

17/06/2025: An oasis of peace in the heart of Cilento. Structure immersed in nature, clean and welcoming rooms, excellent cuisine with local products. The managers are kind, always ready to recommend the best of the area. Perfect for those seeking relaxation, authenticity and beauty. We will return!

06/04/2025: it must have been the fault of the eighteenth in the other room but we had to wait MORE than an hour and forty minutes for veal fillets (which were also quite small but priced at €18) cooked differently than requested. good service, the waiters were visibly desolate and apologized for the long wait. value for money, questionable. From what I've been told the waits aren't usually that long but I can only judge what I've experienced. nice place.

01/06/2025: Un bar fantástico para parar a apertivi y disfrutar de la vista y el ambiente de Cetara. Gran servicio y precios razonables. Su menú de ginebra es fenomenal. Disfruté de su característico cóctel, el Cetara Garum Sour.
