I'd like to start by complimenting Mrs. Maria for the excellent cuisine. The beach is well-equipped and very friendly. The staff is incredibly friendly and approachable. Compliments to Silvia and Lella for the excellent breakfast. A 5-star beach!

Beautiful and exceptionally clean beach. We booked in advance and therefore only paid 21 euros for a front-row seat, which is a very reasonable price for 2 sunbeds and a parasol. There are changing cabins, showers, and toilets. They show signs of use but are clean. Large car park at the Lido, though without shaded spots. Sea free of algae and shallow for a very long distance, so safe for children. Very clear water. Quiet. Lifeguard present.

Rianata A' Vasulata

22/06/2026: Rianata stands for origanata, meaning pizza with tomato and oregano. The specialty, however, is the dough: passion, dough, natural yeast, and cooking method make it a one-of-a-kind product worth the trip. Vasulata refers to the street and the fact that it was once paved with flagstones, which were later replaced by asphalt. The restaurant's philosophy is to respect tradition, both in the quality of the products and the cooking method. Everything revolves around the oven, which stays in operation for a long time. I haven't tried the meat, but that seems to be very good, too. Reservations are not allowed. Those who arrive late get a bad night's sleep, either because there's no room, or because some dishes are sold out.
17/06/2026: Authentic food, the same as always, no gimmicks or modern displays... Delicious, simple dishes, Cilento-Campania cuisine served in a wood-fired oven. If you're in the area, you absolutely must try the family-run restaurant's specialties at least once.

02/06/2026: During my trip to Salerno, I discovered this delightful pastry shop just steps from the Duomo, and it was one of my fondest memories. A simple, authentic place with a family atmosphere, where you immediately feel at ease. I enjoyed a fragrant sfogliatella, a filled brioche, and an excellent coffee. Everything was fresh, carefully prepared, and had that authentic flavor reminiscent of tradition. You can sense their attention to quality and passion for their work. It's the ideal place for breakfast or a sweet treat while strolling through the historic center. If you find yourself in Salerno, I absolutely recommend stopping by.
