12/05/2026: We were in the off-season, so there was almost no one in the restaurant, but we specifically wanted a fish dinner, so we didn't go to the restaurant below or anywhere else. The waiter, who is probably also the owner, was very nice, direct, but not intrusive. He was well informed about the situation in Hungary and had a sense of humor. He served at a higher quality than we experienced in other restaurants. The food and service were both excellent, family atmosphere. After the appetizer, red mullet and perch. I don't usually take photos of the food, so I only have a photo of the appetizer. The recommended wine was also a perfect choice. I recommend the place.

12/05/2026: Bad experience. Booked with TheFork for 8:30 PM. Received a confirmation email. Showed up promptly at the restaurant, but surprise, it's closed! Next time, check before booking.

We chose the "land" menu, which turned out to be a hit: simple, yet well-prepared and tasty dishes. It's a shame we didn't have time to enjoy the tiramisu. It's a well-established favorite.

08/07/2026: We couldn't have chosen a better location for our wedding. We ate wonderfully at Villa Orchidea: every dish was carefully crafted, plentiful, and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests. The organization was simply fantastic. From the very beginning, the entire staff was professional, helpful, and always ready to accommodate our every request, allowing us to experience the day with peace of mind and without a care in the world. We felt truly pampered and supported throughout every stage of the event. They went above and beyond our expectations, going above and beyond the call of duty with kindness, attention, and so much passion. We sincerely thank the entire Villa Orchidea team, especially Sonia and Anna, for helping make our wedding an unforgettable day. We will always cherish the memory of your professionalism and affection. We recommend this venue to all couples seeking a perfect wedding.

23/03/2026: I'd been wanting to visit the Sinodo restaurant for a while. I took the opportunity to take a Sunday morning stroll through the Vallo della Lucania market and a stroll around the center. We chose the menu of the day: fusilli with Cilento ragù, pork loin stuffed with potatoes, and strawberries with cream. It cost €20 per person, excluding drinks and table service. Everything was excellent. Thank you for your kindness. The restaurant is new and well-kept, spotlessly clean, and the à la carte menu is reasonably priced. A great find. We'll be back...and I recommend it.

10/08/2026: We spent €39 for four people and were truly satisfied. The food was well-prepared, with generous portions and quality ingredients. Eating well at this price is now a rare and very pleasant surprise.

16/05/2026: Fantastic 3 nite stay at the property. Each aspect of the service is impeccable - front staff was friendly and knowledgeable, housekeeping was immaculate, while the breakfast was also excellent. The true test of a hotel's service standard is not when things are running smoothly, but when things go wrong beyond their control, and it is here the staff shined. For eg, even though the lift was under maintenance for all 3 nites, the staff were super helpful with bringing our luggage up and down. The weather while we were in positano wasnt great so the harbour was closed but our front staff was super diligent in keeping us updated in the morning and helping us plan alternatives on where to go and things to do.

10/05/2026: The pizza is good; I particularly enjoyed the dough, but I found all the ingredients to be good. I can confirm that the place is welcoming, small, and not chaotic. The rustic stone interior is lovely, but honestly, we suffered a bit from the heat, as it wasn't very well-ventilated. The outdoor space is excellent, but a few small improvements could be made, except for the plastic tables. It could use a bit of sprucing up, especially to take advantage of its location on the main street, which is another plus, as it's centrally located and convenient for a post-meal stroll. The service was fairly quick and friendly, with paper napkins and minimal formalities, and that's fine by me. The wobbly table was a bit of a letdown... Prices were fair... I'd gladly return.

04/02/2026: We went with a group of friends for an event in the town of I Fucanoli and we didn't eat inside because that evening there was also a table outside with traditional dishes. We had a good time and we made an appointment with the same group to come back and taste the specialities of the internal restaurant.

29/06/2026: It was my first time there and it will also be my last.... very expensive, poor quality stuff, empty plate.... Marionettes, I'll give you some good publicity.... Goodbye
