25/05/2025: We waited 2 hours to be served, the guy who I think is the owner asked us for 7 euros more on the bill and then changed his mind when we pointed it out to him and gave us back only 3 euros. The sandwich arrived after three hours with 50 grams of hamburger and with really poor quality products. The only good thing were the fries. The staff is unpleasant and the place is grotesque.

24/05/2025: never order from this kind of "sandwich shop" if it can be defined as such, they answer the phone with absurd arrogance not even to apologize or to be kind since my order never arrived .... ordered on just eat result delivered but I have not received a damn thing, I can't even get in touch with just eat customer service to get my money back from these scammers who don't want to know anything.

18/06/2025: Dinner this evening. We arrived late from Naples with the Circumvesuviana and this was the first pizzeria we found going down the street. Excellent pizza and a very nice location with its yellow chairs. The service was kind, they turned off the nearest air conditioner for us, to avoid the cold on us. I ate the parmigiana scomposta and my husband a nerano. They were both good. Compliments.

08/07/2025: We paid €20 per person for just 3 hours of access.First surprise was that they asked for €9 for umbrella 😂 Then we were told the beach would close at 7:00 PM, yet the showers were shut off at 6:30 PM without any prior notice. The only sign mentioned that hot water would be turned off — however, cold water was also unavailable. When we informed the staff about this issue, they showed no concern and didn’t respond at all. For the price paid, this level of service and communication is unacceptable.

13/07/2025: Hi! My husband and I went to this small but very welcoming restaurant today. We ate wonderfully, and above all, deliciously, and everything was fresh. The lasagna alla napoletana and the paccheri with scampi were spectacular, followed by the fantastic fritto misto and desserts, and we can't even begin to get started. Everything was fresh and delicious. We'll definitely have to make a quick trip to Naples in September. We'll definitely stop by.

11/05/2025: Sono tornata in questa trattoria dopo alcuni anni, fidandomi del bellissimo ricordo che avevo dal 2019. Purtroppo, l’esperienza recente è stata tutt’altra cosa. Appena seduti, ci viene comunicato che non ci sono le cozze — peccato che non fosse specificato da nessuna parte. Eravamo tornati proprio con il desiderio di riassaporarle, ricordando quanto fossero buone. Ordiniamo altro e, al momento del servizio, accade l’imprevisto: il cameriere sbilancia il piatto con il polpo e una colata d’olio finisce sui jeans del mio fidanzato. Si scusa, corre a prendere uno spray smacchiatore, ma purtroppo la macchia resta. Serata rovinata con un pantalone macchiato addosso, di sabato sera. Sono cose che possono capitare, certo. Ma quello che non trovo accettabile è ritrovarmi un conto da 51,98€ con il 13% di servizio incluso. Diciamolo francamente: chiedere il servizio pieno quando hai creato un disagio evidente al cliente è poco elegante. Bastava un gesto semplice, come arrotondare il conto a 50€: un piccolo segnale di attenzione che avrebbe fatto la differenza. Infine, il "polpo al sugo piccante" non era né piccante né in sugo: solo un polpo galleggiante in un brodo d'olio. Non ho fatto la foto, ma credetemi: l’aspetto era già tutto un programma. Con grande dispiacere, cancello questa trattoria dalle mie tappe fisse a Napoli.

08/07/2025: Terrible service, the waiters with such long faces were very unwilling to provide service. A cat was walking around the restaurant (if anyone is allergic to cats or Pelosi the Cat, please bear this in mind) and another cat was paying at an ATM. Another cat was rude and angry and asked, "No cash?" There was a large sign saying Visa is accepted. The poor machine had no connection. It's a shame, considering the location is right across from Pompeii. The service is terrible. I regret it. If I could take away stars, I wouldn't give it any.

04/07/2025: We got reeled in by our organized tour and already by the name I thought this was going to be a trap. The pizza is good. Make sure you go for the pizza. We got gnocchi and a couple of desserts that were average. Service was a little rude and asking for cash, when we were not given any heads up that we needed to pay like that. They accepted the card but it wasn't a nice conversation. 17$ for main, drink and dessert is a good rate.

20/05/2025: Accueil à revoir et aucun effort pour comprendre. Les plats arrivent avec 10 min d'intervalle donc pour manger ensemble cela est un peu compliqué. De plus, pas beaucoup de saveur, les langoustines a peine cuite, le thon fade et les plats relativement gras. Sans parler du café servi dans un gobelet en plastique, que dire de plus. Et au moment de partir très difficile de dire au revoir. A fuir, vraiment déçu

28/06/2025: My stay at this hotel was quite negative. The garage is very narrow: with a normal-sized car, it's almost impossible to maneuver without hitting it when entering or exiting, which is already a source of discomfort from the very first moment. The room was dirty, with spiders in the beds and a general feeling of neglect. The pillows were extremely hard, like bricks, and neither the sheets nor the towels were changed during the entire stay, which is unacceptable. The walk-in shower didn't drain properly, causing water to accumulate every time it was used. Added to this is the fact that the hotel is next to a busy road, which makes it quite noisy, especially at night. The breakfast was very sparse, with very little variety and no replenishment of what was used. The only redeeming feature was the reception staff, who were very friendly and willing to help at all times. However, the overall quality of the accommodation leaves much to be desired, and I wouldn't repeat the experience.

30/04/2025: We were really disappointed, the shower didn't close and insects came out everywhere, the bed was broken in the middle, the power sockets didn't work and a light bulb was about to catch fire. Poor!

11/03/2025: I would like to point out that for some strange reason the review was published about two years later. We went to Hortus for a quick lunch yesterday. The welcome is top notch, they are all friendly and nice, as well as professional, but what went over the top is the quality and flavor of the food: as in an ancient Neapolitan tavern, you can find almost forgotten flavours, excellent Campania products, both produced and from the land, and dishes prepared in an impeccable way. In addition to what you can see in the photo, we tasted the "broccoli and sausage" pasta (I don't remember the name they gave it)... sublime.

17/07/2025: Really bad food and scamming tourists. I honestly have no problem paying a bit extra as a tourist or so, but being scammed leaves such a sad and bad feeling. I was hoping for a beautiful evening — instead, I waited over 50 minutes for a simple salad, which was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. I think they used the corn water as dressing and the tomatoes had wrinkles and were almost dry. Then I had to wait another 15 minutes just to pay, only to realize they told me (in Italian, and in a really rude way) to pay, shoving the card reader in front of me without telling me the amount, only when my card reached the reader I could see the amount. After this reeeally long evening, I just paid — only to then be handed the receipt, where I saw they’d charged me for one of their most expensive pizzas. I was so shocked and embarrassed that I just shook my head, and she started saying something in Italian, with a defensive expression, as if she knew exactly what had happened.

14/07/2025: Get away from the tourist spots of Ischia and enjoy a pizza like we've never had 🤩. And the usual warm welcome of southern Italy! We'll be back soon!!

09/07/2025: Amazing service, the pizzaria vibe was on point, and the pizza makers were very open for a conversation. The pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had. 10/10 experience

17/06/2025: La stella va alla qualità del cibo che era buona Orrendo. Ci siamo stati Domenica per la prima volta e nn ci andremo mai più e spero che tu che stai leggendo accetti il mio consiglio. Assurdo ci siamo seduti alle 13,50 erano le 15,30 avevamo mangiato solo l antipasto. La pasta ci ha messo una quarantina di minuti ad essere saltata 🙄. Abbandonati ad un tavolo,ogni cosa doveva alzarsi mio marito per farsi notare. Se nn sapete gestire tante persone in periodi particolari nn accettate le prenotazioni e soprattutto togliete qualche tavolo perché alla fine della serata vi abboffate solo voi. Eravamo 5 persone ma per i camerieri forse 4 dato che sia l antipasto che il primo ne sono arrivati 4. Il quinto piatto è arrivato dopo aver richiamato il cameriere ed era anche sbagliato Mi dispiace solo di nn aver parlato con il responsabile ma essermela presa con i camerieri. Abbiamo mangiato 2 insalate di polipo 2 prosciutto e mozzarella 1 alici fritte Bruschette Zeppoline di mare 1 acqua minerale 2 coca-cola 2 genovese 1 gnocchetti 1 pacchero ai frutti di mare 128,50 Ci hanno fatto lo sconto e pagato 120. Si mangia bene ma il resto nn compensa .... Spero che altre persone nn rovinano tutto ciò e che il proprietario cambi politica
