18/05/2025: A pleasant day among nature, cordiality and simplicity We went to this restaurant to spend a day in the company of friends and, overall, the experience was more than positive. The quality-price ratio seemed right to us: we chose the menu for 25 euros per person for adults (15 euros for children), with drinks not included. A peculiarity is that they leave all the empty bottles on the table, to then count them at the end of the meal and include them in the final bill - so it is useful to keep this in mind. The staff is extremely kind, especially the waitresses: helpful, polite and always smiling. Sincere compliments to them. The location is nice and well-kept, surrounded by greenery, with many animals that make the experience more pleasant, especially for those - like me - who love nature. The aquariums, turtles and other animals in the garden are very beautiful. Unfortunately I didn't get to see the parrots, the area was closed on both occasions I went out to look for them, but I was told that at other times there was someone to accompany the customers. Never mind, it will be for next time. The food reflects what you can expect from a fixed-price menu: nothing exceptional, but more than enough to enjoy a quiet lunch without too many pretensions. It's definitely not a place I would recommend for a gourmet or refined occasion, but perfect for spending time in company in an informal and relaxed environment. Finally, a curious detail: to pay the bill you have to queue and then enter an office, and at the desk you find yourself discussing the bill with who I believe is the owner, so not at the classic cash register, almost as if you were about to close a ceremonial deal! We simply paid what was due, without asking for discounts, and the comparison of how much we consumed was clear and precise, a sign of correctness and attention on the part of the staff. In short, I recommend it to those looking for a carefree day, in contact with nature and in good company, without spending too much.

È il nostro posto preferito dove si coniuga ottimo cibo in un’atmosfera magica, Luca il proprietario e tutto lo staff sono attenti e gentili con tutti i clienti ti coccolano con la loro squisita cucina e con la massima dedizione. Consiglio tutti questa esperienza unica !!!

07/06/2025: The octopus salad with potatoes was boring. The potatoes were overcooked, the salad within was from the supermarket, the octopus fresh but the entire meal was unambiguous prepared and not tasteful. The mixed salad was so boring too. It looked and tasted like something from a bad school kitchen. It came without vinaigrette, the fennels were cut out in big chunks, tomatoes without taste and again the salad within was from the supermarket. The vinegar at the table was too sweet and within a plastic bottle - guess from where. We weren’t served bread - and not even to the salad - only when I asked for it. One slide was even dry.

07/06/2025: Never order the Platter for 2 people!!!!! We discovered this restaurant by chance about ten days ago, we arrived around 10.30pm and ordered some meat. We were very satisfied and this evening we decided to return. I will start by saying that the meat is very good but I gave it 1 star because I felt like I was being taken for a ride. We ordered a platter of cold cuts and cheeses for 2 (it was written right on the menu that it is a minimum for 2 people) and we received this mini... very small platter with 2 slices of salami, another 2 of salami and a slice and a half of cheese... All accompanied by some bacon put in a bow to add volume. Obviously I politely asked if that was it and the waiter replied that something else was coming, ok I was heartened... "something else" actually arrived, that is, a bowl of olives. The owner approached and asked if everything was ok and very politely I explained that I was a little taken aback by this famous platter. The owner, always with great politeness, tells me that he had noticed and that in the kitchen they had made a mistake and that he had already adjusted the price. Ergo... 2 slices of salami and a half of cheese cost me 18 euros instead of 24... I say... But don't say anything at all. If you noticed the mess made in the kitchen (because it wasn't a mistake but a mess made on purpose) either you send me something else without saying anything or you act like a gentleman and you don't even charge for these 4 slices of salami... I'm a shopkeeper too and I would never have behaved in this way. Tonight you may have earned an extra 18 euros, but you have certainly lost 2 customers!

06/07/2025: Yesterday we went there price 2 adults and 1 child of 11 years including parking in the sun! €47 then very hot water, cloudy and my daughter and other people have red spots on the pads of their feet and hands!!! Many have complained WE WILL NEVER COME AGAIN

28/11/2024: Justo antes de salir en nuestro viaje a Italia tenía una cita con el dentista. Mi dentista mencionó que había estado en Italia y confesó que aunque le encantaba la comida, después de una semana más o menos tenía un antojo de hamburguesas McDonalds y terminó recibiendo una. Debe haber estado en mi mente en nuestro último día completo en Sorrento. Pasamos la mañana haciendo turismo y compras de recuerdos y finalmente encontramos el camino de regreso al Corso Italia en busca de un lugar para almorzar. No faltan los sitios en Sorrento para comer, especialmente a lo largo del Corso Italia, pero por alguna razón terminamos yendo a un lugar que habíamos visto antes después de bajar del autobús desde Meta. Bar Meeting es un pequeño restaurante en el Corso Italia justo al oeste de la Piazza Angelina Lauro. Es obvio por su apariencia y menú que no es un lugar que sirve cocina local ni uno para cenar. Es un lugar simple y bastante barato para agarrar “cocina americana” y orientado al turista, probablemente aquellos como yo o nuestro dentista que sus paletas se sienten nostálgicos de casa. Inicialmente estábamos un poco postergados, ya que nuestro saludador y camarero estaba estornudando y tosiendo y probablemente bajando con algo. Él era lo suficientemente educado como para girar la cabeza y toser en la manga, sin embargo, y había un insecto dando vueltas y yo ya había tenido. Además, tenía mucha hambre y los dos necesitábamos descansar las piernas, así que tomamos asiento. Pedí una hamburguesa básica con papas fritas y mi esposa optó por dedos de pollo con una cerveza y agua para lavarlo. Todo fue entregado bastante rápido. Pensemos que éramos los únicos clientes inicialmente. Otro grupo entró tras nosotros y agarró una mesa cercana. Después de ellos, un solo turista obvio también entró y preguntó cómo estaba nuestra comida antes de agarrar una mesa y un menú. Supongo que mi gruñido y mi guiño fueron tomados como un sí universal. El almuerzo no fue nada de lo que escribir a casa, y definitivamente no estará descifrando las diez mejores experiencias culinarias italianas. Tenga en cuenta que sirvió a su propósito y nos llenó. El precio era bastante razonable también, especialmente para un lugar turístico en Sorrento. Total para nosotros dos era de unos 25 euros ($ 37. 13 Cdn.) Lo pagué con tarjeta de crédito y el propietario / gerente parecía un poco molesto porque vi toda la transacción, especialmente cuando el grifo no funcionaba la primera vez. Comprobé mi banco más tarde en línea y no hubo doble facturación u otros problemas. Almuerzo terminado, el estómago lleno, y las piernas descansadas salimos de nuevo a las calles de Sorrento para hacer un poco más de compras.

13/05/2025: Il posto peggiore dove sono mai capitato, descrivere l’esperienza avuta in questo locale può essere riassunto in una parola, ALLUCINANTE . Prezzi assurdi , servizio da mensa. Eravamo in 15 persone per passare una domenica di festa si è trasformata in un vero incubo, ostaggi per 3 ore senza aver mangiato praticamente nulla . Dopo l’ennesima richiesta di spiegazioni dei tempi di attesa e dopo quasi 3 ore dall’ antipasto ( frittura e 3 piattino di insalata di mare composta da un piatto di olio con seppie una cozza è un gamberetto per la Modica cifra di 18€ il prezzo è per il singolo piattino di insalata) alle 16:00 dopo aver chiesto l’ennesima volta di servire il primo ci comunica il responsabile di sala una persona arrogante e incapace , che non riescono a servirci prima di 40 minuti . Quindi 3:40 dal misero è cattivo antipasto ! . Chiediamo il conto che ci viene subito servito senza neanche scusarsi .Grazie per aver rovinato la giornata di festa a 4 famiglie con bambini e persone anziane . NON ANDATE DA DONNA GIULIA LA RISTORAZIONE E ALTRA COSA . SCANDALOSI !!!! NON MERITANO DI ESSERE CHIAMATI RISTORANTE . UNA VERGOGNA
