25/08/2025: I took a few days to write this review because I was on vacation and didn't want to ruin my life. However, given how ripped off I felt, I had to do it. I'll start with the negatives because, in my opinion, they're extremely serious. Be absolutely careful with the appetizers. Obviously, the problem isn't just the price; on the menu, it says "raw appetizer" (40 euros). Without specifying what the menu includes, he immediately jumped into recommending the raw appetizer verbally. I asked the simple question, "Is it advisable to split the appetizer between two people?" The answer was, "Of course." I should start by saying that I never trust people when they speak verbally and I always prefer to order what I see on the menu. But I trusted him and asked what the APPETIZER included. From what he told me (3 oysters, 2 prime red prawns, 1 langoustine, 2 cockles, 2 clams, 1 sea bream tartare), basically, in the dish, he brought me one langoustine, one cockle, and 4 shrimp, 4 small ones of choice, in addition to what I wrote above. Definitely a surcharge. I went to pay for the appetizer, it cost me 80 euros because he increased the price... well, 1) who asked you that? 2) I would have understood an increase if you wanted, but damn, you made me pay for an appetizer extra for those two stupid additions? At this point, I would have ordered 2 appetizers. Well, don't trust him when he starts talking, only order the entrees and what you see on the menu. People who do everything verbally always tend to cheat, and in fact, I was practically robbed. Luckily, money isn't an issue for me, and for 40 euros I didn't want to ruin my vacation, but honestly, it could be really annoying. As for the food, I have nothing to complain about, and I even told him after complaining. But paying €152 without wine for an appetizer and two entrees in a trattoria is truly embarrassing for a restaurant with no awards, no facilities, no excellent service, just quality food. At that price, you're truly getting a Michelin-starred experience, and I'm not kidding. I feel sorry for the staff, who are truly good and kind, but I was really upset that I ordered one appetizer and paid for two. Oh, and of course, I want to mention positively that they are very attentive and knowledgeable about gluten-free food. I personally would go back for the quality of the food and the staff, but as soon as he starts talking at a rapid pace during the ordering process, stop him immediately and make things very clear from the beginning, otherwise you'll find yourself with some strange surprises at the end of the bill, to say the least.

02/07/2025: What can I say about Villa Althea, except that it is close to perfection 😍 Wonderful location, refined, a surreal landscape, cared for in every little detail. Our wedding was extraordinary, the guests still contact us for compliments, on the spot, the food (of excellent quality and variety), the impeccable organization, the kind and attentive staff, etc. The owners are extraordinary people ❤️ We could not have hoped for a better wedding, thank you ❤️

27/06/2025: After visiting so many locations in search of the perfect place for our wedding, we arrived at Villa Althea and something different happened: I was moved. For the first time I felt, deeply, that it was the right place. The only place where I wanted to get married. From our first meeting we were welcomed by Paola, a kind and helpful professional who guided us with care and attention, making us feel at home right away. But it was with Lara that the magic really began. She organized every detail with impeccable elegance and precision. She was our fixed point, the organizational heart of the day, allowing me to live every moment without stress, with the serenity of knowing that everything was in the best hands we could wish for. Villa Althea is an enchanting place, full of charm and atmosphere. Every corner transmits beauty, warmth and care. A true dream corner. And then... the food! Exquisite, refined, abundant, much appreciated by all our guests. Lara welcomed all our requests with a smile, making everything we had imagined possible. But what struck us most was the delicacy and attention given to our guests: they felt pampered from the first to the last moment and even today we receive compliments for that special day. Villa Althea is not only a dream location but a memory that we will carry in our hearts forever. Thank you so much.

03/08/2025: I knew Lorenzo Dei Medici, known as the Magnificent, for historical reminiscences. But this evening I had the pleasure of discovering the Magnifico in Teverola, a place you don't know how to define because upon entering you see so many things on the walls that seem like a jumble of random things. Then the owner's personality welcomes you and you realize that everything reflects his eclectic personality and every shape becomes a story. He smiles at you. He welcomes you as if you were an old friend. You wait but he offers you an aperitif, a little gift with courtesy and kindness. The food is varied and excellent. In short, it is an experience that leaves its mark. You enter a unique place and I, along with my daughter, thank from the bottom of my heart the person we immediately fell in love with, the owner. We will see each other again for a new experience.

30/06/2025: What can I say, the name Magnifico is perfect, you eat really well, for meat lovers and not only, it is the ideal place. For the order we relied on Dino, the owner, a true gentleman, an exquisite, ironic person, with a unique sympathy, he recommended a mix that was nothing short of spectacular, a delight, not only for the palate but also for the eyes, for how it was presented. A cutting board full of vegetable side dishes and chips were the background, accompanied separately by a velvety ricotta and a delicious cheese sauce, enriched with a smoky note and honey. The meat, in the center, was sublime, appetizing, succulent, cooked to perfection, despite there being various and abundant different cuts selected. A real delicacy! At the end of the dinner, you couldn't miss the tour inside the restaurant where you are catapulted into the past, a parallel world, that you know you have lived and that you find through myriads of souvenirs, a multitude of objects, not thrown there randomly but, carefully placed in order to recreate real cinematic scenes. 60s/70s/80s. Photos, writings, puppets of famous people, cartoons, vinyl records and much more, a real museum with the aim of evoking the atmosphere and spirit of those decades, not to be missed. In short, Il Magnifico is worth discovering, for the culinary art that it puts into its dishes and for the experience that will leave you with a beautiful memory and certainly amazed. 😊

13/07/2025: A great discovery Excellent meat, perfectly cooked. The only downside is purely personal: I would have preferred flake salt instead of coarse salt. Perfect service, greeted by a very sweet and polite young man, but above all, extremely knowledgeable, with rare qualities. Very nice atmosphere, I would declutter the cash register area a bit. Amazing, thanks for the top-notch lunch.

04/05/2025: A familiar, good quality product, freshly made in front of customers and family-run. It is a perfect place if you are passing through Caserta and looking for a quick, local meal, especially if in a hurry or to grab on the fly. I leave four stars on food and environment mainly for two reasons: the place is very small and with groups of many people it can be difficult to sit without being cramped and, unfortunately, the fried pizza I got had some cooking defects and was crunchier than I would expect. Despite this, I think it is an excellent product and I would recommend giving it a try based also on what was said previously.

19/06/2025: Ho mangiato una pizza squisitissima ...impasto leggerissimo e io che di solito faccio fatica a digerirle,questa era soffice e gustosa ...impasto morbido cotta al punto giusto ....ho scelto la sua pizza speciale e che dire gli ingredienti si sposano benissimo insieme...grazie ci rivedremo sicuramente presto

27/08/2025: As we drove north from Naples, thinking we'd just eaten the best pizzas in the world, we were proven wrong. The pizzas were incredibly light and fluffy, yet wafer-thin in the middle. The toppings were a perfect blend of innovative and traditional. You could tell the pizza master had perfected his life's work and lived for his ideas. On top of that, the service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the value for money was incomparable. An experience that's absolutely worth the detour from the highway. Thank you so much!!

10/08/2025: Dopo aver pagato l asporto chiedo gentilmente se ci potevamo accomodare (pagando coperto e tutto) e mi dicono di prenotare sull app. Vado sul app e le disponibilità dei tavoli vanno dalle 48h successive in poi (premetto che il locale era Vuoto) . Alche davanti a me entra una coppia che chiede di sedersi per mangiare e che non avevano prenotato E LI FANNO ACCOMODARE. TUTTO DAVANTI AI MIEI OCCHI. cordialità zero. Tatto zero. Subito dopo entrano delle persone senza prenotazione e li fanno accomodare DAVANTI A NOI. allego scontrino come certificazione dell’acquisto

Every time I've been there, I've found the same excellent quality, carefully prepared dishes, and impeccable service. The pizza is among the best I've ever eaten: light, easy to digest, and made with top-quality ingredients, from classic to gourmet (the Pistacchiona and Nerano are unmissable). The seafood and meat dishes are also extraordinary: fresh, plentiful, and expertly cooked. The staff is always friendly, quick, and attentive, creating a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The quality-price ratio is truly unbeatable: for the variety and deliciousness of the dishes, it's hard to find anything comparable in the area. A place that has become a true must-try: whether it's Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday night, I already know that at Lia & Giò I'll eat very well and leave feeling more than satisfied. 👏🍕🥂 Congratulations to the entire staff: you made every dinner an experience to remember!

For those with gluten and lactose intolerances, this pizzeria is the perfect place to enjoy a meal with complete peace of mind, thanks to its separate oven, far from those used for gluten.

13/07/2025: Once again, Chef Enzo pampered us with his traditional cuisine, representing the pinnacle of Campanian gastronomy. The courteous and attentive service showcases the meticulous work of the chef's team. "Il Soffio" is undoubtedly one of the finest culinary establishments in the entire Caserta province. A heartfelt thank you to the chef and all the staff.
