18/04/2026: Everything we ate was delicious, but we found the price a bit high (especially considering the quality-to-price ratio in the area). In any case, the staff was very professional and friendly, and the food was sophisticated and exquisitely flavorful. They also had a very good wine selection.

29/03/2026: A warm welcome. A Michelin-starred atmosphere. A fine wine list with some truly excellent selections. We let ourselves be guided by the sommelier, who recommended a very good local wine. The food was good, particularly the fresh raw scampi. The presentation could be more refined, with a greater emphasis on the quality of the ingredients.

03/01/2026: As soon as we entered, the restaurant was partially lit, giving the impression of being almost closed. At the register, a tragicomic scene: the owner was using his phone flashlight to light the way he was looking. It was enough to ask, "Where are we, in a cellar?" There was no heating, with an outdoor mushroom placed in the middle of the room as if it were normal. The owner was everything: waiter, cook, cashier, and probably even stockroom staff. Now, goodwill is to be appreciated, but here we are going beyond: total improvisation. There is no menu. The "choice" was between: spaghetti with tomato sauce (or with vegetables) ravioli with "lemon and shrimp" We ordered 3 spaghetti and 2 ravioli. The ravioli? Nothing lemon: they were a cream bomb. Oh, lemon, not even a postcard-perfect one. The owner, perhaps even nice out of context, was unpresentable while cooking: scarf, hat, jacket, pants falling down, and he was constantly pulling them up in front of the customers. An undignified, not to mention embarrassing, scene. The final blow? The price: 90 euros for this experience. Ninety euros. Ninety. A place with a big name but which, unfortunately, represents only poverty, and not even a trace of nobility. Not recommended. Stay home, it's better.

01/01/2026: How fortunate we were to dine at this restaurant on New Year's Eve. Thank you to the entire team who allowed us to enjoy the seafood menu and for creating a magnificent meat menu for two. Thank you to the kitchen for introducing us to original flavors. Thank you to the waiters and waitresses who treated us to an exceptional evening with kindness and professionalism. Thank you for the party favors and fireworks. Let's start 2026 off on a high note.

18/12/2025: We ordered the five-course tasting menu. The starters were endive with small pieces of oily fish and vinegar. The bitterness and acidity were perfectly balanced, resulting in a dish that tasted of nothing. Another trompe l'oeil, an immaculate white morsel that tasted of charcoal, and finally, hummus and a cracker that cleansed our mouths of the sooty taste with something I couldn't identify, something very neutral. I thought it was a welcome joke. After the starters came bread with a somewhat hard crust and another magical ingredient, house butter, which meant it tasted of nothing. Except for the completely flat charcoal. We moved on to the main courses. Lamb tartare—a bad start, with absolutely nothing, not even salt, a festival of neutral flavors, I thought. A dollop of mustard on the plate, which I desperately tried to grab, but it was barely a stain. Now for rice, with a fish fumet, they said, again completely tasteless, but this dish had a trick up its sleeve: a generous dose of dried tuna powder sprinkled over the rice. Rice and tuna, a sin. Bad. After that came pieces of some indescribable fish on a butter and pine nut sauce—lots of pine nuts. Very bad. At this point, I was fed up and wanted to leave. Next, a bite of something neither sweet nor savory with a lemon flavor…it must be to cleanse the palate and prepare for a spectacular dessert, I thought. The dessert brought us back to square one: a quenelle that tasted of nothing, not even sweet, on a small piece of puff pastry that was rather hard, like bread crust. Final note: it was a bit warm in the dining room, and the wine was at room temperature. Seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I suppose we were just unlucky, but what I'm describing is what they put on the table. I'm giving it five stars so the chef can see that I, too, can be sarcastic, to put it politely.

14/04/2026: WHAT THE HECK! There's no need to tell you, you have to go. The pizza is perfect! Thanks Vito and Maurizio. It's been a must-stop on my itinerary for years. Never disappointed! I go in enthusiastic, I leave happy.

28/03/2026: Pizzeria full of fanatics, they have no respect for orders placed from home. An order through Delivero with a delivery time scheduled for 9:10 PM (never arrived). It was 11:15 PM and they still hadn't prepared the pizzas. The worst part was that they even justified themselves and blamed the delivery service. I then spoke on the phone several times with the Delivero delivery service driver, who had been there for 1 hour and 20 minutes as indicated by the app. She told me that the pizzeria told her the wait time was 20 minutes each time because they had people at the tables, and we at home have to starve?! All this for 2 pizzas and a Coke. Obviously, I called Delivero services and wanted to cancel the order. The thing that bothers me most is that they treated the delivery driver like a piece of cake. After an hour of waiting, he didn't even earn a delivery fee. It's all the restaurant's fault. Shame on you, you're hurting customers and delivery service drivers. Never order anything.

16/03/2026: I visited Pietro Crescenzo's Trattoria in Melito Irpino and I must say it was a wonderful, very authentic experience. Here, you can truly experience the atmosphere of a true trattoria, with home-cooked food and traditional Irpinia flavors. We had an appetizer for two and a minestra maritata, simple dishes but truly well-made, with ingredients that taste of home and the local area. The house wine, without a label, paired perfectly with the food. The total bill was €75; probably the only downside is that there's no menu with prices, so it's a bit of a guessing game. That said, for those looking for traditional, authentic, and unfussy cuisine, it's definitely a place worth trying.

30/03/2026: Fabulous! The food is simply outstanding – fresh, authentic, and incredibly delicious. Add to that a wonderfully welcoming, family-like atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. It's also nice that German is spoken. We'll definitely be back!
