22/03/2026: A terrifying experience... we booked a table for 20 people and were seated in a room all to ourselves. A central fireplace spewed smoke after a few minutes, making the area unbreathable. The scorching heat forced the cold air conditioning to be turned on, along with a fan to remove the smoke, which was starting to make everyone's eyes water. The service was confusing: our choice of meat (between €170 and €150/kg) arrived cold, not on hot stone as we'd been told. We complained about the lack of side dishes, which didn't arrive with the meat, so we declined. The price was exorbitant: €100 per person. An experience we won't repeat. You can find much, much better for much less.

27/02/2026: Amazing place on the hill! Super-pretty location and cuts of meat that are hard to find all at the same time in major city restaurants... a fantastic surprise!!! Highly recommended!!

07/04/2026: We were approached on the street and asked if we wanted to eat there. The restaurant made a good impression. Very bright and clean. We ordered the appetizer platter for €15. We were a bit disappointed, as it only contained two slices of pork and four slices of salami. The spaghetti Bolognese was nothing special, and the lasagna didn't have any particular flavor for me. It was okay, but we wouldn't come back.

06/04/2026: Even though we were only two persons, we ordered two things, a pizza and a pasta. But we did not get our food at the same time, we had to share the pizza before we even got the pasta. He explained that the reason why we cant get the food at the same time is that the pizza comes from another place.. But the pizza is great!!! 5 out of 5! Maby we were unlucky, but still was disappointed by the fact, that we wanna eat together.

23/03/2026: I went to this restaurant purely on instinct and was pleasantly satisfied. The place was welcoming and warm, and even though it was full with all the tables at full capacity, there was no confusion or disorganization; in short, there was a pleasant atmosphere. The management is family-run. The owner is kind and friendly, never intrusive. The staff is very professional and helpful, and the service is effective and efficient. Waiting times may seem a bit long, but they are justified if you want to enjoy good food prepared on the spot. The menu reflects the seasonality of the products. The appetizers served were excellently prepared: the soft potato with porcini mushrooms, the stuffed cabbage roll, turnips and potatoes, the purple eggplant and ricotta cannoli, and the platter were appreciated for the freshness and authenticity of the products, but also for the mastery in their preparation. The first courses were exceptional: authentic and harmoniously combined flavors: it is difficult for me to assign the podium for the best dish between rigatoni with broad beans, the dish of the day, the fettuccelle with mountain lard, and the Genovese, a tie is a must. The Florentine steak is excellent, believe me, it is worth it. The side dishes are delicious. I also had the peasant-style broccoli with potatoes cooked under the ashes, and the peppers with chestnut honey and olives were exceptional. The classic desserts were delicious, respecting tradition without any tampering and with the latest in creativity, and expertly prepared: from pastiera to tiramisu, from cantuccini with Vin Santo to cheesecake with local cheese and strawberries. The icing on the cake was the moka pot coffee served at the table. We will return to repeat this excellent experience. Highly recommended.

08/12/2025: Good, plentiful food. The only downside is the salt packets instead of salt shakers. I'm not sure if I should specify next time I want a salt shaker or if you don't serve one at all. In any case, I repeat, the products are high-quality and the dishes are well-prepared.

30/11/2025: I stayed in this paradise for a weekend for a full immersion course. I was served and pampered, both with the food and the hospitality. Domenico and Arturo made us feel at home. The food is sublime, a mix of grandmother's southern dishes and the innovation of a talented chef. They produce wine, honey, and jams. The bread is delicious! An experience I can't wait to repeat with my family. Oh, and the view, shall we talk about it?

The staff is kind, meticulous, and professional. An unmissable experience for a restaurant that deserves more stars. The dishes are difficult to describe, but all exquisite. Each course... a ritual, also thanks to the beautiful story Anna tells. Everything is excellent!!!

You come to Naples expecting to find excellence only in traditional Neapolitan dishes, and then you discover J Contemporary Japanese Restaurant. A unique place, with a fantastic atmosphere, superb dishes, and a staff that's incredibly attentive to their customers. Highly recommended.

06/02/2026: We were 10 at J for dinner, and I have to say it was a truly special experience. It's not at all easy to manage such a large table with the right timing and attention to everyone, but here the service was impeccable: professional and always present without being intrusive. The quality of the food is top-notch, with the freshest ingredients and dishes crafted with attention to the smallest details. Excellent sushi, original combinations, balanced flavors, and beautiful presentation—everything top-notch. The pineapple to finish was incredible! A special mention also goes to the bartender, who offered us some wonderful cocktails both before and after dinner: original pairings, perfect preparation, and incredible attention to detail in making the evening a complete experience. Highly recommended. I'll be returning to Naples as soon as possible to visit again with my wife!

24/03/2026: I went to this pizzeria for the first time and I have to say that the pizza is excellent, the fried food a little less so. The girl serving us was very kind and helpful, but unfortunately we were too crowded, both ourselves and the other tables.

06/03/2026: A delicious croquette and an equally good pizza. Perhaps the dough could use a little more salt, but overall, it's really good. It's a small place with only about fifteen tables. They don't take reservations, so I recommend arriving early. Very good prices.
