05/08/2024: I went for dinner on a Saturday evening at the end of July and I must say that I noticed an elegant but family-run place, very attentive and friendly staff who also gave advice on the choice. There chef present in the kitchen very kind and attentive to detail. I tasted an excellent diavola, in fact the best I've ever eaten due to how soft it was and then I wanted to try one of the spectacular daisies: the Sorrento: really very summery and with genuine products such as basil and tomato that smell of quality. Our meal lacked value and love, just including the bare minimum.. one shared bruschetta pizza, bolognaise pasta and a frozen cherry dessert. It was nothing special and the dessert absolutely inedible.

03/09/2024: This is easily the best food we had in Naples. We both ordered the 5 course experience (one meat, one fish) and shared the food between us. The courses weren't pretentious, but had a depth of flavour which caused us to pause after every bite to savour the tastes. In particular, the Gnocchi with Mussles was impeccable. I would pay good money for the recipe they followed to make that pepper sauce! If you only have time for one meal while you're in Naples, visit Borbonika - you won't regret it.

26/08/2024: Nice surprise in the heart of Vomero The location is beautiful and you can eat in the cellars with vaulted ceilings and exposed stones. Friendly staff, present but never intrusive. Fish starters not exactly abundant in quantity but excellent and well prepared. Spaghetti alla Borbonika which represents an interesting, and in my opinion successful, reinterpretation of spaghetti with clams with pesto and pistachio. Fair price To return

01/09/2024: After many years, I finally returned to this place and I must say that nothing has changed: the dishes are still exquisite and the service remains impeccable and friendly, just like in the past.

02/09/2024: A distanza di due giorni torniamo a cena in uno dei migliori ristoranti dell’isola. Materie prime a km0 cucinate in modo eccelso. Location incredibile con vista sul castello aragonese e la penisola. Servizio cortese e puntuale. Si raccomanda il coniglio (da richiedere al momento della prenotazione) e tutti i primi. In particolare, siamo impazziti per i bucatini al sugo di coniglio serviti direttamente dalla pentola di coccio nella quale sono stati mantecati e le fettuccine funghi porcini e pistacchi. Vino della casa imbottigliato dalla cantina Mazzella eccezionale sia bianco che rosso. Forse i dolci un po’ troppo dolci, ma qui è questione di gusti e non di tecnica. Conto giustissimo. Atmosfera romantica ed elegante, sebbene sobria nel complesso. Proprietario sempre cortese e gentile. Consigliatissimo anche e soprattutto per chi desidera mangiare in un luogo fresco. Buone anche le pizze e la grigliata mista di carne. Felici di poter tornare e ogni volta uscire gratificati e soddisfatti dalla serata.

21/06/2024: An institution of pastry making and customer service, Bar Romano is always a certainty and it is a pleasure to know that you can turn to it to order pastries for events as well as for a 'sweet' stop when passing through. I highly recommend.

09/07/2024: Small but very nice and clean place. The bathrooms were also very clean. The owner who served us was very friendly and nice. Excellent food. We delighted in the Primo appetizer (5 tastings in single portions) with the addition of raw meats (additional course to the 5 single portions already mentioned). Pasta with mussels and roasted octopus on scapece courgettes as (excellent) main courses. A cheesecake for dessert, water and two glasses of wine for a total bill of around 90 euros if I remember correctly. I am extremely satisfied and when in the area I will definitely return.

05/06/2024: Il locale è bello, pulito, caratteristico. Tavoli e sedute comodi, mise en place semplice ma soddisfacente per il tipo di ristorazione proposta. Proprietario ed addetti alla sala cortesi (abbiamo tardato mezz'ora e non hanno fatto alcuna giusta rimostranza) e competenti. Bruschette ottime farcite con ingredienti di qualità, stesso dicasi per i panini: buoni al gusto e ben mixati per i sapori, buona la parmigiana. Carne buona anche se la frollatura dichiarata non ha dato quel sapore e quello sprint che l'avrebbe portata al livello superiore ma comunque in linea con il costo. Prezzi nella norma. Consigliatissimo se siete in zona ed avete voglia di buon cibo.

17/08/2024: If you understand at least a little about good cooking...I strongly advise against it! Falero and Marechiaro are a completely different story. There is no point in dwelling on the details regarding the quality of the food, also because after reporting my feedback to the manager the response I received was of total disinterest. Nothing to complain about the wine.

11/08/2024: Overall not good food, recovered aubergines on the side and re-seasoned with a lot of oil. Fatty food and impossible to digest. We were all very disappointed, not recommended. Dishes worth reviewing, the only positive note is the staff
