06/11/2025: The food is good and the views are great (if you're lucky). It's expensive, on par with Capri in general. I tried gnocchi alla caprese, since I was in Capri. Very tasty, but the portion was small. The waiter was very friendly and spoke Spanish. I gave him an €8 tip and then regretted it because I'm broke.

29/10/2025: Excellent pizzaria restaurant and their service is top class. Located a bit hidden in the street,... do yourself a favor and visit them. Clear winner in Capri.

19/10/2025: Cold welcome and poor customer service. The staff was rude and unprofessional. There were two of us waiting to be served, and three were behind the counter. After waiting for minutes, I called the staff's attention, their backs turned, and they were joking around, but they also had something to say. We were served with an annoyed expression, spilling ice cream all over the customer. We will never return.

28/08/2025: Excellent gelateria, historic for the location, exceptional flavors, and a warm welcome. In addition to our delicious cone, we enjoyed their signature treat: the freshly made hazelnut, truly amazing! We'll definitely be back!

14/12/2025: Last night we had Margherita pizzas. Unfortunately, they weren't good at all, definitely the worst I've had recently. It's been a while since I've been to this pizzeria, which I remembered as good. Yesterday, however, the pizzas were soaked in mozzarella juice, so they were raw and soggy. I sent mine back, but I got another one that was even worse. The waiter admitted there was too much mozzarella juice. I think that was the biggest problem, preventing the pizza from cooking in the short time it's in the oven. Don't tell me it's normal because the mozzarella needs to be cut ahead of time and drained before adding it to the pizzas; evidently, they didn't do that. Other customers at nearby tables expressed the same opinion, although they didn't complain to the wait staff like I did. The organization, however, was good, despite the long line for a table. If you like your pizza cooked just right, you're better off elsewhere.

14/12/2025: Located in a historic square, Piazza del Carmine. Typical Neapolitan pizza, excellent fried food, and friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

17/11/2025: The food was good. The white wine was perfect, fruity. The restrooms were clean. BUT: * What a racket! My ears could hardly stand it. * What a wait! It was Sunday, and it seemed the kitchen staff couldn't keep up. An hour for a simple pasta dish. That's way too long. What a shame.

12/11/2025: Great dinner at Convento in Cetara. Very quiet on a tuesday night in november. Great if anchovies are your thing. Had a Genovese di Tonno for the first time but i think i prefer the classic meat version.

09/12/2025: I've been a customer for years; I celebrated my 30th birthday here. As always, the food was top-notch and the service was fast and courteous. We ran over our scheduled time, but the waiters were always kind and courteous, when elsewhere they would have rushed the cake opening. All our guests were satisfied with the meal. Well done everyone!

16/11/2025: La Madrugada is a charming little place where you can enjoy fantastic freshly cooked nachos and beautifully crafted spicy meats served on skewers. Sergio cooks with passion, offering excellent dishes like his Valencian paella. All washed down with excellent sangria. An experience not to be missed.

Good food, all freshly prepared and in plain sight, excellent sangria, and, above all, the masterful management of the ever-legendary Sergio, friendly, fun, and always attentive to the needs of his customers, both old and new. Each dish embodies true Neapolitan cuisine, with quality ingredients, prepared with passion and skill. A trattoria that combines tradition, quality, and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

22/07/2025: Went to this Sushi restaurant to eat something different in Naples. The first thing noticed was the open can with soja sauce on every table. It was completely open to the air which isn’t too good and exactly for the reason that went on to result: as I poured the soja sauce a little in soja drowned bug came out with it. The food was pleasent to the eye and to the palate. The ambience was alright nothing too special. All in all an alright experience bugs in soja should be avoided though. Sushi prices are very expensive.

20/11/2025: Main point: if you're used to all-you-can-eat options (even high-end ones), this place isn't for you. A very elegant and "exclusive" restaurant: the tables are practically packed together, so it's impossible not to overhear the heroic deeds of the average Chiaia and Posillipo resident, who met the President of the Republic and dined in Hollywood with the King of the Republic of Congo. That aside, the service is forcedly high-end... to me, it seemed like a place run by young people who bothered to pour you water every now and then. As for the quality of the fish, it's undoubtedly top-notch and extremely fresh. The rice is perfectly cooked. The fried foods aren't greasy and are cooked to perfection. The only downside is that, for the most part, they're all fairly basic in flavor. We're objectively talking about raw fish, lightly seasoned, with little personality, and little imagination. I tried both the 50-piece sushi mix and some incredibly good value rolls (4 for €40). Honestly, I expected to be amazed and enthralled by the latter, but they were also quite tasteless. To recap... comparing it to the best all-you-can-eat restaurant in Naples: I don't want to compare the quality of the fresh fish, but rather the flavors and my health: I had a good time at both (I emphasize this because we're talking about raw meat), I spent a fair amount at both, and I ate enough at both. But personally, I find the ayce flavors more characterful and the dishes much more imaginative. This is my second time at J, so my experience wasn't entirely unforeseen. Both evenings, my thought was the same: it's simply a place for certain people, who aim to tag themselves there to post on Instagram.

28/10/2025: Absolutely incredible. We’re from California and get Japanese food consistently, and this was by far one of our favorite experiences we’ve ever had. The food was outstanding, ambience was sexy and fun, and the service was wonderful. Beverly specifically made our night and even showed us around the restaurant when we were finished with our dinner. We plan on coming back to Napoli soon and can’t wait to come back to this restaurant.

22/09/2025: My wife and I ate at this delicious restaurant on Sunday evening, September 21, 2025. The welcome was excellent and friendly. They recommended the catch of the day, and it was an unforgettable taste surprise. The calamari was the best I've ever had. The pizza was excellent. I'm also writing this review to remind myself where to go again. PS. Try the zuppa inglese... simply fantastic.

02/09/2025: The food was good. Reservations are recommended on weekends. The staff wasn't very friendly. I was a bit disappointed.

17/11/2025: For yet another stay in Naples, we chose this property again. This time, the standards were lower. We had our four-legged friend Figaro with us. The room was tiny and uncomfortable. There was a supplement for our dog, with the promise of a kit, but no kit. Parking was booked and paid for €40 for less than 24 hours, plus a further €40 charge for leaving after check-out time, which was reduced to €18 after a long back-and-forth. How could we lose customers?

17/11/2025: Overall, a very positive experience. The attention to guests was greatly appreciated, despite the large crowd. The only drawback: the reception staff were inconsistent and not always on top of things.
