Insieme a mio Marito abbiamo organizzato il battesimo di mio figlio.... Non potevamo fare scelta migliore.... Siamo stati avvolti da sapori e gusti meravigliosi..... Marco the owner plays his role in the best way, an exceptional person ready to satisfy our every need, and he made sure that our party took place in the best way... Exceptional food!!! Even today I receive compliments for everything. I recommend it to anyone who wants to live, and make live a sublime gastronomic experience in a FABULOUS location....

13/07/2025: La location all'interno di un antico palazzo è davvero affascinante. Pranziamo all'esterno in un ampio cortile rivestito d'edera su tutti i lati con tavoli abbastanza distanti tra loro e senza avvertire la calura esterna. Disponibili più degustazioni con un ampia possibilità di scelta considerato anche che i prezzi "alla carta" non sono esagerati. Selezioniamo proprio dalla carta ed iniziamo con il mosaico di tonno e ricciola marinati alla panzanella; è la composizione di tonno e ricciola a colpire l'occhio ma è il fantastico condimento della panzanella ad innestare le marce alte del gusto. Proseguiamo con la linguina con crema ai ricci di mare, cipollotto arrostito e polvere di nduja. Mescoliamo il tutto e la prima cosa che sentiamo è il cipollotto, buono, non eccezionale, ma non appena alla forchettata successiva peschiamo i ricci ecco che la soddisfazione è piena. Finora tutto bene ma è coì secondi che la cucina si esalta: sia l'"omaggio a Jackson Pollock", ovvero un filetto di rombo ricoperto da un velo di seppia con spuma di fagioli, spinaci, e chips al nero di seppia, sia l'agnello come un peperone “mbuttunat” sono di alto livello. L'omaggio a Pollock non è un semplice mix di ingredienti ma un insieme ben bilanciato dove ogni cosa ha motivo di esserci. L'agnello, con perfetta cottura, è semplicemente tra i più buoni mai assaggiati. Il piatto per cui ritornare. Si chiude con il gelato al provolone del monaco, una sorpresa per chi cerca qualcosa di nuovo ma, attenzione, non un dolce...dolce. Freschissima la "Green Experience" ovvero panna cotta al basilico, gelato al tè matcha, e schiuma di latte croccante. Da una carta dei vini con ricarichi ragionevoli scegliamo una bollicina: Albino Armani Trento Dosaggio Zero “Clè”, piacevole per l'intero pasto. Servizio veloce ed adeguato. Prezzi nella norma, buoni rispetto a location e qualità della cucina.

09/07/2025: Este lugar es genial, lo recomiendo mucho. Fuimos con nuestros hijos de 6 y 9 años y fueron muy serviciales. Todo, desde el pan y el aceite de oliva de entrada hasta los postres del final, estuvo genial. Mi hijo de 9 años: “El mejor restaurante del mundo”. Los postres fueron especialmente excelentes (escribo esto mientras comemos postre). ¡Vale la pena el dinero!

24/06/2025: A very special experience at Giggino!! We happened to be in Battipaglia by chance and found this little treasure. Aside from the mozzarella, which is delicious, we were very impressed by the appetizers: the octopus and potato salad and the mussels with pepper were delicious. The first courses were also excellent, both the rigacuori with tomato fillets and mozzarella, and the off-menu dish of the day, pasta with mussels and beans. Be careful with the rabbit (off-menu dish): being free-range, it is not very tender. Welcoming and hospitable. A positive note for the 70s/80s music, very much appreciated. In short, an experience to repeat!

22/06/2025: Informal and very familiar restaurant (in the sense that you feel right at home and with family) with references in the furnishings and in the reproduced music, to the 70s and 80s. Excellent food, we tried the omelette with onions and a pasta with beans and mussels and the inevitable buffalo mozzarella, very friendly, nice and helpful staff. Final treat a good coffee made with the moka with the possibility of correcting it with sambuca.

06/07/2025: I organized my 30th birthday party. Super welcoming and elegant place, important the presence of an outdoor garden where you can spend a great evening in the greenery. Excellent and quality food, with the availability to ask for different dishes for people with allergies or intolerances. The owner and the staff are very kind, super helpful and professional. 21/06/2025: We have been to Tenuta Michelangelo several times and we have always had a great time: warm welcome, family atmosphere and delicious cuisine that made us feel at home. Now, with the recent renovation, it is even more beautiful: attention to detail, comfortable and immersed in tranquility. A perfect place to relax, eat well and let yourself be pampered. We will definitely be back!

10/07/2025: This is fine dining with a touch of family feel and service. The food was delicious, the service was warm, very friendly and very detailed. The owner is the cook and is 3rd gen. The selection of wines is also very comprehensive. Finally the views are breathtaking creating an unforgettable atmosphere as they may only host no more than 20pax per night, which adds to the serenity. While the prices are at the high end, if you appreciate the whole experience then Baglio comes highly recommended.

09/07/2025: ✨ What an absolute gem of a dinner spot we discovered last night—romantic, delicious, and honestly worth every euro. We ordered the fish soup and the blue lobster pasta… and wow—both were mind-blowingly good. Honestly, some of the best we’ve ever had. Total standouts! The only (tiny) letdown was the mixed salad—it felt a bit lost next to the rest of the meal… kind of hard to even look at, to be honest. But the seafood more than made up for it—so fresh, so perfectly prepared, and just bursting with flavor. The atmosphere? Dreamy. The views are pure magic—overlooking a sweet little beach, with a luxe hotel-castle next door, and even a dramatic natural cave perched in the mountain above. And what makes it even more special? The couple who runs the place! He’s the charming waiter; she’s the brilliant chef (salad aside, she’s crushing it in the kitchen!). They’re both so kind and welcoming—it really feels like you’re dining in their home. We were way too full to try dessert, but we’re already planning to come back—whether it’s just for coffee and something sweet, or honestly, we might just go all-in for another dinner. Highly recommend for a romantic evening, seafood lovers, and anyone who appreciates a hidden spot with heart.

08/07/2025: The air-conditioned outdoor dining area is beautiful, with extraordinary succulents. The waiter was very friendly and professional. The aperitif was very good, accompanied by various appetizers; you can dine with whatever they bring. My husband is celiac, but he was able to enjoy his aperitif, accompanied by several gluten-free appetizers (tarts, stuffed focaccias, etc.). We had a wonderful time.

08/07/2025: One of the best meals we've had on our holiday! No menu, instead we got a personalised pasta dish for each of us, based on what we particularly like to eat. The waiter was very friendly and knows a good amount of English, so he was able to talk to us about which ingredients we like, and decide what to make us based on his knowledge of flavour combinations. Delicious homemade desserts too! Very good value for money. Grazie mille!

05/07/2025: Absolutely delicious road side restaurant. Everything is local, fresh, and made in house. It’s a family run business and the mother does all the cooking. The hand made pasta was phenomenal as well as the antipasti. The service was warm and friendly. Great place to grab lunch or dinner in the mountains.

03/06/2025: A small and wonderful Certosa We celebrated the communion of our beloved granddaughter Fiorella in this splendid structure with an ancient charm, which is exactly what we were looking for and what struck us the most. The atmosphere is truly suggestive and welcoming. The staff was exceptional: the constant presence of the maître, the waiters and even the owners made the entire service impeccable and very attentive. We really felt looked after and pampered at every moment. The food? Simply delicious and special. You can clearly perceive the care in the choice of products, all of the highest quality and very refined. Thanks also to the beautiful sunny day, we were able to enjoy and appreciate the garden made available to us for the ceremony, all in the open air and in perfect harmony with the nature of the place. I highly recommend this structure to those who want an elegant but at the same time welcoming place, where every detail is taken care of with passion.
