23/08/2025: We didn't take any photos because we were really hungry, but as I can tell you, it's a place where you'll love whatever you order. They offered us Neapolitan starters, which we really liked, and then we ordered pizza and calzones, and everything was delicious. It's definitely a great place to eat and enjoy. The service was perfect, everyone was very, very friendly.

21/08/2025: We went there with friends. The pizzeria is just steps from Spaccanapoli. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu offers something for everyone. The quality is good, and the prices are in line with those in Naples' historic center.

21/07/2025: Ambiente luminoso ed accogliente, ma estremamente tranquillo e rilassante, a cui contribuiscono anche la gentilezza e professionalita' del personale sempre pronto e disponibile. Bella la cucina a vista, ma la cosa importante sono i piatti, non molti fortunatamente, ognuno con sapore preciso ed equilibrato, con materie prime di ottima qualita', le verdure provengono da piccole coltivazioni del proprietario stesso. In definitiva un bel posto dove passare tranquillamente del tempo gustando ottimi piatti della tradizione. Una bella scoperta dove ritornare piu' spesso. Un grazie allo Chef.

21/07/2025: Ristorante di charme, accogliente e senza volontà di aderire a mode recenti e passeggere. Abbiamo cenato all’interno, dove na discreta selezione musicale è un personale di sala sorridente e premuroso ci ha accolto con simpatia. Menù degustazione che dagli antipasti, polpo scottato su purea di finocchi, al primo, mezze maniche con pescespada, melanzane, menta e pomodoro, passando per un secondo, un filetto di ricciola , patate e fagiolini ( varietà lunga di diretta coltivazione) ha trovato una dolce conclusione in un’eccellente caprese al cioccolato e gelato alle mandarle. I piatti semplici e ben equilibrato, saporiti e gustosi, ben presentati. Cantina ben fornita, atmosfera intima e rilassata. Il nostro plauso allo chef, e al direttore di sala per la sua presenza gentile e professionale. L’incontro con una cucina genuina e locale, è stato arricchito dalla conoscenza con il proprietario, persona conviviale e di grande cultura. Con estremo piacere ci ha regalato aneddoti stupendi sulla cucina napoletana, partendo dalla corte di Federico II , fino a tempi moderni. Grazie per il suo nocillo, e soprattutto la graditissima compagnia! Torneremo con amici, molto presto!

Chef Costantino will be able to focus on the maximum sensory experience that is usually impossible but not for those who are SUSCEPTIBLE for one evening 10 and praise as always, and it's not a given nowadays!

17/08/2025: I had lunch there with my family. I searched for and chose the place because I'm celiac, so I was worried they wouldn't like it, but everyone was very satisfied with the quality of the food. The portions were unexpectedly generous (and the bill was a pleasant surprise!), but despite that, they happily polished it off. As a celiac, I also ate a huge amount of good food. A special mention for Maria, the young woman who served us the entire time: very gracious, sweet, and kind. The place gave us a welcoming and familiar feeling. The bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh. Outside, there's a large, very relaxing green area. We'll be back.

22/08/2025: Excellent pub in Vomero, right near the Via Caldieri exit, on your left. Featuring both an indoor and outdoor dining area, the pub offers a wide variety of options, including sandwiches (including meatless ones), crostoni, and plated meals. Excellent beer selection. A family-friendly atmosphere and highly competitive prices.

26/07/2025: I walked into this place around 3:00 PM and ordered grilled mussels for €15, which were nothing grilled. They brought me a soup with croutons, and obviously good quality mussels, otherwise I would have sent them back immediately. The sauce was salty, though, so I ate them because it was late and I was hungry. Afterward, I hoped for spaghetti with clams for €25, but it was saltier than the mussels, and I had to leave it after two forkfuls because it was inedible! I explained that I couldn't continue because of this. The owner's response was that they hadn't added salt, and he was so arrogant and rude. He yelled and swore, telling me that I was the only one who didn't like the others. Yes, his wife came out and started saying that the journalist was better than me because he studied and that he liked it and I didn't. Unbelievable, absurd things! I continued to say with astonished calm that I was only expressing my taste, my very legitimate opinion on what I had and hadn't eaten! I left my plate half-finished and not only did they verbally attack me, but the wife even supported her husband, who was getting extremely upset!! He was screaming! And they even made me pay for what I didn't eat! I drank a whole bottle of water because of all that brine! In short, I've never experienced anything so absurd in a restaurant!! 42 euros wasted!!! NEVER AGAIN! AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY RESPONDED TO MY REVIEW WITH A LIE!!!! WHAT PEOPLE!!!

18/08/2025: Communion Event, We ate very well, even with seconds 👏, service was good. Gluten-free entertainment at 🔝, it's not easy to manage so many children indoors when it's raining outside, well done. Private parking at no extra cost.

16/08/2025: Decent location, nothing exceptional. The dishes are average. Given the size of the establishment, the lack of an elevator to the upper dining room is disappointing and perplexing. This means it's not suitable for the disabled, elderly, or those with limited mobility.

07/09/2025: During a short vacation in Ischia, on the recommendation of some residents, I was able to enjoy excellent food at "Mare Chiaia," a restaurant and pizzeria run by my good friend Alessandro. We went for dinner on September 2 and 3, 2025. The first evening, we enjoyed excellent pizzas and excellent mussel-based first courses. The second evening, we enjoyed a delicious tempura, cod-based second courses, and excellent first courses (paccheri with amberjack sauce and monkfish sauce), all accompanied by an excellent white wine, and to finish, a delicious dessert accompanied by an excellent local liqueur. What can I say? Alessandro (the owner) is a delightful, kind, and sociable person. The staff is courteous, friendly, and ready to accommodate any request (and unlike some annoying, nosy, and often incompetent places). What can I say? There are few places where you can find all this, so I can only be satisfied. And, on a future trip, who knows, maybe back to Ischia (a wonderful place), my go-to pizzeria will be MARE CHIAIA. 16/07/2025: Abbiamo aspettato quasi un'ora per poter ordinare acqua, pane e vino. L'ordinazione viene raccolta a voce senza palmare e poi viene riscritta dalla medesima persona sulla cassa perdendo ulteriore tempo. Abbiamo chiesto insistentemente acqua e pane. Hanno servito due fette di carne importanti senza le pinze per l'opportunità distribuzione tra i commensali. Abbiamo chiesto quattro porzioni di patatine e ne sono arrivate due e non ricordo quante ne abbiamo pagate. Abbiamo chiesto un antipasto di tre bun ed è arrivata un antipasto con due bun. Prezzi totalmente fuori linea rispetto alla location, alla posizione geografica del locale ed al servizio. Non millantate compentenze che non avete ed andate umilmente a studiare da chi questo mestiere lo fa con serietà e professionalità.
