I had lunch at this restaurant with my family. Very welcoming and really friendly and helpful staff. As a vegetarian, I found several interesting dishes such as the Caveja starter (I only had to avoid a little bit), Pettola and chickpeas and the excellent pancotto, both with beans and broccoli. The desserts were exquisite, we tasted the conventual ones, the cantucci and the caveja tart. Definitely coming back

We didn't stay but went here for lunch.
Excellent, really everything excellent. We ate from the appetizer to the dessert... Everything "hand made". The beans with pancotto, the guitars with ragù and the pork shank are very good. The lemon delight is perfect to end the hearty meal... But the caveja tart is also a must try! In short, everything is delicious... Unique atmosphere, with the fireplace lit it is ideal in winter. The owner is a truly delightful lady, very kind.. And if you are undecided, let her advise you!

It represents the culinary and cultural tradition of the upper Caserta area. Unique experience in hospitality, in the tradition of peasant dishes. Exceptional quality and local wines... easy to reach with ample private parking... worth trying!

We returned after many years after visiting the Medieval Tower of Pietravairano. unfortunately abandoned to herself...which she doesn't deserve. We found the restaurant significantly improved, which was already reported by the Michelin Guide in 2015. Being the only customers on a midweek day we were able to enjoy the full availability of the owner who acted as a guide not only on the dishes but also on the surrounding places that are worth a visit such as Pietramelara and San Pietro Infine. The place is rustic, typical and very well looked after. Almost all the dishes are km 0 or from their own garden. We had lunch choosing a first course based on homemade scialatielli with truly delicious fresh porcini mushrooms. For the second course, baked pork shank with a side dish of pan-fried local chicory and tripe in sauce with salad. Everything exquisite. For fruit who are very lucky to be able to taste strawberry grapes still in mid-November, a taste that takes you back in time... and to finish, an excellent cake, la caveia... Excellent wine list. We will definitely return. Rooms available. We also purchased some homemade jams with apricots and the now rare quince. A place that absolutely deserves a visit!

Die Speisen zum Abendessen waren sehr lecker, die Weinliste umfangreich und gut. Das Zimmer allerdings klein, nicht sehr komfortabel und zu kalt; das Frühstück war sehr bescheiden.

Ho cenato e pernottato come spesso faccio sostando durante i miei viaggi a Tropea insieme al mio compagno ed entrambi siamo sempre rimasti molto soddisfatti sia della gentilissima e familiare accoglienza sia della titolare sia della collaboratrice-cuoca. Ottime proposte di cibo del territorio e buona proposta di vini regionali. Dulcis in fundo possibilità di acquistare marmellate e limoncino(eccezionale) di loro produzione. Camere confortevoli e ben arredate.Frequentando la struttura da diversi anni, non comprendiamo le recensioni negative che abbiamo letto assolutamente non corrispondenti alle nostre esperienze.
