J Contemponary Japanese Restaurant In Napoli

In short I would definitely recommend, but to go into detail My girlfriend and I came right at opening on a Wednesday and was seated immediately, not long after the other tables started to fill up. The service here was phenomenal; the staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food came out fast and tasted fresh. (Probably some of the best sushi I've had) I felt my server was extremely attentive and came by to check on the table at appropriate times, never when I was mid bite. I'd happily come back and will definitely recommend to friends when they travel here.

This was, without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. We came to celebrate my girlfriend Roni’s birthday, and from the moment we walked in, every single detail was perfect. The entire team went above and beyond to make the evening truly unforgettable. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and full of amazing flavors. The sushi was among the best we’ve ever had, and you could really taste the quality of every ingredient. What made the evening even more special was the incredible hospitality. The team surprised Roni with a beautiful birthday dessert, complimentary from the restaurant, making her feel truly celebrated. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and it meant a lot to us. A very special thank you to our wonderful waitress, Princess. She was kind, professional, attentive, and always had the warmest smile. She made us feel genuinely welcome and played a huge part in making this birthday celebration so memorable. Thank you to everyone for creating such a perfect evening. What a lovely find on Via Depretis. The quality of the fish is truly astonishing, and the presentation is meticulously crafted. We were particularly impressed by the aesthetics of the presentation, particularly the contrast between the black of the plate and the vibrant colors of the sushi. The dessert, served inside a pineapple on a bed of ice, was also a wonderful surprise. An excellent experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for something special.

Every dish is meticulously crafted, from the presentation to the quality of the ingredients, which is evidently top-notch. One of the best places to enjoy the city of Sorrento. Not only the best views in the city, but the best service and food. Sam and Kim made my experience 12/10. The best. Grazie Mille. I will be back as soon as I can :)

Lackluster tasting menu. Flavors missing, or too much (lime, ponzu, teriyaki, miso, spicy mayo, etc). Rice is terribly unflavored and hard. Basic tempura shrimp with spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce. Last dish—tempura fish was over dried. Caviar was FAKE, I’m Russian, don’t try that…all the flavors of the fish felt disguised by too much sauce. The tiramisu dessert was pretty good but too sweet. The sesame ice cream was pretty good. Drinks—Beluga vodka martini, extra dirty. Delicious drink, definitely hit it here. Could have had better olive option though—we are in Naples! Service was pretty good. Attentive, BUT we had to ask them to slow down each stage. Before we did one plate wouldn’t even leave the room before next one arrived. Over, skip…
