19/03/2025: Food was excellent. Service was directly from Massimo & Carlo the owner and son. Ordered pasta and pizza. Eggplant parmigiana, pasta puttanesca, and pasta carbonara. We always look for local restaurants like this where the locals eat. Its fantastic!

01/03/2025: Beautiful place, all with exposed brickwork, very well managed by 2 brothers, one in the dining room guides you to the best choices and the other on the grill with perfect cooking. Obviously matured meat reigns supreme and is an exceptional raw material. To complete it all, a cuisine that brings excellent appetizers and first courses of the Irpinian tradition to the table. The cellar is worth a visit with the many paper labels. Compliments Excellent value for money

24/02/2025: If you are a meat lover, this grill in Bagnoli Irpino is a must. The quality of the meat is excellent, with a cut offered in different variations and cooking methods, to satisfy every taste. The starter is truly plentiful, rich in typical local flavours, and accompanied by a good local wine. The staff is friendly and helpful, always attentive to customer needs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the cellar is absolutely worth a visit, with an interesting selection of wines. An added value is the historic butcher's shop attached to the grill, where you can buy excellent quality meat. For those who want to dine on the weekend, it is advisable to book in advance, given the high influx of customers. Recommended experience for those looking for authenticity and taste!

03/03/2025: It's a must visit place to eat in Maiori. Pizzas are awesome, pasta too. Veal steak was also very delicious. There's plenty of drinks to choose from and the menu has recommendations for each dish with what drink to pair.

24/02/2025: Questa osteria è piccolina, nel cuore di Maiori, non offre parcheggio, si trova su una zona molto pedonale, i piatti sono prevalentemente di pesce e poi c’è un’ampissima scelta di pizze. Inoltre (e per questo la valutazione) sono bravissimi con il senza glutine, la pasta (un unico tipo ma fatto a mano) buonissima, il pane che vi portano mai mangiato così buono in un ristorante! Potete scegliere qualsiasi cosa senza glutine, vi accontenteranno e soprattutto i dolci! Ci ritornerò di sicuro.

10/01/2025: Top place in the center of Naples, the dishes are all veg and delicious, the service is fast and super kind and helpful and the prices for service and food are more than adequate. The place is small but very cute and characteristic.

29/03/2025: Unfortunately, the experience at this pizzeria was not the best. The place is in an inconvenient area, with no parking nearby, so we had to leave the car far away. Once inside, the staff was not very welcoming, especially a dark-haired waitress who spoke rudely. I must admit that the pizza and chips were good, but the biggest problem was another: while my father was eating, he almost broke a tooth because we found a small stone in the plate! We immediately reported the matter to the waiters, but no one even bothered to apologize.

17/11/2024: Das erste, was auffällt, ist der wirklich herzliche Empfang. Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und wurden begrüsst wie alte Freunde. Wir waren früh genug und durften unseren Tisch selbst aussuchen. Danach kam die Speisekarte mit einer Flasche Wasser und den Empfehlungen des Kochpersonals. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Obwohl wir nach dem Hauptgang eigentlich satt waren, konnten wir nicht widerstehen, auch noch die Nachspeise zu versuchen. Belohnt wurde dieser Entschluss mit einem abschliessenden Limoncello...!

07/10/2024: This was wonderful discovery. We ordered antipasta with octopus, mussel soup, spagettoni with sea bass, and topped it all off with peach and amaretto mousse. Every dish was super delicious! Service was excellent and personal from Miguel, with family like atmosphere. We highly recommend this place and food we've tasted. Alex

01/03/2025: We had the pleasure of spending three hours at Il Papavero and time seemed to fly: the tasting menu was an impeccable sensorial journey, with dishes that were not only delicious, but also creative and presented with great care. What made the experience truly special, however, was the unique atmosphere we breathed thanks to the dining room manager, Francesco, and all the staff. Each dish was explained to us with passion and competence, without ever seeming too formal or distant. Their attention to detail and ability to make us feel at home transformed lunch into an experience we will not easily forget. A restaurant where the quality of the food combines perfectly with the warm welcome of the staff. We will definitely be back! Two guys from Naples
