We trusted the excellent Google reviews and we're so glad we did – we weren't disappointed at all! A superb restaurant in the heart of Naples, where we had a wonderful meal. In addition to the delicious food, the service was truly impeccable; the two waiters were absolutely lovely :) You can go there without hesitation!

We have just been back for a 4th time (2023 x 2, 2024 and 2026), this time with our children to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Fantastic place to eat, small and quirky. The food and wine were excellent. The food is very different, wouldn't recommend for plain eaters. The waiter was lovely. (sorry it would only let me edit my post, rather than post a new one 🙄)

Luca "Auanasgheps," in addition to delighting our brains with his forays into local human affairs (see Facebook), has decided to tickle our taste buds, palate, and nose with Azzuppa, a restaurant featuring a refined yet highly enjoyable and accessible food and wine offering (and I deliberately don't say "gourmet," fearing the manager's ire). The ambiance is delightful, the dishes and ingredients are sophisticated and flavorful, and the selection of wines, beers, and spirits is excellent. We're a long way from the "Nutellone world," and that's a good thing, and the overall experience is truly worthy of a star for flavor, satisfaction, and hospitality.

Thankfully, they're here to create creative and delicate cuisine. It's a lifesaver among thousands of touristy restaurants in Naples. The dishes are super special and delicious, very delicate. The service is fast and very welcoming. The place is really small, so reservations are required.
