22/02/2025: Hermoso restaurante y personal encantador, pero era muy uno - nota. Tenía la firma y las porciones particulares de esa noche eran todas saladas o pescado. Tal vez esperaba demasiado de un restaurante con Estrella Michelin, pero me fui decepcionado. No volveremos.
19/01/2025: Una esperienza da vivere per gli amanti del gusto e dell'ospitalità, il ricordo degli attimi di piacere rimane impresso come il calore ed il garbo dell'accoglienza.. abbiamo provato il menù degustazione e con sommo gaudio tutte le pietanze erano buonissime ed ottimamente accompagnate dai vini scelti dai sommelier; è un ristorante di grande qualità ed alta cucina dove poter assaporare abbinamenti geniali e non riscontrabili altrove, grande merito ad Ernesto Iaccarino in cucina e Mario Iaccarino in sala per aver saputo proseguire e impreziosire la grande eredità ricevuta dai genitori. Complimenti e a presto.

26/03/2025: Describing the experience of eating at Qui Sorrento is almost impossible. How can you describe an emotion, a pleasure... New, delicate flavors...
For me, who am a true "gourmand", my experience at Qui Sorrento was simply fantastic - from the flavors to the presentation of the dishes, in a "clean" and relaxing environment, with a super welcoming and professional staff.
Imagine: just like you pay to go to the theater, at Qui the difference is that you are not simple spectators, but the true protagonists of a unique experience!
Today, looking at the menu online, I can't find many of the things I tasted. Maybe because we had a group reservation with a menu based on a tasting of appetizers.
My advice? Do the same! Book, communicate any dietary restrictions and let yourself be surprised by the chef's creativity.
And enjoy your meal! :-)

17/03/2025: Nulla da dire sul percorso degustazione. Piatti studiati e ricercati.
Purtroppo, però, sono rimasta molto delusa dall'atteggiamento del gestore che mi ha messo a disagio poichè non potevo tenere la mia giacca con me (di cui avevo bisogno per alzarmi). Sono stata richiamata perchè dovevo necessariamente lasciarla al guardaroba quando in realtà c'erano tavoli pieni di gente che lasciava la propria giacca sulla sedia. Non ho ancora compreso il motivo.
Non mi sono affatto sentita a mio agio, ho dovuto tenere la giacca per tutto il tempo addosso, recandomi disagio per il caldo.
Si è parlato di rispetto del regolamento. Ok, a casa degli altri ci si comporta assoggettandosi alle regole, non ho nulla da dire. Ma vorrei che siano applicate le stesse regole a tutti.
Non ci tornerei.

02/03/2025: Ho scelto di festeggiare il compleanno della mia compagna alla Torre del Saracino, dove lavora lo chef Gennaro Esposito uno dei capisaldi della ristorazione Nazionale e Internazionale. Il Menù degustazione da 11 portate è stato un'esperienza mistica, cibo superlativo, di una leggerezza inaudita, enorme padronanza della tecnica e accostamenti poco scontati. In sala il Personale è estremamente professionale e preparato su tutto, dal maitre al sommelier, compresi tutti i ragazzi che lavorano nel ristorante. Uno staff davvero invidiabile, detto da un uomo come me che lavora nella ristorazione da 14 anni!
Cigliegina sulla torta (oltre alla candela per la mia compagna 😅), la premura di accompagnarci con la macchina in stazione a Vico Equense vista la strada in salita che ci aspettava e il brutto tempo! Complimenti a tutti quanti ragazzi, siete un vero esempio di professionalità e umanità! Ci rivedremo sicuramente!

08/04/2025: And then there is 'O BARETT which among the many clubs in the wonderful streets of my city stands out as does the White Rabbit's Den, a place with attention to the smallest details, very pleasant lights and music, very varied cocktails and all excellently prepared!! The owner and staff are excellent hosts. A gem. You can visit many places in life but you leave your heart to few. GO THERE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!

28/11/2024: After too many limoncello samples in the Via Fuoro I stumbled into Fresco and had so much fun with the staff. I ended up on the ‘wrong’ side of the counter and had a great end to my evening. Great ice cream and great people. You have to sample this after the limoncello. 👍
