22/06/2025: I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this pizzeria. I had clearly specified that I wanted an undercooked pizza, but it arrived with a burnt edge and a disgusting appearance, more reminiscent of vomit than an appetizing dish. The quality of the ingredients leaves much to be desired and the presentation is simply unacceptable. After calling to complain, I pointed out that the pizza was burnt, but I was arrogantly told that it was impossible, even though it can be clearly seen in the photos. Furthermore, the staff simply pointed out that the pizza cost €11, while on the receipt it was €11.50, as if that justified everything. Treating a customer this way is unacceptable!!

21/06/2025: Absolutely NOOOOOO The food is okay but the service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!! A very long, unnerving and absolutely unjustified wait; after almost an hour, chips, after another half an hour, 2 abundant pizzas and two fried foods, after another half an hour, the last two pizzas. In the meantime, a useless and absurd wait for the sauces and an empty plate (it would have taken just a moment, the time to go back and leave!!!!!). Sharing with other guests that they saw something incredible and shocking!!!! RUN AWAY!!!!!!

21/04/2025: Basho is a real gem. Over the years, we have returned several times and have never been disappointed. However, we have noticed a notable improvement. From the entrance to the moment of the bill, every detail is taken care of with a passion and professionalism that can be clearly perceived. The place is welcoming, with a refined atmosphere, but the real added value lies in the people. A special thanks to the impeccable management of Mattia, who knows how to combine competence and customer attention in a rare way. It's clear how much he cares, and that really makes a difference. Applause also goes to Giovanni, professional, friendly and attentive: his service was simply perfect, always present but never intrusive, with a courtesy that deserves to be underlined. The menu is refined, with very fresh raw materials. We will return every time we return to Cosenza.

11/03/2025: Terrible experience! We went to this place with my partner after booking well in advance for Valentine's night! They book us for the second evening at 10pm but in reality the problems are already starting with a long queue and we are seated at 11pm! Then once seated we order a few dishes and after more than half an hour of waiting around 11.40pm they serve us the first course of sushi and tell us that it is not possible to serve the first courses because they have finished them. So we look at the menu again and order more sushi, only that there too they tell us that it's not possible that the prawns are finished, then the salmon and so on, it's all finished! Insomma un flop totale! But I say why did they seat us if they had already finished half the food? Then the guy who manages it arrives, apologizing in every possible and imaginable way, trying to get us to prepare (obviously offered by him) something available since it was midnight and we were practically fasting! Apart from Michele's availability I will never return! Yes, it's true the quality is excellent but for this very reason I expect perfection in everything from a name like basho, also considering the very high prices! In Cosenza it's not the only one with high quality so I will definitely go somewhere else with a much better quality/price ratio 💪

25/01/2025: Ad un’ora e un quarto da quando ci siamo seduti, non erano arrivate neanche le patatine. Dopo aver visto che altri commensali arrivati dopo di noi iniziavano a mangiare, abbiamo sollecitato e finalmente le abbiamo viste apparire quasi in simultanea con le pizze che tra l’altro una era sbagliata e arrivata quando noi avevamo finito le nostre. Esperienza da dimenticare.

08/02/2025: Today I have to, unfortunately, give a negative review. I had asked for a pistachio lobster but the waitress insisted on offering me the pistachio croissant. The problem is that it was semi-raw, vomiting. Then they don't have wholemeal croissants.

26/01/2025: 01/26/2025..unfortunately we Celiacs are penalized! Let me start by saying that I had called a few weeks before asking for information... I was told that some things had to be ordered but other things like the croissant I would easily find. Tonight I'm going with my husband... I ask if you could have an aperitif, the lady replies saying she doesn't have anything and that to have the aperitif I should have called a day in advance, because gluten-free products cannot be displayed! So I'll call a day before to tell her that maybe tomorrow I'll want to have an aperitif! (Ironic)

06/09/2024: Great place to eat gluten-free pizza. The pizza is excellent and I know you can season it however you prefer. The chips are prepared in a separate pan and gluten-free CALA beer is also available. The place is very nice with a beautiful view of the sea. The service is excellent and the waiters are friendly and very helpful

05/04/2025: Structure equipped with every comfort and above all with very kind staff. For a day of relaxation we chose this hotel just outside Rossano and we had a great time. The room was clean and spacious. We slept on a comfortable and spacious bed and, after a hearty breakfast, at 10.00 we were in the spa for two hours of total relaxation with clean and spacious rooms. The spa also offers a salt room and. it's not for everyone. The icing on the cake was that we had to vacate the room by 10.00 am but the very kind manager of the facility offered us a very welcome late checkout so that we could also use it after the spa experience. Highly recommended.

02/07/2025: For me it's now a place of the heart! ❤️Le Casette was the first restaurant "tested" here in the area and from there I never left, it was love at first sight, here you feel at home, you find smiles and kindness even before entering ... a few nights ago we returned, happy to find Mr. Biagio, an exquisite person in addition to the skill he has in doing his job, you can see that he does it with love, last year he told us the story of the birth of Guardia and showed us where to go to see some historical pieces.. anyway we took two first courses, one of which was new this year, with yellow cherry tomatoes, shrimp and stracciatella ... it's not a pasta dish, it was pure poetry, with every bite you could taste all the ingredients without excess and with a wonderful combination of flavors! The other dish was similar to the seafood but with the addition of walnuts and lime, sublime and tasty also this one, which we already knew... Mr. Biagio recommended the new beer produced here in Guardia, also for the beer a fabulous experience, an almost spicy aftertaste, and it was perfect paired with the first courses we chose.. In addition I feel like recommending all their other dishes, from appetizers to desserts, the pizza is also excellent, they offer second courses of fish cooked very well And without a shadow of a doubt you will always be welcomed in a great way, even if the room is full they will never make you feel "forgotten"! Everyone is kind, the owners, the waiters, really a place that deserves so much What can I say, 100% recommended without a doubt❤️

01/05/2025: È la prima (ed ultima) volta che vengo in questo posto.Un po' carino fuori ma piccolo all'interno, il cibo cucinato bene.Un po' di confusione nella consegna delle portate ma le cose che mi hanno lasciato di stucco sono le seguenti: Un gelato (coppetta piccola)servito a tavola 4 euro e lo stesso preso fuori (ma non presente nello scontrino allegato perché pagato dopo)3 euro,con l'aggiunta di mezza fragola arriviamo a 5 euro ma la"chicca"è il costo di 5 euro per una bottiglia di coca Cola da 1 . Assurdo direi. Non ci metto più piede. Allego scontrino ovviamente.

24/03/2025: Ero stato in questo posto il giorno durante le vacanze natalizie.....e rimasi ben impressionato dal fatto che i bambini mangiarono tutto e che alcuni piatti erano cucinati veramente bene.....ieri 23 03 ho ripetuto l'esperienza e confermo.....piatti abbondanti e gustosi....varietà e qualità dei prodotti della nostra terra....prezzi giusti!! patate al forno con agnello eccezionale!!

14/06/2025: Ho avuto modo di lavorare in questa pizzeria per un periodo e, con la massima sincerità e nel rispetto di tutti, sento di poter condividere la mia esperienza. Dal punto di vista della qualità del prodotto, purtroppo devo dire che la pizza spesso risultava poco cotta, e nel complesso non raggiungeva gli standard che ci si aspetterebbe da un locale del genere. Per quanto riguarda l’ambiente di lavoro, mi dispiace constatare che non è stato sereno. Ho trovato alcune persone poco collaborative e, in certi casi, addirittura maleducate e aggressive, il che ha reso il clima molto pesante. Ci tengo però a sottolineare che i due cuochi rappresentano una piacevole eccezione: professionali, educati e sempre disponibili. Nonostante tutto, considero anche questa esperienza come una lezione importante. Personalmente, non vedevo l’ora di voltare pagina e oggi sono felice di averlo fatto.

12/05/2025: It wasn't easy to find a place open in Castrovillari on a Monday for lunch....but in the end we did it.... It was a very positive experience... The exquisite food (tagliatelle with nduja, mushrooms and more and a cut of meat)... ....very fast service....but it must be said our table was the only one in the whole place... The clean environment, tastefully furnished, the functional and spotless bathrooms.... What can I say... it was worth it... I recommend it!!!!!

23/03/2025: Siamo andati a provare il locale sabato 22 marzo con altri 3 amici, due celiaci e due no. L'esperienza é stata veramente pessima : 1)In un panino senza glutine abbiamo trovato quello "qualcosa" , a fine serata ci é stato detto che era "probabilmente " un pezzo di spugna !!! 2) io e l'altra ragazza celiaca abbiamo finito di stare male solo oggi ( mattinata del giorno seguente ) 3) al conto, non hanno voluto togliere dallo scontrino il panino che non abbiamo potuto mangiare perché vista la contaminazione della spugna !! Ma ci hanno fatto solo uno sconto di 10 euro .... Veramente assurdi 4 ) quando abbiamo pagato hanno sbagliato a fare i conti e ci hanno fatto pagare più di quello che doveva essere il conto ( al netto delle 10 euro di sconto ) e quando glielo abbiamo fatto notare ci hanno risposto " imparate a fare i conti "... Mai provato un locale peggiore di questo ! Pensaci due volte prima di andarci a mangiare e se sei celiaco, per la tua incolumità , non pensarci proprio e vai altrove

28/06/2025: Passing by, we stopped for breakfast. We ordered an iced tea, a cappuccino, a coffee, two croissants with cream and a mini cream puff for the modest sum of €12.20. They charged us €2.50 for the cappuccino and €1.50 for the mini cream puff (as if it were in the city centre) and an extra croissant for €1.50. I called, so as not to feel like I was being taken for a ride, and at the cashier they couldn't give me the prices but asked me to come back because the guy who had paid the cash at that moment wasn't there. I find this behavior really dishonest and I hope for their sake that it's not the norm. The service also needs to be reviewed. The guy came to pay the cash at his leisure, there were only two customers at the counter. I wouldn't go back for anything.

13/06/2025: Mi hanno consigliato questo ristorante pizzeria l'anno scorso. Questa è la 6 volta che ceno e in tutte le occasioni servizio eccellente, cortesia e gentilezza. Cibo molto buono, sempre abbondante come porzioni. Oggi ho preso una tagliata di tonno spettacolare, veramente bravi. La recinzione è frutto di una ripetuta positività, e non una banale cena occasionale. Continuate così, non c'è nulla da migliorare.
