21/03/2026: We've been here before; everything was good and the atmosphere was nice. We stopped in this evening, having made a reservation, and we received appalling service. A table taken from outside at the last minute was dirty, with a dirty tablecloth attached, and a "tablecloth" covering it. Furthermore, only one of the two chairs was from inside, and the other, like the table, was taken from outside and quickly cleaned with a wet cloth. Being placed in the center of the room, needless to say, we felt quite uncomfortable. We preferred to leave and find something else. We're disappointed because, as I repeat, the pizza is delicious, but I don't think we'll be back.

15/03/2026: We made a reservation for 7 people through the Cooperto app. We arrived a few minutes before 8:00 PM, but the reservation was missing at the door. We showed the confirmation email and WhatsApp, but nothing. They claimed that reservations for more than 6 people required a deposit, which the system didn't ask for (we later tried rebooking to test it, and it wouldn't let us enter a credit card for the deposit), and that without a deposit, the reservation wouldn't be registered. Despite our complaints and requests to be seated anyway, even though we had two children in tow, and there were still tables available, we were told those tables were for other people who had made reservations. As if we hadn't made those reservations ourselves. They offered to wait for more tables to become available, but they didn't know when. At that point, we grabbed the kids and headed to another local pizzeria, which welcomed us without any problems. Needless to say, a disastrous experience. It should be removed from the Top50Pizza rankings immediately. A mishap can happen, but top quality is demonstrated by management skills and by not inconveniencing customers who have properly booked (with a booking confirmation included). It would have been enough to offer two fried foods to the children to while away the time (and hunger) while waiting for a table to be freed up. None of this. We had very little luck.

18/01/2026: I'm sharing this experience after the 2nd or 3rd time I've tried the restaurant... seated at 8:30 PM (4 people), we received our pizza at 10:15 PM. The menu was delivered after a half-hour wait, and after ordering a mixed fried pizza, we had an interminable wait for the pizza. This all seems to repeat itself time after time, and when we ask the waiter, after waiting over an hour, we're told, "You'll have to wait longer for the pizzas." Finally, the pizza arrived, one of which was wrong and another was raw.

04/12/2025: What can I say? Excellent location. I stayed there one night, the room was spotless and felt like being in a grand hotel. I will gladly return next time and recommend it to anyone passing through Scalea.

29/03/2026: A terrible evening, even though it started decently. At checkout, we were charged for three beers, which we never consumed, didn't arrive, or even ordered. The *massive* confusion over the orders probably led the waitresses to add other people's beers to our bill. Due to the staff's petty manner, who delicately shouted at us in front of everyone, stopping us as if we were thieves, one of our group, out of embarrassment, decided to pay for them anyway. The total was €17, that is, three beers for €5 plus a cover charge, even though she had already paid for her *real* drink. (Congratulations also to the double cover charge paid by the same person 😂). Absolutely not recommended.

22/03/2026: Nice place, but the dishes were tiny, and worst of all, we had to wait 1.5 hours for our order. The cocktails were very good. Unfortunately, this is the second time in 30 days that the wait has exceeded an hour.

08/08/2025: Marzia, the owner's daughter, was extremely kind and helpful with all my requests. She let me store my e-bike safely, provided me with a Wi-Fi extender since the connection was spotty and I needed it for work, and even gave me a discount on my final payment, even though the agreed-upon price for the week was already favorable. The breakfast included in the price was good and satisfying. The room cleaning staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. Just steps from the beach, it's the perfect place to relax on site or drive to nearby attractions. I can't wait to return.

05/02/2026: The McDonald's in Rende Marconi presents itself very well in every way. The staff is courteous, kind, and extremely attentive to the customer. The service was quick and efficient: we personally took the trays to be collected, but the young man in the dining room thanked us with a smile, a clear sign of a truly successful staffing strategy. Furthermore, there were sandwiches and specials dedicated to the great classics, prepared with a care not always found at all the chain's locations. You can tell that the kitchen staff also works meticulously in combining ingredients, ensuring quality and consistency. The drinks were served with just the right amount of ice, perfectly chilled, and with truly excellent service speed. The restaurant is well air-conditioned, and we felt completely at ease. Despite being located in a busy university area, with many young people and a constant flow of people, everything was neat and clean. The number of staff in the dining room was adequate, and the overall organization was impeccable. There's also a convenient and efficient McDrive outside, along with a tidy parking area with both free and paid spots. The location is very accessible, just off the highway exit. Recommended for those looking for fast service, a clean environment, and professional staff.

04/10/2025: We went for dinner and ordered pizzas. Very good, both in terms of dough and ingredients. The place is simple and very large, with both indoor and outdoor dining. We sat outside (it being August), enjoying the fresh air and the wonderful feeling of having the sea just steps away. The terrace, with its soft atmosphere, overlooks the beach. In short, a great combination of pizza and a terrace overlooking the sea 👍🏻

The owner, Claudio, a young and professional man, always met our every request with kindness and availability. And there were a lot of us.
