03/05/2025: Delicious pizza and sandwich! Very kind staff. After I accidentally spilled my drink on part of my pizza, I asked the waiter if he could kindly bring me an empty plate to replace it, in response I received a new pizza, complimented by the owner.🍕

11/06/2025: Beautiful experience at the restaurant 'Al mulino'. Starting from the appetizer, in which you could taste the real home-made flavors, modest price and slightly abundant portion. For the First Course, we chose Rigatoni alla Giancaleone, a local dish, delicious and abundant, and Rigatoni alla Nduja and Black Pig, tasty and spicy! The service was excellent, despite being a family-run restaurant, as you can see, the professionalism was there from start to finish. Definitely a place that deserves a visit, perhaps a little 'out of the way', but it's worth it. We will return.

06/07/2025: On Saturdays, as in all of Italy, dinner is served at a restaurant. At Giardino this news did not arrive given the TOTAL unpreparedness of the dining room and kitchen staff. Reservation at 9 pm. Table for 15 people. (arrived at the restaurant at 9.05 pm). Delivery of menus to order at 10 pm. Pizzas at the table served at 11 pm. Terrible welcome and unfriendly manners (air conditioning leaked condensation on the guests). I wonder if catering is really for them. Ps I do not want to be harsh on the quality of the pizza. NOT RECOMMENDED. NEVER AGAIN.

08/06/2025: We really had a wonderful evening. The seafood appetizer was super fresh and impeccably prepared, the linguine alla pescatora was rich in fish and enchanted our palate....you have to try the pizza because it is delicious. The strawberry cake with ice cream...their desserts...everything is spectacular. I can't say anything about the service...everyone was very kind...the owner is truly an exceptional person. Try it to believe it

06/03/2025: I had booked a table for 2 with the fork and the reservation had been accepted. 30 minutes before the scheduled time I received the notification of the cancellation of the reservation. That's not correct, not half an hour earlier. I tried calling the number but there was no answer. If a person organizes themselves in one way and in the end receives treatment like this I don't find it correct. I'm sorry but that's not how it's done. In this way I was forced to act differently with the little time available (it was already 9/3pm at the time of the notification). And it wasn't even possible to speak on the phone to understand the reasons for the cancellation. I really don't know what to say

14/05/2025: The place is warm and welcoming, the staff is kind and helpful. The only sore point is the toilets, which would need more attention and cleaning to be up to par with the rest of the place. As for the food, the quality was decent. Considering the final bill, we expected something more in terms of quality and quantity.

01/05/2025: Today is a holiday and most restaurants are closed. We were just passing by and wanted to eat! This restaurant has low ratings, but it was open. And we are happy!, this is the best restaurant during these three days of our stay in Italy (Naples, Matera..). Excellent service, high quality products and expertly prepared. The price is absolutely reasonable. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to take a photo.. The food was served in a high-class restaurant. Thank you and prosperity to you!

23/04/2025: We ate on Easter Monday, the dishes were poor and not of high quality, the wine was paid for separately from the menu, except that the waiter at the beginning only asked us if we preferred red or white wine, so do you think they will have included it in the menu? Instead, in the end we paid €24 for the bottle without being asked to make a choice, and then we asked for an orange soda and they didn't have any. All in all, very disappointing, you sum it up.

01/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato presso l'Agriturismo da Clara il giorno di Pasquetta e sin da subito ci ha piacevolmente coinvolto l'atmosfera familiare e l'ambiente tranquillo. L'esterno presenta un'ampia zona verde, con possibilità di parcheggio e con un angolo giochi, per i più piccoli tra altalena e scivolo. All'interno ambiente semplice ma, curato in cui godere dell'accoglienza e gentilezza della Sig.ra Clara e di tutto lo staff. I piatti per lo più del territorio, sono abbondanti e genuini. Molto buoni gli antipasti ed i secondi di carne, ottimi gli amari a fine pasto. Che dire, consigliato per trascorrere ore piacevoli in un ambiente sereno e familiare. Lo staff è attento alle esigenze del cliente e lo ringraziamo per aver soddisfatto le richieste aggiuntive, anche per la nostra piccola nipotina. Ritorneremo con piacere.

22/04/2025: Esperienza magnifica. Abbiamo trovato questo agriturismo per caso e siamo contenti di aver pranzato in questo posto. Ottimo cibo, porzioni abbondanti e gustose. Piatti tradizionali, semplici e fatti bene. Sicuramente torneremo. Ottimo rapporto qualità- prezzo. Anche il personale è cortese: la Signora Clara, proprietaria, è molto gentile. Altrettanto i suoi collaboratori: disponibili e cordiali.

04/05/2025: Zeker één van de beste restaurants in Scalea. Gelegen op een sfeervol pleintje in het oude centrum. Beperkte menukaart maar meestal staat dit borg voor verse en kwaliteitsvolle producten én dat bleek ook zo te zijn. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Een topervaring.

26/04/2025: Posto finora perfetto stasera tanta delusione. 2 paccheri all astice 70€ ove in questi non c era nessun connubio. Non è una questione economica ma solamente pura mancanza di combinazione culinaria/soporifera. Non so se tornerò x dare un ulteriore chance. Saluti e buona vita

Honest prices, accessible to all, and a service that works: fast, smart, friendly. How can I forget Giovanna, a historic waitress, who every year I meet again with her usual smile. Seeing her is like coming home. And then there is that unique atmosphere, the one that only a place with years of history can have. From 6 pm until late at night, especially in the summer, this pub is a safe haven even in the most desperate moments of nighttime hunger – word of my daughter, who goes out with friends and knows she can always count on that good, fast, and humanely priced sandwich. Every time I return to Scalea, it is a fixed stop. And every time, it is as if time stops for a moment. Because there are places that are not forgotten. And people like Peppino who make these places unforgettable.

08/05/2025: We stayed with our family over the long weekend of April 25th, the food wasn't the best, as was the staff who aren't very attentive to needs, at most it might be good for kids because it has lower prices than other places

16/06/2025: We took 3 trays of pizza all topped plus eight portions of potatoes and it was a blow to the head, for my personal taste the pizzas were not great... Disappointed and very expensive

06/05/2025: Bad service, they charged us 11.50 euros for a Coca-Cola and some fries, they brought us plastic cups just like that and we had to ask them to bring us napkins because they hadn't even brought that. He charged us 4 euros for a cover that did not appear anywhere and on top of that he was angry about what we ordered (hoping that we would order more, or I don't know what they expect, that we would order whatever they want.)
