13/07/2025: We had a wonderful time 🤙🤙🤙 the Byzantine appetizer, besides being something spectacular, was also super abundant and for the first course we had scialatielli with buffalo mozzarella, nduja and taralli and another first course with aubergines and pizzas, all delicious

08/07/2025: A really nice atmosphere. We arrived three minutes before and were told to wait, so I recommend arriving a few minutes after opening. The food was delicious. Communication in English is spotty, but you can manage that with a translator on your phone.

12/07/2025: Lobster (lobster) with pasta and tomato sauce, a marvel! As a nutritionist, I asked with minimal oil, which they followed. It is enough to ask and insist, if necessary, when restaurateurs do not always understand why. I sometimes take the time to explain that my diet is carbohydrate-protein but fat-free. Not easy to get this principle to be accepted, in the country of olive oil... It was, however, really succulent. Spices release aromas, which do not require oil. I really licked my ass, according to the established expression. My fingers were full... for a dish at only 25 euros! The (magic) lobster with pasta and tomato, a wonder! As a nutritionist, I asked for it with minimal oil, and they respected the rule. Just ask and insist, if necessary, when restaurateurs don't always understand why. Sometimes I take the trouble to explain that my diet is based on carbohydrates and proteins, but without fats. It is not easy to accept this principle, in the land of olive oil... But it was really succulent. Spices release aromas that do not require oil. I licked my mustache, as they say. I had my fingers covered... for a dish for only 25 euros!

03/08/2025: We had a delightful 2 week stay at Exil di Nuovo. I would love to go back there and just stay forever! Giovanni, Angelo, and the entire Exil family are truly amazing and I miss them terribly since I am back in the USA. The rooms are lovely, very clean, and air conditioned with comfortable beds. There are wonderful amenities such as WiFi, mini fridge, and balcony. The food is absolutely spectacular!! I was so impressed with the freshness and beauty of each plate of food we were served. I definitely had some of the best food of my life while at Exil! The pasta with garlic sauce and chili oil was amazing in its simplicity and there was a roasted chicken dish that had unimaginable depth of flavor! Wow! The grounds at the hotel are beautifully kept; verdant with fruit, herbs, and flowers. The pool and lounge chairs are perfect for a relaxing afternoon! I loved sitting in the shade of the glorious grape vines and olive tree. I’m so sad that I will miss olive harvesting season, which Giovanni taught me, will be in October. Exil di Nuovo is situated a short walk from the beautiful beach and pleasant shops! My daughter was a student at the Fini Dance Studio just a block away during the Summer Dance Festival, and she had such a wonderful time! We were truly blessed to be able to visit Villapiana and to get to stay at the most welcoming place we have ever been, the Exil di Nuovo. I fervently hope to go back there someday. Much love to our friends at Exil and to Villapiana!!

31/07/2025: Great atmosphere. Seafood restaurant. Pizza only on Saturdays and Sundays. Prices for fish are medium/high. But it's good and well-cooked.

28/07/2025: We entered the restaurant and ordered a mix of hot and cold appetizers, and we knew right away that we'd leave super satisfied! After the appetizers, we ordered two first courses, each one better than the last. The owner, Angelo, is a wonderful person, very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

24/04/2025: Pasquetta 2025, un anno dopo si torna con amici in questo locale dopo la positiva esperienza del 2024. Le aspettative sono alte, purtroppo livello e qualità della ristorazione e dei servizi mostrano una fortissima flessione rispetto al passato. Se la location resta sempre curata ed elegante, tanti i passi indietro che sono stati fatti dal punto di vista dell'offerta enogastronomica. Partiamo dall' aperitivo di benvenuto davvero scarso sia in quantità che qualità (appena tre tipi di tartine dal gusto mediocre e fritti insufficienti rispetto al numero degli ospiti). Poi il pranzo, un vero disastro. Tempi lunghissimi per il servizio ai tavoli con pochi volenterosi camerieri, del tutto insufficienti per le sale piene all'inverosimile, mentre in altra ala della struttura c'è pure un ulteriore evento. L'antipasto è appena accettabile, il primo piatto (pasta fresca da discount condita con sugo alla salsiccia) servito dopo più di un'ora è mediocre, mentre il formaggio grattugiato arriva ai tavoli col contagocce e dopo molteplici richieste. Altra ora d'attesa ed è il momento dei secondi. La fettina di carne arrosto è servita congelata ai tavoli ed è stopposa. Buono invece l'agnello al forno. Avere il pane ai tavoli è un'impresa, così come il ricambio delle bottiglie d'acqua. Il vino rosato è mediocre. Dopo tre interminabili ore a tavola, arrivano il buffet dei dolci e l'angolo gelato, che lasciano delusi. Tutto di mediocre qualità. Insomma una Pasquetta molto negativa, al modico prezzo di 45 euro a persona. La bella location e la vivace animazione non bastano a salvare una giornata da dimenticare. Andiamo via senza neppure aspettare la chiusura della giornata di festa. Conclusione: per gestire i grandi numeri di utenza bisogna attrezzarsi, si rischia di sbagliare alla grande nel servizio. Se si punta solo all'incasso senza garantire la qualità si perdono solo clienti.

14/07/2025: ...ask for Isaia and he'll give you great advice...everything is carefully prepared with authentic flavors and excellent products...I recommend the cheeses, pizzas, and amazing ice creams. Very clean place with convenient parking and both indoor and outdoor tables. Dachshunds welcome.

12/07/2025: A simple place, as befits a farmhouse, but as is sometimes the case, fortunately, it's the content that truly matters, not the packaging. Without too much frills and frills, the courtesy of the staff and the genuine products leave you with a wonderful memory and the desire to return.

L'ambiente piccolo ed accogliente ci ha fatto sentire a casa, così come l'ottimo cibo mangiato! Francesco, il titolare, ci ha accolti come persone di famiglia. Lo consigliamo! 13/07/2025: We had dinner at this magnificent establishment! Attention to detail, attentive, kind, and helpful staff! Not to mention the dishes! Amazing, authentic, top-quality flavors! You could tell the fish was fresh and not frozen at all! I would return to this place a thousand times! Unmatched value for money! I recommend everyone to stop by this marvel to taste some real delicacies!

I was happy but then a waiter offered me the ice cream of Pizzo Calabro there are three flavors pistachio chocolate and white chocolate ... ok the chocolate is fine ... served tasted and it was hazelnut ... I look but mine was chocolate I am allergic to hazelnut ... having said that they did not want to know the moral of the story for them that was the chocolate and they made me pay for that uneaten dessert !!!! In the end it was the third time I went there but I will not go there again ... now they will answer me and we will come to terms with it !!! ok and deal with it !!

05/06/2025: Terrible, I had booked for 9:30 pm, my girlfriend and I, we entered there was no one at the cash register, in fact the employees were at the next table drinking during the service, this was because they had no customers. We asked and they didn't even give us a word. I will never go there again.
