10/07/2025: Recommended by a local friend, simply delicious! We started with an endless mixed antipasto platter featuring local products, samples of cured meats, cheeses, meatballs, pork rolls, croquettes, and more. For our first course, we had tagliatelle with cod and crusco peppers, a highly recommended dish. For dessert, we had fried mezzelune (half-moons) filled with ricotta and cinnamon, simple and delicious. The waiter Mario was very friendly and approachable, and was always available throughout the meal. I also got to know the chef Giacomo, who recommended dishes for us to order; he was also very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy the view, this is the perfect spot. P.S. As for seating, I recommend the terrace, with a stunning view.

The setting is a fantastic blend of the tranquility of a mountain cabin and the fresh air and views of the countryside around San Donato di Ninea, whose historic center is just a short distance away. The family-run business adds a great value to the experience itself and helps you explore the local cuisine, which offers a wide variety and quality.

03/08/2025: We stayed at the Tenuta Contessa SPA and Hotel to break up the drive to Sicily. The hotel is beautiful, with gorgeous rooms, and the spa is large and well-equipped. In the evening, we ate at the restaurant, which served simple but excellent cuisine with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. All the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, always available to help, making you feel at home. It's an experience worth repeating and never forgetting.

16/07/2025: A small hotel surrounded by greenery. Roberto's hospitality is unparalleled, and the breakfasts, all homemade, are excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel overlooks the greenery and is very close to all the amenities of Laino Borgo. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway and a sense of well-being.

30/06/2025: We chose this enchanting place as the location for our wedding. The staff is professional and qualified. Ester, the owner, is very careful in managing and taking care of every aspect of the wedding from planning to realization. The menu is exquisite, the appetizer buffet and the fruit and dessert buffet are very rich and presented in a refined way. The setting of the room is fairytale and the gardens are dreamlike. We couldn't have chosen better, we will definitely return for other events.

The atmosphere was truly special: everything was family-run, and the food was exceptional, all prepared with their own locally sourced produce. During our stay, we participated in the agriturismo's organized activities, such as rafting and an adventure park. An authentic place, surrounded by nature, with good food and a warm welcome. 29/07/2025: After several attempts (once it was our fault, other times it was always packed), we finally managed to spend an evening at Ammasciata. We'd heard good things about it and were eager to try it. Let's start by saying that we enjoy Neapolitan pizza every once in a while, but when we decide to try it, it has to be high-quality and well-made, and Ammasciata's pizza has all of that. It's clear there's commitment, research, and a desire to please the customer, and this is a credit to the owner and pizza chef Luca, who is passionate about his work. To think that only when we happen to eat in Naples do we seek out Neapolitan pizza. The service was good, and the bill was excellent. Keep up the good work. Returning after some time, I stand by my previous review. They remain top-notch.

14/07/2025: I had a pleasant evening with my family, starting with a pizza tasting. My choice was excellent (three onions on tuna), a perfect combination with a delicate flavor that perfectly balanced the salty and sweet notes of the caramelized onions. My wife opted for the classic (Margherita), which she thoroughly enjoyed. My daughter, on the other hand, chose the crocche' pizza, beautifully presented with two beautiful crocche' on top. The crocche' were delicious, but she was a bit critical of the spit, which was a bit salty. I paired my pizzas with a spectacular Paulaner on tap, while the women had water served elegantly in glasses. After the pizza, we sampled a selection of desserts, all excellent (warm chocolate tart, pistachio and black cherry mousse, and cheesecake). I ended the evening with some bitters, which met my requests. I also compliment the girls serving the tables for their kindness, and I compliment whoever created all this, offering something special for our beautiful village. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try something different from the usual classic pizzas and pizzerias.
