03/09/2025: My wife and I vacationed in Calabria and chose to stay at the Popilia Resort, unfortunately only for one night. The location is wonderful, immersed in nature and offering complete relaxation. You can go for bike rides, long walks, or visit the gardens, lake, and animals.
It's ideal for families, couples, and everyone. The pool is beautiful, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the entire restaurant menu are fantastic.

31/08/2025: Beautiful location, spacious and airy. The pool is nice, but there was a children's party in the afternoon, so it was a bit crowded: no relaxation! Be careful, ask first. Excellent food, extremely kind from the owner and his wife, who put so much passion and care into their work. The rooms are top-notch, very beautiful and large with all the comforts.

19/08/2025: I went to Dune Buggy for a seafood dinner with a group of friends. The fish was truly fresh and high-quality, impeccably prepared, and the service was very prompt. They also have an outdoor pizza oven, as well as an inside pizza oven. We'll definitely be back to try it!

16/08/2025: Awesome experience! We arrived on the evening of August 15th in a tent. They welcomed us warmly and helpfully, even though they were still busy with the August 15th lunch. They offered us an excellent aperitif with 'nduja and wine. The dinner was excellent, with home-made flavors and friendly service. The tent/camper area is spacious and quiet, and has all the amenities you need. Highly recommended!

Sometimes on a Saturday night you like to be surprised: too bad, everything was discounted... not with the prices, though, which were completely normal.
09/09/2025: A lovely spot in the countryside, with a young, helpful staff. Delicious first courses and traditional Calabrian dishes, though some concerns about the barbecue meat.

04/07/2025: A beautiful family-run restaurant with over 70 years of history!
We had a wonderful experience at Scilla — it was our first time, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Giuseppe, the son of the family business, served us with such kindness and professionalism. Five-star service all the way!
The restaurant is very kid-friendly, and everything on the menu is delicious, especially the filetto allo scoglio, which we highly recommend. Thank you for the amazing experience!
03/07/2025: Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The food was poorly seasoned, and the fish was completely dry. It was the worst meal we've had in two weeks in Calabria. We prefer al dente, but the pasta from the primo was almost raw and barely chewable. The service was friendly. However, my husband had barely put down his fork and I was still eating when the plate was taken away.

21/08/2025: We ordered a platter, which arrived after half an hour, and two first courses (which, in reality, was only one large one). Overall, not bad, neither good nor bad.
15/08/2025: A traditional, well-run trattoria, right in the center but not disturbed by the chaos. We ate a delicious gluten-free fried dish, rich and filling. The Calabrian shepherd's pasta is simply fantastic, highly recommended. All the flavors in the dish are distinct and harmonious. The 'mpacchiuse' potatoes are a must-try! Congratulations!
