01/07/2025: Could not have asked for a better burger at a fair price and so convenient to the train station and my hotel. I got the beef, with cheese and bacon and pesto with fresh tomatoes on a ciabatta roll, Fries and a drink. The burger was big enough to share. The fries were perfect and the drink was cold. They were polite and tolerated my English and had menus available in multiple languages if needed. The wait was quick and just perfect. I highly recommend.

02/03/2025: Good quality delicatessen and sandwich shop with locally produced products, the sandwich with sausage and turnip tops is very popular. Friendly staff attentive to customer needs.

06/02/2025: When we arrived we were greeted with kindness, a varied menu and super quality products, the order arrived after 5 minutes and in the meantime we could sit outside in the relaxation of the Sila air!

03/07/2025: Matrimonio di mia figlia. Un luogo che si affaccia sullo splendido mare di Pizzo. Dalla terrazza, molto curata, abbiamo goduto di un tramonto sul mare spettacolare. Servixio e qualità del cibo di altissimo livello.

14/07/2025: Clean and welcoming place, located in the open countryside where you can spend a peaceful evening. The waiters were very kind, polite and above all welcoming. The dinner was delicious, from the starter to the first and second courses. I tried the new menu, the dishes were beautiful, I recommend them, they are delicious, 10 out of 10.

14/07/2025: The food was excellent; there wasn't a thing I didn't like. The service was equally as good; the staff were there, attentive but not intrusive... always friendly. Kudos to the organization and timing of the dishes; everything was perfect. I highly recommend trying it to believe it. The flavors were delicious and the ingredients were of high quality. Kudos to the chef and all the staff.

06/06/2025: Amazing! Professionalism, competence, cordiality and kindness distinguish the Popilia Country Resort. Last weekend with my sister-in-law we took advantage of all the services: impeccable! An unforgettable sensory experience. A round of applause to all the staff (receptionist, spa, restaurant and cleaning). Immersed in nature with a fabulous view. This is the Calabria that we like and are proud of. Highly recommended!

24/06/2025: Sincerely the BEST pizza I have ever had in the world. This is not an exaggeration by any means. I’m sorry I have no photos to share, but let me explain. When the pizzas arrived, they looked like works of art. Everyone at the table experienced a moment of awe, then they were eaten and gone before we knew it! The service was impeccable and the ambiance was perfect with nice seating and a beautiful view. We will be returning and I will post photos. You have to see and taste to believe!

Excellent pizza with a truly light and delicious dough, fresh ingredients, and impeccable service. I highly recommend Campano's. You'll eat excellent pizza and be welcomed like a longtime customer.

The real highlight is the quality of the raw materials: the freshest fish, caught every day, and the ingredients enhance the flavors of the Calabrian territory in every dish. Added to this is an impeccable service and the professionalism of the staff, always attentive and prepared, ready to give you the best advice and make your experience even more enjoyable. No less important is the price where the quality-price ratio is excellent, allowing you to enjoy specialties prepared with care, without spending a fortune. Our example was: for the price of €60 we were able to enjoy 10 courses of seafood appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 fried food, 2 bottles of water, 1 can of Coke and 2 coffees. The only small flaw is the (legitimate) impossibility of banning dogs.

01/06/2025: lunch at the Al Castagneto restaurant for Easter Monday was a truly excellent culinary experience. The house appetizer was plentiful and carefully prepared: excellent quality cured meats, tasty cheeses, a soft and tasty omelette, well-seasoned olives and pickles. Each element on the plate was fresh and well-matched, with authentic and typical flavors of the Calabrian tradition. The service was friendly and the environment welcoming. A perfect start to a rich and satisfying menu. Absolutely recommended for those who want to experience true Italian cuisine with taste and authenticity.

30/03/2025: Just ate. Canadian tourists. Real review. Came in off-season. Very quiet. Mostly take out this time of year. Had 2 mixed salads, calamari platter, capricciosa pizza, and pistachio ice cream plus 3 beer with dinner. Total for 2 of us under 55 euros. End result?.... Our minds are totally blown. Best food, especially the calamari and pizza I've had in my entire life, after traveling the world at age 65. I don't do "reviews," but this place was so fantastic. I made an exception just for you out reading this and as a show of appreciation to this restaurant. Lifelong memory made here for us.
