12/09/2025: What can I say...fantastic! This restaurant was recommended to us, and we wanted to end our Calabrian stay on a high note by eating traditional dishes...well, they gave us excellent advice. It's a beautiful place, a very rustic tavern. Just looking at the table setting, you could tell it would be a success...beautiful, rustic. The staff were incredibly kind, and the menu was delicious, featuring traditional ingredients and generous portions. And finally...the price was excellent, we don't drink wine...appetizer, first course, second course, dessert...€25 each...highly recommended. They also do pizza, but unfortunately it was our last night...maybe there'll be another chance.

10/09/2025: We had dinner there a week ago and I highly recommend it. Good, fresh food, typical Calabrian dishes well-prepared and presented in their simplest form. The location is quaint, being an old mill, so I'd remove a few ornaments, paintings, altars, etc., as it doesn't need them. My only suggestion to the owner, who is very kind, is to clarify the prices of the dishes on the menu; it's hard to tell the price of each individual dish! Otherwise, everything is exceptional!

25/08/2025: The owner is very kind. The appetizer was simply exquisite: truffle fondue, followed by a delicious porcini mushroom and truffle risotto. The meat was good, but for the main course, I recommend the delicious grilled porcini mushrooms.

26/08/2025: It's like eating at your grandmother's, Mrs. Graziella is a kind lady and she cares about making you eat good, homemade, Sunday-style food, it makes you remember when you ate at your grandmother's as a child, simple foods, oil, water, wine, there is no menu to follow but Graziella knows what to make you taste, it's the rustic place par excellence, like home.

11/07/2025: My wife and I went on Friday, July 11th, and were served by a rude and racist waitress who seated us at the bar in the restaurant, which was 70 percent full. She also refused to let us bring a pizza. It's a shame that an employee like that would ruin the place.

15/08/2025: Wonderful! There is no other adjective to describe our stay at Villa Garden! We already knew the property having visited for 2 years in a row in 2016 and 2017, but today, after many years, we returned with our 1-year-old child and it was a fairytale stay! The welcome of Dario and Samantha and the culinary specialties of Vincenzo did nothing but pamper us for every day of our holiday! All framed by a well-kept place, by the ever-green flowerbeds and by the always perfect and clean swimming pool! We left a piece of our heart there once again. I hope to return next year too! 05/09/2025: From Malpensa to Sant'Elia on vacation, and then looking for the best aperitivo bar in Reggio, we came across this place. Well done! Superb, well-trained and professional staff, excellent cocktails and an excellent aperitivo, or rather aperitivo dinner. Congratulations on creating a very special corner of the city of Reggio Calabria. We'd love to get 5 stars with honors, but they're not there... We'll definitely be back!

19/08/2025: Very nice, large venue with ample parking, well-managed, and well-organized interiors. The menu offers a wide selection of meat, fish, and pizza, with special attention paid to vegan and vegetarian options, a popular modern approach. The service is very friendly and professional (a table next to mine had constant requests, and they were always ready to accommodate). Good food, made with carefully selected ingredients. Prices are reasonable for the service provided.

17/08/2025: A truly wonderful experience! Spacious location with plenty of seating. Even though the place was packed, the service was very fast and the pizza was truly excellent, with a light dough and high-quality ingredients! The staff was very attentive and friendly. 5 stars well deserved! We'll definitely be back.
