I believe that the success of this business (which I hope will remain proudly Italian from generation to generation) is due to the simplicity of management. In fact, although it distributes its products in many countries around the world, it remains a factory with an ancient and therefore fascinating flavor.

18/07/2024: A 300-year-old historic company that if you pass through this area of ​​Calabria you cannot miss visiting. We purchased the ticket online with hourly reservation, delighted with specialties featuring liquorice, from coffee to ice cream!!! The guide explained the entire history of the Amarelli family to us perfectly... the visit lasts about 40 minutes, recommended...

10/08/2024: Location in a strategic area near the airport. Stopped for lunch, I had octopus salad (good) and spaghetti with anchovies (failed). The guys who serve are very kind and the place is very welcoming and well-kept. Good value for money all in all. The real problem is the timing, half an hour for the pasta, so much so that I thought they had forgotten to order. The somewhat resentful restaurateur told me that they prepare everything at the moment and therefore these are the technical times. Maybe, but my pasta was also overcooked and the sauce too watery... If you don't have time problems go there, still worth a try.

11/04/2024: Located in the middle of nature with a panoramic view of the valley of the two seas. Suggestive stone-faced room with fireplace, you are projected into the past and traditions. We went there for dinner, the proposal of the day consisting of an appetizer with local cold cuts and cheeses, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and braised meat. The quality of the food is exceptional as is the wine. An experience not to be missed and to be repeated.

13/08/2024: I went for dinner with a group of friends and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The food was of poor quality, with flavors that left a bad taste in the mouth, giving the impression that many dishes were prepared with packaged products. Don't be fooled by the quantity of the dishes: the quantity does not compensate for the lack of freshness and authenticity. Furthermore, the house wine was mediocre, so much so that it further ruined the atmosphere. Paying €35 per person for such an unsatisfactory meal was a real waste, especially considering the competition from other agritourisms in the area that offer much more at similar prices. Finally, compared to the other tables, we were not served fruit or dessert. I strongly advise against it.

10/08/2024: I only went there once with my daughters and we ordered little food, but what we ate was excellent. What we certainly liked most was the dreamlike bucolic setting, while what we liked least was the bill, but that's okay!

27/08/2024: Con una parola potrei tranquillamente descrivere la serata,eccellente ! Riscoperta di sapori nuovi,carni e salumi dal sapore deciso e di alta qualità.. Servizio impeccabile attenti al cliente in tutto e per tutto super disponibili nel consigliare la scoperta di nuovi sapori quali cuberoil australiano che fino a qualche sera fa mai assaggiato, mi ha sorpreso piacevolmente. Potrei dire con tutta franchezza che la padrona di casa è la regina indiscussa della cordialità, attenzione al cliente ma sopratutto del buon cibo servito.. Esperienza consiglitissima. Ritorneremo!

Their choice of barbecue is free of pork and in particular of Calabrian sausage and sopressata... alas absent.... however, the choice of venue must be respected which, often, does not match the customer's tastes... ....the chemist's explanation for the use of salts in plain sight is very useful

14/08/2024: If I could select 10 stars I would. Let's start by thanking the owner and the dining room staff, we returned after 3 days and they remembered where we were sitting and what we had ordered. The menu consists only of fresh fish which varies according to the catch of the day. (Note: during the evening some dishes may run out so I recommend pre-ordering by telephone if there is a dish you absolutely want to try!) Mussels peppered: the best I've ever eaten! First courses are all excellent, I'll mention my favourite: crazy lobster and lemon tagliatelle! Excellent local wines. Chef (owner) who passes between the tables at the end of the evening to introduce himself and collect customer feedback. We will always return with joy.

09/08/2024: Excellent food, helpful and kind staff, I give 4 stars and not 5 only and exclusively for the temperature, even though the air conditioners were on it was 30 degrees and while we were eating we basically took a sauna, probably because of the veranda with PVC etc. which creates a greenhouse effect, it is also true that it is a period where we have prohibitive temperatures

14/07/2024: Really pleasant place. Fantastic meat and a truly well-stocked cellar. The pinsa was also excellent and the rest of the menu was really interesting. I've been back several times. I highly recommend it. Very friendly and competent owner.
