21/03/2026: We opted for sushi, which was very good and well-stocked. It was a shame that the hot center was overcooked. Otherwise, the place is well-organized, and the wide selection of pizza, sushi, and grilled food doesn't create confusion or odors. It also has a lovely covered terrace.

22/11/2025: The food was excellent, and the price was also good, but the service wasn't exactly excellent. On both our first and second orders, several dishes we ordered didn't arrive, and we had to ask the waiters several times to bring them (which they didn't do). Furthermore, three times we received dishes we never ordered.
This means that the order taker isn't paying attention.
We asked for dishes we ordered for the fifth time, and nothing was brought. Since you pay, it's fair to get what you want.

20/09/2025: A very refined, modern, and welcoming venue, ideal for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The menu is extensive and varied: traditional sushi as well as many creative and fusion options, all prepared with the freshest fish and quality ingredients.
The service is fast, and the staff is always friendly and available to offer advice. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely one of the best sushi spots in Catanzaro, highly recommended!

I arrived there by chance and felt welcomed as if I were with friends I already knew because the atmosphere provides that – simplicity in the way you are received, but with glamour, great drinks, cheerful music, a feeling of freedom that makes you not want to leave!! I can't wait to go back.
25/09/2025: We didn't even wait a minute for a table, they were very efficient! The place was so pleasant and quiet that it even seemed closed.

21/04/2025: Basho is a true gem. Over the years, we've returned several times, never disappointed. We have, however, noticed a significant improvement.
From the moment we walked in to the bill, every detail is attended to with a passion and professionalism that is clearly evident.
The place is welcoming, with a refined atmosphere, but the real added value lies in the people.
Special thanks to Mattia's impeccable management, who knows how to combine expertise and customer service in a rare way. It's clear how much he cares, and that truly makes the difference.
Kudos also to Giovanni, professional, friendly, and attentive: his service was simply perfect, always present but never intrusive, with a courtesy that deserves to be highlighted.
The menu is refined, with the freshest ingredients.
We will return every time we return to Cosenza.

Sushi-ii Lamezia

04/01/2026: Like many of my generation, I discovered sushi through all-you-can-eat restaurants, but over time I've become a fan of à la carte restaurants. When you can, spending a little more for quality and attention to detail almost always pays off. Sushi-ii was further confirmation of this idea: the quality here is truly high, and the attention to detail is evident both on the palate and the eye.
The 20-piece takeout box I ordered and the two tuna tartares were perfect. The tartares, in particular, impressed me: the ultra-fresh fish, cut into thick bites, highlighted the texture and quality of the raw material. The combinations are also interesting, in which ingredients uncommon in Japanese tradition—like caramelized onion or almond—add a Mediterranean touch that seems to recur in other dishes on the menu.
Tommaso's welcome was a plus: it made the wait pleasant and allowed me to linger over various details of the place, whose relaxed atmosphere is crafted with elegant sobriety. For a moment, I almost changed my mind about taking out—but perhaps that's for the best: I have one more reason to return and be surprised.

13/05/2025: We went for lunch and after eating for almost half an hour at the annex outside, we had to flee due to a swarm of mosquitoes that literally ate us alive. I think pest control and the addition of plants to deter insects are necessary.

Non mi era mai capitato di non riuscire a ingoiare del sushi. il pesce aveva un forte odore di ammoniaca.il sapore incommentabile.
