Ristorante Gli Osti... Nati In Fiumefreddo bruzio

We had lunch here on our drive north from Sicily. We stopped here because the menu looked interesting and different. But I think the chef is trying too hard to be different. We felt that too many things were going on with each dish. Also, octopus was tough and dry. I now realize that I love Italian food in its simplicity - a few good ingredients cooked to perfection. Bean sprouts on top of our pasta dishes did not work for us... Service was warm and gracious.

It's always nice to go back to eat at the obstinate, everything was excellent, in fact excellent.

You just have to try it. The staff is uniquely kind. The food is spectacular and has a unique flavour. It's a shame to eat them, they're paintings

There is a wide choice of well-composed appetizers. In particular, the “trio of Mediterranean flavours” caught my attention. Everything turned out to be very tasty, although perhaps a little salty. The restaurant does not reflect the modern dishes they serve and could be better looked after aesthetically.

Piccolo ma accogliente e curato.

Abbiamo cenato in 6 portati da un amico che aveva mangiato presso questo ristorante spesso . La cortesia e la disponibilità della signora proprietaria unica nella sua gentilezza, e la maestria del marito chef Giuseppe nel cucinare ed impiattare il pesce in ogni modo .ci siamo accomodati alle 21 e per circa 1 ora e mezza abbiamo gustato il percorso OSTInati che definire una serie di antipasti sarebbe riduttivo Pesce freschissimo ,sapori sublimi dallo spada marinato con noci e gocce di mango strapolate dalla cucina molecolare ,tonno con cipolla di tropea, moscardini serviti a mo di cacciucco con le fettine di pane tostato,il baccalà fritto servito sulla purea di patate, l'involucro di alici fritte ,una serie di piccole fritture di paranza, e poi giusto per gradire fettuccine fresche al gambero rosso e pistacchio e dulcis in fundo una grigliata di scampi e gambero rosso senza eguali .
