29/07/2025: I sapori tradizionali esaltati in una location piccola ma affascinante, nel cuore del centro storico di Rossano. Torno, a distanza di due anni, e confermo il giudizio ampiamente positivo della prima esperienza. Servizio premuroso in sala, menu corto di alta qualità ben esposto sulla lavagnetta all'ingresso, discreta cantina, prezzi onesti. Si sta veramente bene qui. La signora Achiropita è una "padrona di casa" impeccabile, pronta a consigliare per il meglio. Ottimo l'antipasto caldo freddo (da segnalare ancora una volta gli ortaggi al pane profumato con aglio e menta, la sardella da spalmare sul pane e le eccellenti polpette di melanzane), da urlo le alici "scattiate" in padella con pepe dolce, molto buona la pasta con le acciughe. Gustosi cantuccini e i bocconotti. Si va via con la certezza di aver trascorso un paio d'ore di relax, assaggiando piatti ben preparati, con ingredienti di qualità, spendendo il giusto. Continuate così.

17/07/2025: Excellent food, pleasant conversation with the hostess. All the dishes were noteworthy. Not like many restaurants where they only serve bland food. A pleasant discovery in this country. A positive note on our trip to Calabria.

04/09/2025: What can I say? While I was looking for a place to eat fish and chips because my partner is English, I stumbled upon this little gem. The place is delightful, the music is great, the food is delicious, and the food is truly beautifully presented. Mediterranean flavors revisited in an innovative way. A wonderful surprise. We come to Catanzaro every year, and we'll definitely be back; it'll be one of our favorite destinations. Thank you so much!

05/08/2025: A very cute, well-kept, and welcoming place, featuring sea green hues with a tropical touch. The warm, original lighting is beautiful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food is excellent. You can choose from a variety of meat, fish, and even vegetarian/vegan dishes, with special attention paid to celiacs. The dishes are carefully prepared. We had three appetizers: paprika potatoes, savory zeppole, and vegetarian tacos, followed by a special rosti with beets and pumpkin seeds and a vegetarian bagel. There were also several fish and meat options. We drank two craft beers and an excellent local amaro (Amaro dell'Eremita). The service was quick and attentive. It was an excellent dinner in a very charming place. The price was fair for what we ate.

01/09/2025: We've been on vacation since yesterday morning and we've already been here twice, yesterday for lunch, today for dinner... what can I say, I think it will be my favorite restaurant of the holidays 😁 Just for the politeness, kindness, courtesy and helpfulness of the guys I give the best, the top location, the food? There is no comparison, not even in the best grill restaurants I've eaten such good and tender meat. I highly recommend stopping here if you come to Diamante.

12/09/2025: Everything is so good... Top quality.... I don't recommend it, but more. I go often and they never disappoint me, it feels like family. Today with the Ovuli pasta they outdid themselves... I always find the quality of the products to be very high, and very importantly, the prices are more than in line with many other hypothetical restaurants. In my opinion, for the quality they serve, their prices are even a notch lower than what's around.... Fabio, Uncle Silvio, and the entire dining room and kitchen team are tops.... But don't tell anyone... I risk not finding a seat.... I'm kidding.... There's also a huge, very cool dining room in the basement.... Try it and then tell me....

30/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato in famiglia, prenotando alle 20, e potendo godere di un tramonto stupendo con lo Stromboli all'orizzonte. Nel giardino sulla terrazza tavoli tondi, ampi, comodi, molto spazio, ambiente accogliente. Ma più di tutto abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, piatti perfetti, gustosi e ben presentati. Consigliatissimi gli spaghetti alle alici, gli spaghetti cozze e vongole, la carbonara di mare. Ottimo il polpo per antipasto. Fritto misto buono ma un po' scarso nella porzione, ottima la tagliata di tonno con cipolle di Tropea. Giusto rapporto qualità/prezzo

28/07/2025: I discovered this restaurant through Maps. After visiting Riaci Beach, before returning to Capo Vaticano, we stopped to eat at this splendid place with a sea view. The food is top-notch. It's a shame it's a windy day. The water is a gorgeous color. The portions are generous and the first courses are delicious. We couldn't order a second course because the portions were so large.

14/09/2025: Gourmet View and Basic Cuisine. The location is undoubtedly the highlight: the establishment overlooks the Arvo lakefront, offering a truly evocative view immersed in the natural beauty of the Sila. The setting is simple but well-suited to the location, with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere. The service, however, leaves much to be desired: paper tablecloths, plastic cups left in the center of the table, and inattentive staff lacking the welcome one would expect in a similar setting. Orders are taken quickly, with little attention or care for the customer, which detracts from the overall experience. On the positive side, their craft beers deserve a mention: excellent, well-made, and truly distinctive, they are certainly one of the most successful aspects of the offering. The appetizer is served as a single dish, rather banal and unrepresentative of Calabrian tradition: nothing that lingers or conveys the typical sensations of a true local appetizer. The rest of the dishes are average, with modest quality dishes and very simple presentation. The beef steak was good, but nothing memorable. The bill, however, is decidedly disproportionate to the service and quality: high prices that aren't justified by the overall offering. In summary: a splendid view and a pleasant location, but poor service, average cuisine, and prices above expectations.

31/07/2025: The croissants are fabulous. I'm updating my review to say that even after returning here in the summer for years, it's still a great bar, always better, impeccable, and the staff is always courteous.

21/07/2025: Excellent! Both the granitas and gelato are excellent, and the cups are amazing, especially the jumbo. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is fast! Kudos to you for the quality. You can see the jumbo cup in the video, but trust me, it doesn't do it justice. The only small flaw is that the place is a bit noisy inside, between the tables.

31/08/2025: A pleasant discovery in the historic center of Villapiana and this trattoria. The food (made with top-quality ingredients), the location, and the service are excellent. Very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back.

28/08/2025: Trattoria Casalnuovo embodies kindness, hospitality, and personal attention thanks to an exceptional team: Andrea, with his smile, always ready to explain and advise the customer, as well as Natale, Giuseppe, Sara, and Chiara. The food is exquisite, the quality of the local products is excellent, exuding tradition, balance, and authenticity. My heartfelt compliments to the chefs, they are truly talented; in this place, it's like eating at home.

31/08/2025: If I really had to find a flaw, I'd say they closed the day after we arrived here in Normanni. They had found our favorite restaurant. Delicious food, perfect wait, super friendly staff. Catia is the perfect hostess, making you feel at home and explaining the dishes with the love that only someone who loves what they have to offer can provide. Thank you for everything. We hope to see you again soon.

23/08/2025: August 2025: A welcoming place, especially the garden where I dined. Efficient waiters, and the owner was always available to accommodate our needs. The pizza was truly delicious, definitely one of the best this summer.

22/08/2025: After being satisfied twice, I had to change my mind this time. The staff was constantly circling the tables; the wait for a bottle of water was 20 minutes, and for the pizzas, from the moment you ordered, another 20 minutes. In short, I wouldn't recommend it, especially during these times. And then, the icing on the cake: children playing with balloons among the tables, with the placid approval of their parents, while everyone else (including me) ate pizza with balloons on top. All this without the waiters saying a word to these gentlemen. A very negative experience.
