28/12/2024: We are currently on holiday at the Jonio Blu campsite in Bianco and ordered from Grillo's today. That was a very good decision. The food is great and everything was delicious. The delivery to the campsite worked great. We simply picked up the order at the entrance. We will definitely order here again and also have breakfast once. We have never had better food here in Italy.

18/01/2025: I don't have much to say, except that this place is always a guarantee! I chose the tasting menu with a whole series of courses that really impressed me, especially the cube of cabbage with cod. During the evening I also asked the owner of the restaurant for a particular wine whose name or type I couldn't remember, based only on the flavour: she worked hard all evening to look for something similar, even letting me taste a glass of that free wine. I will come back again

01/04/2025: Appena si arriva gia'ti senti a casa dei nonni.Le tavole ,della piccola e accogliente sala,gia' imbandite di ogni ben di dio.Il camino crea un ambiente unico.Antipasto rustico a Km 0.Ricotta calda appena tolta dalla coddara.Braciole di melanzana,olive,pecorino,fave fresche appena raccolte dall'orto,salame di cinghiale strepitoso.Vino della casa,marmellata di agrumi.Lo chef pluripremiato,Francesco Trichilo,ci accoglie personalmente,descrivendoci le bonta' del periodo stagionale che ci verranno servite.Caserecce fatta in casa con grani antichi con le cicciole in bianco,polpette al sugo di maialino calabrese.Dolce strepitoso,fatto con ricotta,miele e zucchero ,con tecnica flambe'.Liquore di bergamotto e finocchietto come digestivo.Sempre tutto home made!!!!A fine pranzo Francesco ci allieta con un antico canto popolare del natale,carico di storia millenaria,suonando un bellissima lira calabrese.Strumenti antichi e antropologici,ben in vista sulla parete appena si entra.Costo irrisorio per tanta bonta',abbondanza e qualita' super.30 € a persona.Davvero complimenti,per uno slow food degno di questo termine,e che rispecchia totalmente la tradizione calabrese.

31/03/2025: Dalle Stelle alle stalle. Posto fantastico ben riscaldato. In cucina Le Stelle ed a tavola cibi stellari. Percorso di degustazione assolutamente da ripetere con, alla fine, musica e canto da parte del Padrone di casa nonché Chef Stellato e Presidente dei Cuochi Reggini. Siamo entrati in empatia con il Maestro che, nei giorni a seguire ci ha invitato a visitare le sue stalle dove gli animali vivono e pascolano all'esterno, campagna immensa posizionata alle falde del Borgo più bello, Gerace. Complimenti per tutto

26/03/2025: We were in Reggio Calabria for a few days, and we were advised, unfortunately, by locals that we could Eat fish well. I'll start by saying that I'm from Turin and I'm used to eating fresh and caught fish very well, but unfortunately it wasn't like that here. It was certainly fresh but it tasted of nothing. Both the raw fish and the spaghetti with seafood that only tasted of tomato😱. Not to mention the grilled tuna, really disappointing. I'm so sorry. Because you really have good potential!

08/03/2025: With a menu based almost exclusively on stockfish, the restaurant service is dedicated to lovers of "stockfish", where the dishes can satisfy such palates. For the rest, a little lacking on other courses or sweets or even bitters for the end of the meal. Good value for money and I must say that almost 2 years after the first visit the prices are practically the same.

27/01/2025: "Having called the day before, initially there was no place available. The owner advised me to call back the next day, and so I did. Not only did she find me a place in the second shift, but I also ate a first course based really exceptional stock. The value for money is really excellent. I highly recommend going there!"

15/03/2025: I haven't been back to this butcher's shop with grill for years and thank goodness I'm back. Simple and welcoming environment. Staff always polite and humble. Starters different from the usual I recommend the sheep and pork kebabs, really excellent beef meatballs. Also good in sauces. Another dish that I would recommend is ribs. Excellent meat, tender like butter and delicate in taste. Come back whenever you want.

18/02/2025: A welcoming place with a pleasant atmosphere, with an environment that is not too large but well looked after. The staff always proved to be helpful, attentive and very kind, helping to make the experience even more positive. The food was really good, with a great selection of meat, well cooked and tasty. The bill was also honest, with affordable prices and in line with the quality offered!

09/03/2025: Today 3/9/2025 I went to this pastry shop to get a granita. I ordered some almond desserts first and then I would sit down. The owner changed my mind with his insolence, absolute lack of empathy and perhaps, I would call it by its name, rudeness. Result: I paid and went to eat the granita somewhere else and obviously I won't dream of giving my money to someone like that in the future. It's not enough to have a good product, when you learn it it will always be too late. When one enters a place, one must feel good and not feel uncomfortable.

27/02/2025: Gerace, an unmissable village, like the Il Tocco pastry bar, in Piazza del Tocco. An absolutely unmissable destination for lovers of good pastries surrounded by truly excellent ice creams and granitas. Ricotta, fig, mulberry, strawberry and citrus fruit granitas, made with real fruit and not industrial syrups. Try it to believe it. A round of applause to its creator and manager Giuseppe Rinaldis who was also able to create a staff worthy of the name. The guys in the room were good, polite and precise in their service. Thank you!

19/02/2025: Beautiful location. Very fast service and friendly, welcoming staff. The pizza is good but personally I think it is a little too thin. There is a wide choice of pizzas and not only that, there are also first and second courses.

27/10/2024: Very pleasant surprise! Too bad we found ourselves eating out the day before our departure. Quality and very generous service and food. We ate for 4 people (a starter for 2 and 2 pizzas, 2 pasta dishes and 3 desserts + 4 drinks) and we paid €78. Which is more than reasonable. I highly recommend. Thanks to the whole team.

09/04/2025: I have celebrated several of my son's birthdays and other times we have been invited. The children always have so much fun. The owners are helpful and very kind, ready to satisfy every request and/or need. The quality/price ratio is excellent. I recommend it
