03/09/2024: exceptional! absolutely worth trying if you find yourself in Scalea; we took the mixed tasting platter where all the products were exceptional with fresh and particular flavours. then two dishes not on the menu which: orecchiette with tomatoes and figs and the beef fillet, we also also took a dish on the menu, namely "spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli in our own way" of which everything was really good. another pleasant note was the service from the staff who were friendly, kind and always available. really a nice place!

02/09/2024: Small restaurant located near the historic center of Scalea. Creative dishes with local products. The first courses and desserts are good. Fair prices.

25/08/2024: Sublime hospitality and service. Menu proposed among the best in the area, raw materials of the highest quality. Breathtaking location. I will return every time I go to Calabria.

24/08/2024: Well-finished, good dishes, not very special but undoubtedly expensive. Very pleasant and suggestive location. Terrible service: - white wine arrived hot I think it arrived at the table at 15 degrees (the red wine cellar in the room was set at 21 degrees... a trivial mistake) - inside is a bunker at the cell phone data network level and the menu is with the QR code. No problem if it hadn't been a challenge to have the wifi password, requested and waited 25 minutes, then I went to ask for it at the checkout and then ordered late - we ordered identical dishes asking for them to arrive portioned and instead they arrived in a single dish - many other small errors If you get nervous tics when you notice inability in the service you will certainly leave a little indisposed

22/08/2024: This restaurant is a hymn to visual and sensorial beauty. Environment furnished with taste and attention to detail. Excellent dishes and a well-stocked but not excessive cellar. Account according to expectations. The management of sudden events needs to be improved and staff trained better. The excellent chef, the owner courteous, kind and ready to listen, her daughter prepared and kind when ordering. In short, a beautiful experience worthy of a high-level restaurant. Irony: This review of Alchemy is done by a chemist. Also approved by my wife.

26/08/2024: Ordino spesso da Magna ed è sempre un' esperienza piacevole. Le pizze sono varie e molto digeribili, con ingredienti ottimi e di qualità. I ragazzi che la gestiscono sono simpatici e professionali, una vera manna dal cielo per la ristorazione Catanzarese

18/08/2024: La pizza in teglia senza eguali a catanzaro . Qualita’ dell impasto e degli ingredienti eccezionale. Che la si voglia mangiare sul posto o portarla a casa non fa differenza la qualita’ è sempre super. I ragazzi ti danno la possibilita’ di ultimare la cottura a casa con solo 5 min di forno o padella e vi assicuro che si mangera’ una pizza come appena sfornata . 5 stelle son poche , dipendenza .

09/08/2024: We tried calling several times to book but got no response. Despite this, once we got there we found a place. We sat down and waited about 20 minutes for the gentleman to come and take our order. Once the water was brought I asked for some ice and was told that the water was cold anyway, I reiterated if they could kindly bring me some ice and after a quarter of an hour it finally arrived. It took them more than an hour to make two pasta dishes (fresh pasta which cooks faster than dry pasta). Pasta that I didn't finish because honestly I was no longer hungry. I would like to say something in favor of the blonde waitress who served us because she was very kind, polite and I would add also very patient, even too much, given the organisation.

05/08/2024: They advertise seriousness! Millantano!!! This morning I called to book for 12 people. The person I spoke to, describing themselves as "serious and professional", told me that for 10pm there was no need for a reservation, reiterating that with the utmost seriousness they would guarantee us a seat. Obvious result: 12 of us arrived at 9.45pm and they also told us with a certain arrogance that there was no such thing as being able to sit down! Buffoons!

17/05/2024: It's a place I like, the beautiful music at a low volume, as it should be done in all places, the table on the steps of the staircase which makes it a bit retro and the "Tostacce" light and tasty. I'll be back. May 15, 2024. I went back but I was very sorry not to have found Toast anymore. Now there are scones... good, but the uniqueness and originality of before is no longer there.
