01/02/2026: Wonderful, old-world atmosphere. Very relaxing, and the dishes are divinely prepared and presented. Located at the foot of the historic center and very close to the start of the pedestrian area. The owner is extremely kind and skillful in presenting the various dishes. Highly recommended and excellent in every way.
18/01/2026: The place to eat in Scalea: tradition, culture, experimentation, friendliness, and flavor. It's impossible not to go.

11/01/2026: A welcoming restaurant with a varied selection of meat and fish dishes; we opted for fish. The menu is rich in classic dishes and contemporary twists. We enjoyed a bean, mussel, and saffron soup as an appetizer, a duo of first courses (gnocchi with Norwegian cod and bottarga, paccheri with shrimp and creamed asparagus), and a double second course (grilled monkfish tails and classic fried calamari). All the dishes were tasty and well-balanced, a pleasant discovery in Cosenza. Excellent wine list, impeccable service. We'll be back.

The staff is friendly and quick with their service, always smiling and available to accommodate any request. The atmosphere is clean and pleasant, perfect for both an evening with friends and a quiet dinner for two.
The pizzas are truly excellent: light, well-leavened dough, fresh, quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked. Good value, although a few small price adjustments would make the experience even more balanced. In any case, this pizzeria is definitely worth a try and highly recommended!

20/11/2025: Located right in the heart of Tropea's bustling old town, the restaurant's terrace is surprisingly peaceful. The menu focuses on fish, and we enjoyed a delicious sea bream baked in a salt crust. Our starter included the region's famous "Cipolla Rossa di Tropea" onions, prepared in three different varieties. The service was attentive and courteous.

But regarding the atmosphere, I can say that rudeness and unhelpfulness are their forte. They almost didn't let us in (at 9 pm!) because when we arrived, they "were too busy"...
Unheard of, but there were only a couple of people in front of us.
It would have been much more elegant to say there was a bit of a wait and then we could have decided whether to stay or not.
But you don't turn away customers.

The restaurant isn't bad; the 3 is due to its location on a main road, which naturally has its advantages and disadvantages.
The restaurant's hallmark is its use of local produce and fresh fish caught in the sea off the town in the evening and served the same day. Depending on the luck of the fish, this can sometimes limit the selection, but not the freshness.

A "family-like" atmosphere, informal, and pleasant.
Typical, homemade food, a location that gives you the feeling of eating at home, with your grandparents...
The owner, a descendant of generations of restaurateurs, is always attentive to his customers: he talks about the hospitality his grandparents gave him, and he's a friendly host who also enjoys sampling tradition.
If you're visiting the area (the Mileto Museum has numerous interesting artifacts and unique pieces!), I highly recommend stopping by!

I love this place, and every year, during the summer holidays, it's practically become a ritual and a tradition to return to dine here. Valentina always welcomes you with open arms and makes you feel at home. The staff is always young and knowledgeable, always ready to satisfy any request. The cuisine is truly top-notch: the fish is always fresh, the portions are generous, and every time I return, I always find something new, different, and sophisticated. There's no flaw, even the parking is convenient because it's right next to the restaurant. The prices are fair, perfectly in line with the dishes served. I highly recommend it; you'll be truly amazed.

27/09/2025: It's like walking into a boutique rather than a Chinese store (no offense, it's just a figure of speech), in that quality makes a huge difference. The color of the chicken on display at the counter is certainly not what you'd see in any supermarket. And then there's the experience, professionalism, and good taste of the owners, who select not only the meat, but also the preparation that makes it unique. Try it and believe it. The bill? The difference certainly justifies the quality.
