Explosion of flavor, a delicious dish

We discovered this wonderful place after an online search, and from our first chat with owner and chef Elena, we realized that customer service is a priority here. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Elena's husband, and then looked after throughout the evening by her son Domenico—truly friendly, professional, and hospitable—and by Maria Concetta, who took our order with extreme care and kindness. The location is simply enchanting: a charming outdoor space, dining under the olive trees in a magical atmosphere created by carefully designed soft lighting. The table layout deserves special mention, well-spaced, ensuring excellent privacy and total relaxation. Moving on to the cuisine, every dish was a confirmation: An excellent welcome appetizer. Delicious lobster linguine. A side of tasty and crispy potato chips. A simply delicious rosemary cod, expertly cooked. A delicate almond salmon, ordered by my wife, was truly superb. We finished on a high note with a coffee and two exceptional artisanal liqueurs, personally made by chef Elena. A truly TOP welcome and a family-run business that makes all the difference. Delicious food. Very fresh fish and seafood! The staff speaks English, which is not uncommon in Calabria. We'll definitely be back.

There's definitely room for improvement. Slow, though always courteous, service. Prices for the fish dishes are average. Vegan versions are available. Personally, though, I'd lower the price. I paid €15 for a plate of fettuccine with zucchini, the same price as the equivalent fish dish. Another thing to work on: the portions. A couple of friends shared a first course. The two "small portions" were as big as my entire plate...which I paid for in full. The appetizer platter while waiting for the first course was very welcome. The atmosphere was informal but very pleasant and relaxing, with the lights set among the olive trees (August 2024).
