Al kilimangiaro In Matera

I've been to Kilimamgiaro in Matera and it's a great location. There's ample parking, and the thoughtful decor and pop of color from the orange armchairs make all the difference: the eye is well-pleasing, and comfort helps you enjoy your dinner even more. There was also the option to choose a grain-based dough (avoiding hemp if you don't like it), demonstrating the kitchen's great flexibility. Furthermore, traditional menus often limit vegan options to the usual Margherita or classic Ortolana. Having a dedicated menu for vegetarians is a sign of great modernity and respect for the customer. My lovely escape, out of the region for those seeking a more vegetarian-friendly culinary experience, was worth it.

The staff was admirable, even though we arrived with a full dining room. They served us a super-fast meal because our child was very hungry. The pizza chef (I think he's the owner) made two delicious pizzas with quality and professionalism. Thank you for having us at your restaurant. Happy holidays.
