We went for a business dinner, so we couldn't choose from the menu. We were served several appetizers, all very delicious. I particularly enjoyed the traditional flavors, such as the peperoni cruschi, which I had never tried before. I was a little hesitant about the speck tarts, a flavor I wouldn't have expected in Basilicata, but they were good nonetheless. The orecchiette with fava bean puree and mushrooms were excellent. The tagliata with roasted potatoes on the side was flavorful and tender. The place is very charming, and the service is fast and professional.

I found this place a bit unwelcoming. Let me tell you, the waiter who took our order was a bit strange, aloof, and unwelcoming. He didn't even look at us, looking around while he took our order, even after I paid. The meat and mushrooms were very good. The prices were outrageous, nothing more than other places. Once I tried it, I won't be going back.

30/06/2026: A real osteria A very charming location, especially on the terrace. A traditional menu of the highest quality With generous portions and excellent value for money A special mention for the pizza, whose dough impressed me with its flavor and the smell of "freshly baked bread" it exudes. Family-run, very attentive to their customers, all very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

trattoria i due sassi

14/06/2026: Lovely restaurant with a beautiful view of the valley and Sassi. Booked here for 25 people on the panoramic terrace on top ahead of my wedding as a welcome and it couldn’t have been better - very responsive host before the booking, helping organise a local food platter to start and then menu ordering after that. The view was beautiful and everyone had a great time. Would recommend!
30/05/2026: We had a great meal - excellent steak and pasta. Only about 15 euros a head. Strong place to go to.
