07/09/2025: The menu is fairly sparse, with the only options being appetizers, sandwiches, beers, soft drinks, and a few desserts. Prices, in my opinion, are quite high considering it's a suburban establishment. The beers are, indeed, the highlight and are worth trying.

18/08/2025: Not just great beer. First and foremost, the people are friendly and kind. The food menu is worthy of a brewery. The fries are superb, as is the cheese burger. And what about the beers? The Hop Jungle is highly recommended. Thank you.

10/07/2025: The restaurant was recommended to me by a local lady. As soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the interior, which contrasted sharply with the anonymous and barren exterior. The interior is furnished with older pieces, which nevertheless give it a homey, welcoming, and warm feel. The walls are lined with shelves filled with wine bottles. The table setting is simple and refined. The food was very good, beautifully presented... but I was disappointed not to be able to finish the dinner with a homemade dessert.

18/06/2025: Great location. Very quiet. Clean rooms and obviously very fresh. Breakfast was average, nothing exceptional but you have to consider that it is not a 4 star so it is fine

25/08/2025: I booked without knowing it was inside the campsite. A pleasant surprise, the campsite is very well-maintained. When I entered the restaurant, I saw the self-service area and was concerned. Instead, they seated us in an adjacent room for the à la carte menu. The menu had a lot of choice and very affordable prices, so we ordered two appetizers, two first courses, and a grilled fish dish, along with house wine. Everything was perfect in terms of quality, quantity, service, and the owner's kindness. I would go back with my eyes closed.

15/08/2025: *A terrible, disappointing experience.* Unfortunately, the food was terrible: pre-made dishes, poorly cooked, some undercooked, others dry and flavorless. The quality was truly poor and prevented us from enjoying the meal. The only positive point: the waitress was very kind and understanding, understanding our discomfort and acting professionally. It's a shame; the service deserves a better atmosphere. Highly not recommended.

17/08/2025: On a trip to Troina, we decided to have a pizza 🍕 at this restaurant/pizzeria called L'Orchidea! I felt like I was back in the '80s, with large, cold rooms and dated furnishings (tables, chairs, and tablecloths). It's clean, with a bar at the entrance and very young, obviously inexperienced staff. And now the pizza! Nothing special, but classic, perhaps a little toasty, but everything was cooked thoroughly (even too well), but for Ferragosto (August 15th), it's a good idea. Honestly, I'll try other pizzerias in the area!

26/06/2025: We were seated immediately and were able to order quickly, which initially made a good impression. Unfortunately, the food didn't arrive at the same time – some at the table had to wait over 45 minutes. It seemed as if we had simply been forgotten. It's a shame, because the start was promising, but the service significantly dampened the overall experience.

20/09/2025: I was with my friends and we all went to eat, but one of our friends didn't eat at your place. After 10 minutes, we all started complaining of stomach aches and vomiting, except her. We're still feeling sick.

11/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorantino lunedì e siamo stati benissimo. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e oltre a deliziosi piatti del territorio, siamo stati accolti dal personale gentilissimo che ci ha fatto accomodare anche prima dell' orario di apertura per permetterci di trovare riparo dal caldo materano. Sicuramente quando torneremo a Matera passeremo a trovarvi. Grazie ancora

17/08/2025: The pizza and panzerotti are good and affordable. The only drawback is the mosquitoes; if you feed them in the refreshment area, you'll need to use appropriate spray. Still, recommended.

26/08/2025: A total disappointment. High prices that don't match the quality of the dishes. The overcooked tagliata tasted like a thin slice of meat, and the lemon scallops tasted nothing like lemon... the baked potatoes were just boiled potatoes... the Matera appetizer was disappointing... two slices of cured meat and the rest were pickles, so sad. All at an insane price...

09/09/2025: Pecan Grill Policoro (service station) Restaurant/tobacconist/bar/gas station, you'll find absolutely everything, including a free children's play area (playland) with plenty of seating. Really nice and welcoming. It's located on the SS106 and can also be accessed from the town (Policoro), so there are two entrances and two exits, very convenient.
