Fish dishes are available, including raw fish for those who prefer it. A beautiful location with outdoor dining options is located in a converted restaurant in an old roadhouse. Friendly staff and moderately high prices, depending on your preference. The pizza is also worth trying.

30/08/2025: A pleasant discovery! Excellent trattoria inside the farmhouse next to the main road, you don't even have to leave. Quick service and delicious, abundant typical Basilicata dishes. Pictured are Lucanian-style ferricelli and cacciatore-style rabbit. More than fair price. I'd go back!
27/08/2025: Abbiamo mangiato ottimamente, da anni in questo periodo ci andiamo e anche quest'anno siamo rimasti soddisfatti, noto con piacere che la proprietaria e il personale sono attenti alle normative covid e accolgono i clienti in un'ambiente sicuro e famigliare. Piatti abbondanti e sconsigliati per chi è a dieta.

24/02/2026: This bakery represents the history of the city of Matera. I've personally had the opportunity to try numerous types of focaccia barese, which has its roots in the Bari Vecchia district. I can rightfully say that Paoluccio surpasses, albeit just barely, even the famous bakeries of Bari. The location of the business makes it easy to stroll among the wonders of the capital of rural civilization, with a fragrant piece of focaccia in hand. We highly recommend tasting the authentic Pane di Matera, an ancient product that is very different from the more commercialized Pane di Altamura PGI. A shout-out to those who continue the traditions.
18/02/2026: The best focaccia I had so far. Awesome, homemade cantuccini 👌
