Casello 75 In Matera

Casello 75 in Matera was one of the best meals we had on our trip. It came highly recommended by friends and did not disappoint. We sat on the beautiful terrace and received warm, friendly service throughout the evening. We shared everything, starting with the delicious Matera bread and local olive oil, along with a fresh mixed salad. The Pizzella Pugliese with burrata, basil and tomato was excellent. The almond and burrata filled ravioli with roasted tomato sauce and hamachi was absolutely delicious. The entrecôte with cherry tomatoes and rocket was cooked perfectly, and the baked potatoes were excellent. We also enjoyed a wonderful bottle of local white wine from the Basilicata region. To finish, the affogato was to die for. A fantastic meal and a restaurant I would highly recommend in Matera

Excellent local wine, delicious pizza, and tomato and arugula toast. The owner is very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

The difference in MATERA, when you meet the owner, you will understand exactly what I mean. The guys are exceptional in service, quite polite.
