Sakana, one of the legendary best sushi places in Matera. The menu consists of various meals, first courses, desserts, and SUSHI!!!!! The staff is very kind, and obviously Japanese! (No offense, of course) The atmosphere is beautiful; if you sit outside, it's very nice and cool. I recommend it! The cat approves! In fact, SUPER APPROVED!

Sushi is all-you-can-eat. I ate there for dinner, and you can only order eight dishes per person in 15-minute sittings, but the quality of the food was excellent and worth the wait. This also helps you avoid ordering too many dishes and ending up wasting food. Some dishes on the dinner menu can only be ordered once, twice, or even three times. The Pan Coniglio isn't served with condensed milk, but has a generous custard filling inside. The presentation is also excellent.

Friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. I was pressed for time, and they prepared my takeout in 15 minutes. The sushi was delicious and filling. Everything was simply superb. I highly recommend it.

The atmosphere is quite informal, with attentive and meticulous staff. Service is quite fast, though slower as the number of customers increases. The dishes are quite well-presented. The food is good quality. If I were to return, I would gladly return.
