29/07/2025: Normal - I expected better. Too many processed ingredients, and if you're looking for something without cheese, it's a dilemma. They point out something, but then, during cooking, the waiters are the first to say, "I don't know which one is without cheese." The waiters start playing with each other while preparing the meat... basically, nothing special. Eating horse meat is a different matter.

03/07/2025: We ate very well, the best buffet ever, 4 of us ate until we burst with a variety of vegetables and a variety of horse food, skewers, hamburgers and many other things. Zero kilometre food and excellent quality. I recommend it to all the people who pass through the area like us, who are from Rome and found ourselves there, to eat at least once. Special gastronomy

17/07/2025: A bar with an extremely vintage look, the decor stuck 100 years ago, and so is the entire bar itself. I'll start by saying that, as a native of Puglia, the €4 savory croissant is a complete rip-off. The place itself is dirty. Whoever put the croissants on the plates for me had three plates on the counter, one of which had jam splatted underneath, so I independently took two croissants and moved the second one to the cleanest plate, leaving the dirty one on the balcony, sadly ignored. The prices for the mini pastries are average, but the quality is that of a bar that thinks it's Michelin-starred and doesn't even make a puff pastry worthy of the name, not to mention the sugar tarallo reduced to a small, spongy product, most likely frozen. As for the coffee shop, they should pay a little more attention to cleanliness. The cups and spoons were in a pitiful state, but obviously, the counter where the staff prepare them isn't exactly all that beautiful either. My main advice is to get out of your shop and look around, and I'm not referring to local businesses in Matera, but rather in the surrounding cities, and get inspiration for growth. And above all, look into places that are clean and, above all, authentic at their prices. If you want to sell a product for €4, you can do so, but make sure it's worth it, because if the production cost, including cured meats, is €1.50-€1.80, 50% of the cost is pure profit: you might as well spend it on improving.

15/07/2025: The property is right next to the road. It reminds me of a trattoria, where you can eat good, home-made food. The owner is very kind and helpful, as I've always known her. I only had an appetizer and a first course with porcini mushrooms. The dish was abundant and tasty, and above all, with local products. Well done, and congratulations. The prices are really fair and honest. I want to return and will give it 5 stars. The lady also has a B&B.

29/07/2025: Pessima esperienza in un ambiente trascuratissimo, con prezzi alle stelle ma qualità di livello Fastfood. Cameriera che propone solo i piatti più costosi ma che poi ti portano delle porzioni ridicole con pochissima carne/pesce e un sacco di patate surgelate.

05/07/2025: I was there two years ago and now going down south I couldn't help but stay again. Clean polite friendly and of a unique kindness and humility. In short ... recommended if you want a perfect oasis of peace .... I saw a comment that I consider really out of place and not very polite ... as a customer who returns and will return again I can only recommend this place. Thanks to all of you

23/02/2025: For Valentine's Day dinner we choose to discover this place, never the right choice, with live music to accompany the evening. When you bring dishes with few ingredients to the table you take risks but here the chef knows what he's doing; starting with the marinated salmon (fresh, not from the bag), continuing with the Genoese cod (fantastic quality, tenacious and tasty fish) up to the dessert, as simple as it is tasty. Young staff in the dining room, trained and polite. Congratulations on your Business!

24/06/2025: Arrived with no reservation. Asked if it was possible to the steak and potatoes senza glutine...gluten free. The lovely ladybehind the counter went to ask the ragazzi in the kitchen and returned with a definite yes. I was brought 3 steaks to choose between, and it was returned later cooked to absolute perfection, beautifully tender and extremely tasty. They also do a mean pina colada and aperol spritz and my husband was most impressed with the birra rossa ala spina.
