06/10/2025: A clean and comfortable three-star hotel. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Special mention goes to the owner, who went out of her way to make us feel at home.

In short ... recommended if you want a perfect oasis of peace .... I saw a comment that I consider really out of place and not very polite ... as a customer who returns and will return again I can only recommend this place. Thanks to all of you

21/09/2025: A lovely restaurant right on the Roseto Capo Spulico seafront. The seafood is exquisite, both the first and second courses. The fried seafood and grilled octopus on a bed of potatoes are especially noteworthy. We'll be back, as we love the Ionian coast of Calabria.

20/04/2025: Butcher shop specializing in locally produced meats and related products. Excellent production and transformation of meat into cured meats, quality and genuine products. The aromas and flavors are indescribable. Furthermore, there are dishes ready for take-away, it also offers a barbecue service, if you are in the area you should try it. P.S. Commercial establishment, not recommended for vegetarians 😂😂😂😂😂

02/09/2025: On a Thursday, we arrived from a nearby town because someone had recommended the pizza there. My wife, my son, and I ordered two pizzas, a plate of pasta with tomato sauce, and a potato chip. The pasta for the son arrived cold and the pasta was poorly cooked (the child barely ate anything), and the chips arrived cold and overcooked. The pizzas were adequate in terms of both size and ingredients. Overall, let's say it was a 5.5 experience. The service was friendly and helpful. I forgot after a while that we were having a nap, and the child fell asleep, so we ordered two truffles to go. I have to say they were excellent, but the price was moderately high.

11/07/2025: Consigliato da amici andiamo alla scoperta di questo ristorante in quanto cercavamo delle pietanze tipiche locali, che riportassero ai sapori di una volta, quelli della cucina tradizionale, tramandata ma rivisitata in chiave moderna. Locale accogliente e ben curato, personale cortese e fiero di spiegare il piatto, materia prima.di ottima qualità e bontà indiscutibile. Sui dessert, "il Cestino del Barisano" vale di nuovo una visita al locale. Complimenti e buona strada.

25/06/2025: Exceptionnel ! Plats goûteux dans la pure tradition de Matera. Accueil chaleureux, service impeccable, fraîcheur de la salle intérieure troglodyte très appréciée par jour de canicule (et sinon il existe aussi une jolie terrasse ombragée). Mention spéciale pour le dessert (photo) typique de Matera : le Cestino del Barisano : une mousse de ricotta légère et pas trop sucrée, avec purée de fruits frais et amandes grillées, dans une pâte croustillante, c’est à tomber par terre …

18/09/2025: A vague imitation of French gastronomy. But only the terminology is correct (apart from the spelling errors). They would have been better off focusing on the local cuisine, which is excellent. Much too expensive.

01/10/2025: We had some lunch here and it topped all of our expectations!! The food was amazing and the vibe was just perfect (They also have the famous matera bread which is a must try when you are here). The guy that helped us was really nice and helpful in every way he could, he was even teaching us some fun facts about cork screws :). The view of this place is unmatched and it goes hand in hand with the relaxed vibe that the place holds. When we were eating here it really felt like time stopped. After a bit the cat of the owner came to say hello to us and ended up sitting in my lap🥰 such an adorable fur ball (i called it giuseppe). Would give it 10 stars if i could! Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: We were looking for a place to enjoy mushroom specialties, and we were delighted beyond our expectations. Even though it was Sunday and the restaurant was almost full, both the kitchen and the wait staff took great care of some intolerances and my wife's pregnancy. We ate really well; the orange and cruschi pepper salad was a fantastic surprise. The table wine was excellent. The location is a paradise on earth, offering lovely walks. The value for money is reminiscent of the days when you could dine out without taking out a mortgage. The interior is too spartan and "drab," which clashes with the pleasantness of the rest of the restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
