13/11/2025: We ate here several times our vacation and we enjoyed it very much! The hosts are very lovely people. They have a wide variety of dishes, the pasta was very good and the pizza might be the best we ever had. The prices are more than reasonable. And they also have quite some vegetarian options. We came for the availability during low season, but we kept coming back because of the quality and kindness. Definitely a recommendation!

26/10/2025: After eight years, I returned to this place for lunch and was shocked that there were four of us eating at my table. I found it strange since it was Saturday, but it's okay. I ate the same dishes I've always ordered: carpaccio, bombette, bombe, brasciole with sauce, and a braised beef with caramelized Tropea onion. For dessert, tiramisu, coffee, and two bottles of wine by the glass. Rating: €157, and three out of four people had severe bouts of... One star is even too much.

15/11/2025: Everything was perfect: the room was spotless and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful with anything, the breakfast was plentiful, and savory options were also available upon request. The price was excellent, and you can bring your dog upon request. The outdoor area is beautiful, like a typical Apennine farmhouse, with lots of pets (so it's perfect for bringing children too!).

Owner Rocco's offerings range from pizzas, including stuffed ones, to a rotisserie offering excellent fried foods to enjoy at home or at the tables in the small but cozy space inside. Great professionalism and attention to quality. Let's go to Rocco's!

23/09/2025: I've been frequenting this yogurt shop for years, but unfortunately, I have to say that tonight's experience was very disappointing. It was really hot inside, and while sitting near the window, I simply moved the curtain slightly to get some air. The owner, instead of understanding the situation, spoke to me rudely and impolitely, telling me not to touch it because it "would break." I honestly find it absurd that a customer should feel reprimanded for such a trivial gesture, especially when they report a real discomfort like the heat. No attention or kind words, just rudeness. I'm very sorry to write this as a loyal customer, but with this attitude, the place loses much of its value. I will never return. P.S.: A smile is cheap... and the customers who bring you money would appreciate it much more.

06/09/2025: Fabulous ice cream shop in the centre of Rionero. The ice cream is simply fantastic. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is quiet and the prices are average.

14/09/2025: I'm giving this a great review because, even though the hotel isn't exceptional in terms of the rooms, there are many things that make up for it. Superb atmosphere and excellent food for a really good price, and a wonderful welcome from charming and pleasant people. So thank you very much. The human touch is essential!!! 07/09/2025: The hotel is a bit dated, but it has a well-maintained pool. The rooms are decent, and the restaurant serves excellent, local dishes. Recommended.

12/10/2025: The best, beautiful bakery, you can have breakfast with many varieties of croissants of all flavors, delicious and tasty focaccia, not to mention the bread, and you can have lunch, they also make pizza, first courses, second courses, in short there is a vast choice of products that just looking at it and the smell, there you would like to eat them all, so you have to go many times, then the location offers seating inside the premises and outside, furthermore there is a large parking lot, even if it is located in northern Matera, it is a well-served area, go there!

11/10/2025: Just a quick stop for breakfast next morning, and Pizza for dinner. One of the few places open for pizza before 7-8:00. Nice people, ok pizza. Recommendation: Sure, it's ok.

12/10/2025: Everything was perfect. Excellent meat and a wide selection, with many unique delicacies. The desserts were also exquisite, with special mention for the salted caramel ice cream and the tiramisu. Truly excellent. One caveat: during these first cold days, it would be helpful to turn up the heating a bit, as the place was chilly at times. But it's really a small thing, as the atmosphere exudes warmth and a welcoming atmosphere.

21/09/2025: The meat is of sufficient quality. The side dishes are unmemorable. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. A more engaging and cheerful service wouldn't hurt.

26/10/2025: Delicious food, friendly service, nice and peaceful off season and enough choice for a couple of vegetarians!

20/09/2025: We walked up without a reservation and were seated right away. The waitress was excellent as was the food. We had the fresh fish of the day and split it between us. It was worth the money.
