Ristorante La Tana In Maratea

We were exploring around during the shoulder season. Found this to be the only full service hotel around for miles. We drove directly. It was THE highlight of our first stay in region. The hosts (and service) was some of the best I have ever experienced in travels. Every person we encountered was exceptionally warm and welcoming. We were in a clean and adequate room near the kitchen / internal prep area with a family like atmosphere around. Loved loved loved seeing the olives pitted and the pasta made and the invitations to interact. The white tablecloth restaurant experience was 5 stars all the way. And I dare you to find a better breakfast buffet anywhere! WOW. This really felt more like an upscale family owned and operated agriturismo stop - what a unexpected surprise. Even in the last days of October we were able to drive to AMAZING beach in 2 minutes and jump in the warm waters. I wanted to take the time to leave my experience because it really was remarkable.

La cucina rispetto a prima è migliorata, una volta era una cucina di albergo , ora c’è un menù contenuto, dove il pesce è il soggetto, ma ci sono anche tre primi di terra . Quello che hanno dato a me era buono, solo ci vuole un equilibrio con il sale.Le porzioni sono normale e la frittura di paranza eccellente.

There are unjustified hype, researchers of innovation for its own sake and then there is La Tana. Very tasty cuisine, without unnecessary frills, which makes the most of the raw material. What stands out above all are the spectacular first courses and the friendliness of the staff.

Excellent food, excellent service. Fair value for the quality served.

Excellent welcome, excellent cleanliness, polite and welcoming staff. We will definitely return.
