27/09/2025: Unfortunately, I can't give less than one star. We ordered two pizzas and a sandwich. They arrived after almost three hours! They were inedible, to say the least! My companion's pizza, a tuna and onion pizza with fries, was a dry, unseasoned disc under an excessive amount of very cold fries that smelled of fried fish (obviously, changing the oil or using separate fryers would be too much work). My pizza, a diavola with mushrooms and fries, was truly inedible! The consistency was that of a dry toasted slice. The mozzarella, what little there was on the pizza, had the typical odor of a modified atmosphere, a mix between methane and bleach. It's the smell of mozzarella in a modified atmosphere at just over €5 a kilo. The mushrooms got lost along the way because there wasn't even a hint of them, the salami was of extremely poor quality, and the fries, in my case very few, were flavored with fish like my companion's. Sooner or later, you'll run into someone with a fish allergy. Ultimately, we waited three hours for a terrible meal. The sandwich was edible, although the bread was very dry and fell apart when bitten into. I don't usually write negative reviews because I think oversights can happen, but operating this way, with prices equal to those of other pizzerias that produce much better products, is completely unfair. Total €30.00. Never again!

19/03/2026: I rarely leave reviews, but this time you deserve it! We went to this place for lunch on Sunday, a group of hungry bikers. It's a nondescript place from the outside, but once you enter, everything is new and welcoming. We ate very well, from appetizer to dessert (we're talking homemade cuisine and zero-mile products, so don't expect gourmet dishes), and everything was delicious. Excellent value for money, I recommend it, especially because they're young and know what they're doing. Keep it up!

18/02/2026: We stayed at the Hotel San Nicola, which recommended this traditional inn to us. Located in Lagonegro, it's warm and welcoming. Traditional specialties and home-cooked food. Low prices and generous portions. For two appetizers, a first course, a second course, four pizzas, chips, water, Coke, and wine for six, we spent €65. The pizzas were really good, as were the first and second courses. A definite stop if we're ever in the area again.

15/02/2026: This is the second year we've returned as a group to Lagonegro during this time, and Locanda da Federico has remained the same. A welcoming trattoria with an old-fashioned feel. The menu varies based on the availability of ingredients, and the pizza is made with excellent dough and fresh, local ingredients. For us, it remains a permanent and permanent spot for our outings in Basilicata. Suitable for everyone, from families with children to couples and groups. 19/12/2025: We had lunch after visiting the Monticchio Lakes. Excellent restaurant with home-made dishes. Homemade pasta, grilled dishes, and excellent braised meat. Prices are reasonable. I'll be back.

03/04/2026: I felt cheated. We just wanted to try some samples and we ordered a first course for three because we weren't very hungry and they charged us the price of three menus. It's a shame because the food is good anyway, but they don't want to rip off the customer.
