30/07/2025: Memori di precedenti esperienze, siamo ritornati con entusiasmo, ma questa volta il disagio provato ha reso negativa la cena. Il servizio è stato pessimo con cameriere poco accoglienti, frettolose ed approssimative. Il culmine è stato raggiunto quando il nostro cane, senza peraltro muoversi dalla sua posizione sotto la mia sedia, ha abbaiato per l’ingresso di in altro cagnolino. La cameriera, con tono evidentemente infastidito, ha borbottato una frase contro il cane. Tanto è bastato per andar via senza terminare la cena. Penso che sia evidente che in un ristorante, oltre alla preparazione dei piatti e alla ricerca delle materie prime, sia essenziale fornire un servizio garbato, efficiente anche se non rigorosamente elegante; stiamo parlando del minimo sindacale!!! Non commento il cibo per non essere condizionata dallo spiacevole episodio

30/03/2025: Specifico che dalla mia ultima recensione, il locale ha cambiato gestione e molte cose sono decisamente peggiorate, ad eccezione della location. Il menù è rimasto a base di carne e pesce con la variazione della pizza solo il sabato sera. Al momento dell’ordinazione ci è stato sottolineato che il locale nel giro di 2 settimane avrebbe chiuso per ferie pertanto non tutte le portate del menù erano disponibili quindi il cameriere, gentilmente, ci ha suggerito anche i fuori menù proponendoci come antipasti delle polpettine di baccalà, invisibili, grandi poco più di un'oliva verde, euro 2, 50 al pezzo e piccole polpettine di melanzane, banalissime, con impasto frullato euro 1,50 al pezzo. Il colmo è stato l’arrivo della birra ordinata con data di scadenza Novembre 2024 (episodio già successo a dicembre 2024, pur non essendo prossimi alle ferie); naturalmente l’alternativa è ricaduta su una banalissima birra italiana da discount, in quanto essendo prossimi alla chiusura feriale (ribadisco 2 settimane) nel locale non c’era nessuna altra bottiglia di birra disponibile, resta ben inteso che nessuno del personale, titolare e chi che sia abbia minimamente chiesto scusa o mostrato un minimo segno di rammarico per l’accaduto. Dopo aver ordinato e atteso pazientemente i nostri piatti, ahimè ci siamo immediatamente resi conto che quelli a base di carne (tagliata) erano immangiabili poiché la carne era dura e non masticabile, allorché qualcuno ha preferito mandare indietro il piatto, sostituito con del pesce (salmone con verdure ottimo) a pagamento, ed anche qui scuse e quant’altro completamente assenti. Inutile dire che non ci è stato offerto neanche un bicchiere d’acqua o sconto, visto l’esito della cena, per di più il conto è stato incassato direttamente dallo chef (presente alla cassa) il quale non ha proferito nessuna parola di scusa… orripilante.

19/04/2025: This is undoubtedly the best rotisserie in Policoro and beyond. The quality of the products is very high. The prices are slightly higher than average, but absolutely justified by the quality and care with which they are made. A special applause for the scrocchiarelle, truly irresistible! I would only suggest taking care of the external appearance of the place. See you soon

In the morning – a breakfast menu, with options to dine in or take away. In the evening – pizzas and panzerotti. A wide selection of bottled beers and amazing cocktails. It feels like they're open around the clock. The staff speaks English. Highly recommended!"

Planeé mi cumpleaños allí, obtuve una confirmación, pero cuando llegaron, actuaron como si no hubiera reserva, que se pusieron en contacto conmigo para cancelar (no lo hicieron) y no es su culpa. Peor experiencia, no vrexommend a menos que yiu tenga un par de opciones de sustitución

16/07/2025: We spent two days at Agriturismo l'Agrifoglio, choosing half-board so we could explore the nearby woods during the day and return for dinner in the evening. The owner (Benito) welcomed us, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and you can spend hours reading a book in the garden while the kids play on the nearby soccer field (Benito even treated us to a cold beer and a charcuterie board). There are virtually no cars on the nearby road, and the only sounds are those of the woods and farm animals. Within 30 minutes, there are numerous attractions worth visiting for a day immersed in nature. Breakfast and dinner are excellent and generous; we couldn't finish everything they prepared for dinner, so after breakfast, we packed bags for the kids to have a snack during their hikes. Of course, you shouldn't expect 5-star rooms at a farmhouse, but they are clean and functional, and reasonable for the price.

13/05/2025: Mrs. Barbara welcomes us, very friendly, pleasant and passionate; the place is full of charm, created in a medieval environment and renovated with great taste and without saving. Our room had an entrance room with stove, sofa and kitchen, a staircase and there is a single bed and the bathroom. Another ladder and there is the double bed. It overlooks a very beautiful countryside from above

29/07/2025: I can't tell you how the food is because we left. At the entrance, the owner didn't even greet us. When we arrived, he asked us to choose a table, and once we were seated, he told us that dogs aren't actually allowed in restaurants. He explained that we had called to make a reservation, letting them know we had a dog. To complete the welcome, the owner added that he also has dogs, but at home. He probably didn't know that there's a law that allows dogs on the premises as long as they're on a leash (Presidential Decree no. 320/1954). We got up and left. Add.: Regarding your response, it's really a case of when the patch is worse than the hole. The place was half empty: one person at a table. And outside in the garden, it was about to rain. In any case, we had also warned them before arriving that the dog was there.
