11/04/2026: Lanterna Verde, in the heart of Trecchina, is a place that manages to combine the welcoming atmosphere of an osteria with the attention to detail of a restaurant and the versatility of a pizzeria. The menu is wide and varied, with carefully presented dishes and an almost gourmet touch, making the experience enjoyable from the very first glance. The portions aren't particularly generous, but the quality more than makes up for it. I didn't have the chance to try the pizza, but watching it being passed around the tables nearby, it looked truly inviting, well-leavened and packed with fresh ingredients. I opted for the meat, which was tender and flavorful, accompanied by simple but well-prepared side dishes. The cod fillet was also excellent, tender, delicate, and cooked with great balance of flavors. The deconstructed cake served at the end of the meal was a pleasant surprise, delicious without being heavy. The service was courteous and helpful, with attentive but never intrusive staff. Overall, Lanterna Verde is a place worth a visit: a refined restaurant with well-crafted dishes and a relaxing atmosphere. It deserves four stars, and I'm eager to return to finally try the pizza.

15/05/2026: A truly terrible experience... First, the welcome: nonexistent. The owner doesn't look at you, doesn't greet you... doesn't even say goodbye after taking your payment. Not a word... nothing. It seems he only greets Italians he knows. We were seated at a table, a sort of folding table, next to a jumble of objects, giving the impression of eating in a storage room. We asked to change tables, which was refused on the pretext that it was reserved (a couple arrived shortly after and were given a choice of three tables, including the supposedly reserved one...). Finally, let's talk about the food. We knew it wasn't sophisticated, but it was especially bad. It tasted like a collection of pre-made ingredients! In short, the worst restaurant experience since we've been in Italy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

11/05/2026: Really good vegetarian zucchini croquettes on a bed of rocket. Raw Garlic yogurt salsa. A platter of roasted vegetables in which each flavor was magnified and pronounced. Best vegetarian meal in Italy by far

We felt pampered by the flavors of true Greece both in the dishes and in the welcome from the managers, it really seems like being in a tavern in Greece, the same atmosphere, tavern managed by Spyros and his wife in an excellent and familiar way, dishes prepared by the owner with great care and attention, quality products and dishes with a unique flavor, we enjoyed it very much and we spent the right amount, what can I say, we will return as soon as possible because Greece has entered my heart and thanks to this tavern in Ferrandina I can go there whenever I want without having to take the plane

11/12/2025: We stumbled upon Piaceri dell’Arrosto on the recommendation of locals. The location is immersed in nature, amidst the chirping of birds and the surrounding trees. The staff is courteous and friendly, not to mention the dishes, plentiful and excellent. I don't eat meat, but, despite the name, they have several vegetarian options, from appetizers to first courses. I'll definitely be back!

21/12/2025: The classic focaccia is excellent, the crispy onion focaccia roll is divine, the bread is well-cooked and very tasty, and the panettone is definitely worth trying too, what can I say, a pearl of a bakery!
