From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt welcomed: the location is stunning, surrounded by nature near the Monticchio Lakes, and we had the opportunity to eat outdoors, with a relaxing atmosphere and truly enchanting views. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-prepared: typical Lucanian dishes prepared with fresh, genuine ingredients, which made the dinner enjoyable and memorable. The wine selection and the quality of the dishes also contributed to making everything perfect. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home, attentive to detail and ready to recommend the house specialties with a sincere smile. In short, even though I've only been there once, Restaino Restaurant left a truly positive memory, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Lucanian cuisine in a unique and evocative setting. I would return without hesitation. 🍝🌿✨

11/10/2025: The pizza is excellently digestible. Uncle Paolo and the entire staff are kind, friendly, professional, and very attentive to customer requests. I must also mention one outstanding surprise: on the menu, where it says "prosciutto," it specifies "spalla," unlike other menus I've read, because prosciutto is prosciutto; spalla, even if high-quality, is not prosciutto. Highly recommended.

19/07/2025: Mozzarella, ricotta, caciocavallo, and so on...made right in the dairy. Excellent focaccia and many other local delicacies. I haven't tried everything, but I assure you, the ingredients are top-quality. A must-try if you're in Bernalda. Fairly priced.

28/12/2025: We met up for dinner with some friends who had come down from the north for the holidays. Good value for money, friendly and helpful staff in a welcoming atmosphere. There was a bit of a wait for the appetizers, but given the large and busy restaurant, that's bound to happen. The evening was truly enjoyable. The pizzas were very good, as were the desserts (a little less so for the ricotta and pear). Recommended

The presentation of the dishes is simple yet refined, perfect for fully appreciating the quality of the ingredients. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and very helpful, always ready to explain the dishes and recommend pairings or house specialties. The warm, family atmosphere makes you feel immediately at ease, as if you were a guest at a friend's house. Despite only having visited once, I was completely satisfied with the quality of the food, the service, and the location. If I ever get the chance to return to the area, Agriturismo Sapori del Platano will definitely be a must-visit for a taste of authentic Lucanian dishes and a relaxing break in a natural, well-kept setting. 🌿🍷🍝

09/12/2025: Small restaurant on the side of a city street. Generous portions, good food at a reasonable price. The menu is varied, from fish to meat to vegetables, and everything was plentiful. I believe they also do takeout, but I've only tried the restaurant. Very popular with locals. Friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is the limited parking. I'll be back.

08/02/2026: biggest tourist trap ever. i went today and i think that almost every day they serve the same cheap options, for example pork red sauce (salsa salsiccia) and broccoli pasta....... both are the cheapest options ever and they do not taste good. better spend those 5 euros ELSEWHERE. they probably spend less than 1 eur making a portion. it was those viral tiktoks that made me go but never again

31/12/2025: A high-end restaurant, Bracci. Although it was recommended by friends and therefore had high expectations, the evening was more enjoyable than expected. Very good traditional Lucanian first courses and a truly excellent meat-based second course. I highly recommend this experience, especially at a great price for the quality.

08/01/2026: If I had to rate it from 1 to 10, I'd give it a seven. I'll explain: I had the €35 set menu, and everything was delicious, from the starters to the mixed meat main course. My only criticism, if I may, is the appetizer, which I thought was a bit small for Lucanian tradition; everything else was plentiful and delicious.

25/12/2025: I spent Christmas Day with my family and loved ones. The restaurant staff was kind and helpful. The quality of the ingredients enhanced the excellent preparation of the dishes. I hope to return soon.
