15/02/2026: Even though I'm local, I'd never been to this pizzeria. It's in a very central location, on the main street. The place is modern, well-lit, and very well-kept. The sound-absorbing panels are a great idea; they're modern and in keeping with the decor. The very young staff is welcoming, attentive, and professional. The pizzas are exquisite. The contemporary dough, thin in the center and thick on the crust, is well-leavened, perfectly cooked, and incredibly light. The ingredients are top-quality. I've had a much better pizza than many gourmet pizzerias that are much more renowned...and expensive! The bill is perfectly in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes. Highly recommended.

20/02/2026: Welcoming place. Luciano and his staff were extremely kind and attentive to every need. We had the honor of having lunch on a rather busy day as the Carnival float parade was underway. They recommended the rafanata, a truly delicious traditional Stigliano Carnival dish. I hope to return soon. Everything else about the lunch was top-notch. 👍 Thank you.

17/11/2025: Reading the name of this place I thought of warmth and genuine food, purely local. But I changed my mind, I only found commercial products from the supermarket for which I paid well above the average.

01/11/2025: We had lunch at La Roulette, and I must say it was truly a pleasure! The meat was delicious, and the cuisine was excellent. The owner, Michele, was extremely hospitable and professional, as were all the friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal in a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

17/01/2026: Got lured by the smell of fresh pastry in the morning came to drink an evening coffe and eat another cornero as well. Poorly delicious.

24/01/2026: It's a nice place, but you have to wait for a table; you can't sit down right away. The waiter forgot to bring ketchup and mayonnaise, and there weren't enough cups. The pizza didn't take long to arrive; it was very large and delicious. The restroom is small and littered with junk, but there's a changing table. The checkout counter sells expired cookies, but they say they messed up the date.

15/02/2026: At the lady's recommendation, we chose the house antipasti, traditional local dishes, truly appetizing and fresh. Then came the cavatelli with chunky ragù and an entrecote with fried potatoes. These dishes also exceeded our expectations. The service was very friendly and attentive. 02/03/2026: Authentic hospitality and flavors rich with life, Lucanian soil, and history. We've been to Nonna Rosa several times because we've fallen in love with it. The kindness is boundless, and the delicious recipes make you feel at home. The place is welcoming and makes you feel at home. We've eaten several times on different menus, from first courses to second courses and side dishes. Baked terracotta terrines, orecchiette and turnips, orecchiette with pork ragù, parmigiana, cod, veal, bread and meatballs. Homemade desserts. Every day is an invitation to experience Basilicata as if it were a Sunday with your family. Thank you!

09/09/2025: I've been going to this place for at least 15 years: everything is good, and it's a quiet place that everyone can enjoy. The only downside is that, since it's often very crowded, Enzo (the owner) sometimes forgets to serve you at your table. Overall, I recommend everyone to come to this bar and pastry shop: it's truly excellent!

The owners, Benito, his mother, and Carmelo, were all incredibly helpful and kind, accommodating every request, even the most unexpected, making us feel at home. The traditional local dishes were spectacular and of the highest quality, all prepared locally. The property, surrounded by greenery, made our stay truly unique. We'll definitely be back!

Making everything even more special was Donato's kindness and impeccable attention in the dining room, making you feel like you were at the center of a complete sensory experience. 04/10/2025: What a treasure in Matera. Beautiful delicious food, pretty setting, friendly and attentive service. Great value, too. Loved the wine pairings and the concept of being able to assemble your own tasting menu. Chef is in the kitchen himself. The Michelin star is well deserved.

10/03/2026: This is a common take-away pasta place. They prepare pasta in the morning and sell them till evening so nothing wastes. The pasta is tasty, versions are interesting. 1 portion for 1 euro. Its a must visit for low-cost travelers

05/11/2025: I stopped by chance for a quick lunch. The place is beautiful and accessible. There's ample street parking and an adjacent parking lot. The food is excellent, and the service is indeed fast and excellent. Perhaps the initial impression could have been better, in the sense that having never been there before, I wasn't sure how it worked. They didn't neglect me; I just arrived at peak traffic. That's why I wrote MAYBE. Of course, during peak times, one can put in all their effort, but it still becomes difficult. Excellent work. I'll definitely return every time I'm in the area.

04/01/2026: A grill and restaurant in the heart of Melfi. The staff is incredibly courteous and polite. The meats are high-quality, cooked to perfection. I'd gladly return, even just to enjoy the delicious bruschetta.
