Lanterna Verde, in the heart of Trecchina, is a place that manages to combine the welcoming atmosphere of an osteria with the attention to detail of a restaurant and the versatility of a pizzeria. The menu is wide and varied, with carefully presented dishes and an almost gourmet touch, making the experience enjoyable from the very first glance. The portions aren't particularly generous, but the quality more than makes up for it. I didn't have the chance to try the pizza, but watching it being passed around the tables nearby, it looked truly inviting, well-leavened and packed with fresh ingredients. I opted for the meat, which was tender and flavorful, accompanied by simple but well-prepared side dishes. The cod fillet was also excellent, tender, delicate, and cooked with great balance of flavors. The deconstructed cake served at the end of the meal was a pleasant surprise, delicious without being heavy. The service was courteous and helpful, with attentive but never intrusive staff. Overall, Lanterna Verde is a place worth a visit: a refined restaurant with well-crafted dishes and a relaxing atmosphere. It deserves four stars, and I'm eager to return to finally try the pizza.
