18/09/2025: Also open for lunch with a set menu or à la carte. Found by chance, but located on a main road with easy parking. The themed atmosphere is well-curated; I found the place clean and tidy. Excellent selection of beers and a wide variety of wines. The house Cerasuolo is also good. Excellent welcome, fast service, excellent prices. We'll be back in twenty. 5 well-deserved stars

21/08/2025: And so, after a first and overall positive experience dating back to last summer, a few days ago we returned to Gino's and were once again generally satisfied 👍. Arriving at 8:30 pm 🕣, a little earlier than our reservation time 📱 (i.e. 8:45 pm), we were cordially greeted by a waiter 🧑🏻 who accompanied us to our table, this time set inside at the back of the room (in June we had dined on the veranda). Having already booked 📞 the Florentine steak 🥩 to ensure availability (last time we were "forced" to settle for an excellent rib-eye steak), we basically just browsed the wine list 📋 🍷, paying some attention. From this point of view, in fact, our first experience here wasn't a very happy one 🙄, since we ordered, moreover on the waiter's advice 🧔🏻, a wine 🍷 that we didn't like at all 👎. The latter, a French Syrah 🇫🇷 for a whopping 40 euros 💶 a bottle, unfortunately gave off a very strong smell of brine, which the waiter 🧔🏻 had warned us about in advance (I emphasize this for the sake of fairness), which in the long run, however, proved unbearable. I say "in the long run" because, during tasting, the smell seemed to me tolerable overall compared to the otherwise decent flavor. This time, however, again on the staff's suggestion, we opted for a Dolcetto D'Alba which, while pleasant, didn't thrill us (especially considering the 30 euros 💶 cost of the bottle). What I've said so far certainly attests to my complete ineptitude as a taster 😅 but, perhaps, also to a certain general "bad luck" linked to the fact of not being able to find the right wine, let's put it that way. For the rest, the "Florentine" 🥩 (a 1.2 kg cut) was impeccable 👌, as was the rib-eye steak we ordered with it (for three people it seemed like a good solution). To complete the order, we also had two liters of water 💧, grilled porcini/chanterelle mushrooms, potatoes 🥔 garnished with a sauce and snow peas sprinkled with cheese 🧀). The mushrooms were truly delicious 😋 and delicate, perhaps the best I've ever tasted, but the green beans were certainly worthy of note too. To conclude, three desserts (cheesecake 🍰, figs with ricotta ice cream, and grilled pineapple 🍍) and two coffees ☕ at the end of the meal, which were also undoubtedly good. Good value considering we spent a total of 222 euros 💶 (so 74 each). The staff 🧑🏻🧔🏻 were kind and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, thanks in part to the perfectly chosen theme. The bathrooms 🚾 were clean and tidy 🚽🧻🧴. For us, it's a guarantee, so I RECOMMEND IT 👍. 16/08/2025: Perfect hospitality – we were lucky enough to be able to reserve a table. In the glorious summer ambiance, we enjoyed the wonderful view from the terrace overlooking the hills of Corno di Rosazzo. The beautifully set table (with cloth napkins!) aroused anticipation for the following culinary experience. Our recommendation for the cold starter (antipasto) was a salad with sautéed chanterelle mushrooms, and the warm starter (primo) was a pasta made from Sarceno (buckwheat) with flavorful beef. You can only find it in Italy: seemingly simple, yet unique. For the main course (secondo) in this renowned meat temple, we chose "Bife de chorizo," an Argentinian sirloin steak, grilled whole to medium-rare, served with oven-baked potato wedges. Wonderful, just the perfect amount for two, wonderfully tender and flavorful! The service and the host, Francisco, were prompt and friendly! Everything was perfect, the homemade sorbetti (plum and pear) emphasized the special status of the house. Sparkling wine and wine from the owner's Perusini winery. The price was right. Oil from Parovel in Trieste! I couldn't think of anything better. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience with you. Best regards, Christian da Villaco
16/08/2025: A renovated farmhouse overlooking the Collio vineyards. Sit down with your dog in the shade of a kiwi tree. Francisco, the host with a heart of gold, and the staff are professional and courteous. Crostini with melt-in-the-mouth lard, a rare Florentine steak that cuts like butter, and an excellent Merlot. The millefeuille with berries and the homemade emulsifier sorbet are noteworthy. Prices are in line with the quality of the food offered. Thank you, Francisco, and see you next time!

Friendly, professional, and fast service. The place needs some work (wobbly tables and chairs), but I'd say people come here for the food. Highly recommended!

14/10/2025: A very spacious, welcoming, and well-organized place. The staff is fast, knowledgeable, and extremely kind, always attentive to their customers. We had two pizzas: a Margherita and one with sausage and chard. Amazing! Light and fluffy dough, selected, high-quality ingredients. We also opted for a portion of baked potatoes, which were truly fantastic. The menu is full of options, both restaurant and pizzeria, offering customers a wide range of choices. So, in any case, you're in the right place!

The service was impeccable: the waiters were professional and attentive to the customers' needs, truly excellent! The atmosphere is charming and well-kept. There's also a very comfortable outdoor space.

11/10/2025: Very nice, we ate outside On October 9th, completely out of season. The charcuterie and cheese platter was outrageous, the mixed grill with side dishes was delicious, the price was more than fair, and the service was excellent.
03/10/2025: I returned for the second time, hoping for a better experience, but unfortunately, disappointment returned, and this time will be the last. The first visit (a business lunch) had already left much to be desired: The tagliata was tiny, with just six leaves of arugula and two shavings of parmesan—really poor value for money. The olive oil and salt, served in anonymous single portions in a sad little bowl, aren't up to par for a place that serves à la carte. The only positive note was the panna cotta, which was delicious and well-made. The mixed salad ordered separately was a disproportionate portion (for 5-6 people) and essentially only "green" vegetables, without any variety to justify the name "mixed salad." Despite this, I decided to give it a second chance. This time, I ordered an Angus fillet with potatoes, meaning any potato side dish (baked, spiced, etc.). Instead, I was served fries that didn't meet my expectations or what was clearly stated elsewhere on the menu (where, in fact, it says "fries"). When I pointed this out, the waitresses—unprofessional and very hasty—sent me off, claiming that on the menu, "potatoes" means fries. I would have expected at least an apology or a small gesture (a discount, a modicum of attention). Instead, even when it came to the bill, the cashier showed complete indifference, dismissing me quickly and without even a hint of displeasure. In conclusion: mediocre quality, poorly sized portions, unprofessional service, and no customer service. I'm giving two stars only for the panna cotta and the raw meat, but I certainly won't be returning a third time.
