24/06/2025: The perfect B&B as a base for visiting the area. Very well-kept and clean structure, large rooms with very comfortable beds, located in a quiet area although along the state road. Abundant, varied and not insignificant breakfast, with homemade products. Andrea, the manager, is a very welcoming and friendly person who will always be able to provide excellent advice for itineraries to do in the area.

06/07/2025: Found by chance as a stopover along the route from Lombardy to Calabria. Pleasant place, very clean and fresh rooms, beautiful garden surrounded by olive and chestnut trees, nice pool. Excellent dinner served by the very friendly owner assisted by two exceptional collaborators, Michele and Pasquale, who deserve a special mention. The nearby Certosa di San Lorenzo is worth a visit, an unexpected architectural jewel.

20/07/2025: The welcome we received upon entering wasn't the best, partly due to the rain. As soon as we entered, they stopped us on the steps in a very authoritative tone, telling us not to go inside (honestly, I would have liked to take a peek inside, having never been there). They then escorted us to a table where the awning only covered two of the four seats. I pointed out that it was raining and it would be appropriate to move tables, but they very firmly told me NO and that they didn't think it was raining anymore (I should point out that the table next to us had to move their chairs to shelter). Okay, maybe they were a little nervous... in any case, the evening was very pleasant. The outdoor "garden" was very welcoming and softly lit. The wine list was interesting, and the food was well-presented and of excellent quality. The grilled meat deserves praise. The ingredients were excellent, and the cooking was even more so. It was served exactly as I requested. To finish, an excellent selection of fruit sorbets was served, presented in their original consistency. At the end of the evening, Alessandro, the owner, was very kind and friendly. I would suggest a warmer welcome at the reception and perhaps trying to accommodate guests' requests more. Prices are in line with the quality of the food. I will definitely return and recommend it.

19/06/2025: All in all good, prices a little high but magnificent location. from a location like this, and from quality food I expected a higher level of service. Not that it was terrible, on the contrary, just that from a place like this and from the food they serve I expected a service a little more attentive and professional.

18/06/2025: Suggestive environment for the presence of many antiques. Very varied menu starting from appetizers to desserts. I recommend it both for the atmosphere and for the quality of the dishes.

10/07/2025: I go to the double malt to drink a beer or two and eat something good from chicken to pork ribs, they have added new dishes... to try, the atmosphere is perfect both alone and in company (board games available)... sometimes they do karaoke and there should still be a pool table... Before or after the cinema or the gym ideal place

08/07/2025: We dined at this lovely restaurant, enticed by the positive reviews, and our expectations were quite high. The atmosphere is truly welcoming, and the waitress was very kind and cheerful. Out of curiosity, we ordered the famous meat rolls: Popcorn, Truffle, and Mortadella. I must admit, each roll costs €8-9 for four small pieces (which is fine), but we weren't expecting such tiny pieces. Plus, the horsemeat rolls were almost tasteless...perhaps the flavor of the toppings was overwhelming. The fried polenta with stracciatella was the same: tiny pieces and a simple flavor for the price. To follow, we ordered two summer risottos with beef tartare, lime, and fried breadcrumbs, and I must admit, it was a lovely dish, fresh and substantial, but the lime overpowered the flavor of the meat (alas). What most pleasantly surprised us were the diaphragm and the steak (from Germany): EXQUISITE! The desserts were unusual, but not exceptional for my taste. A great experience. We were curious to try this place, but in my opinion the prices are excessive for the quantity. Sometimes the gourmet dishes are spectacular but don't satisfy the palate as expected (and I try plenty of meat restaurants). Well done, though, for your ability to distinguish yourself and introduce you to new dishes and combinations. I'll be back to try other things. :)

31/07/2025: We went to eat at Restaurant Locanda Italia. An excellent place that I highly recommend. Many foods are cooked over a wood fire (meat, vegetables, lasagna, etc.). We ate the best lasagna of our lives. All the products are local and of high quality. The servers were welcoming, smiling and took the time to present the products. Best restaurants after 2 weeks of vacation. Very good value for money!
