We arrived at Crepuscolo and the owner told us there was no reservation in my name, that perhaps I had chosen the wrong restaurant, and that there was no room. Atmosphere is very well thought out, beautiful decor, very comfortable and well spaced tables allowing discretion, with just the right amount of lighting without being overbearing. Even the bathrooms are exquisitely decorated and clinically clean! Service: Paolo is a truly welcoming host, very professional, and is always available for any advice... He also knows his trade, and therefore is capable of understanding client requirements to select the right cuts of meat! Food : we had a massive t bone to share... Aged for 75 days, and cooked to perfection... One of the best ever! A totally positive and memorable experience! It is a pity we are only on holiday here as this restaurant would be the top of our list if we lived here!

I find all this very transparent and pleasant! We tried a tartare with parmesan shavings, egg yolk, and caramelized onion (EXCELLENT). The "bagase" with lard and raw ham on top (FANTASTIC). A tagliata with a side of jacket potatoes (VERY GOOD). The ribs with a side of baked potatoes. The baked potatoes are spectacular, but I personally wasn't satisfied with the ribs. I found them a bit fatty; I chewed them and the meatballs were in my mouth, making it difficult to swallow. For wine, a red Roero, which pairs perfectly with the meat. We'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it to you too!

We visited as a group of five — including one child and two grandparents — and planned to share a couple of pastas, a Florentine steak, and a couple of sides. Instead of accommodating this, the server pushed to bring “equal portions” of both pastas for all five people. We were never told this would increase the cost so dramatically, and the two pastas alone ended up totaling about €100. It felt more like an upsell than genuine guidance. The food itself was underwhelming. Our Florentine steak was bland and noticeably under-seasoned — especially disappointing after watching the same server present another table’s steak with salt sprinkled alongside the meat. The inconsistency was hard to overlook. There was also no coperto listed, and the server made a direct comment that came across as soliciting a tip, which is not customary in Italy and felt uncomfortable. Overall, the unexpected pricing, upselling tactics, bland food, inconsistent presentation, and pressure for a tip made this a disappointing visit. Two stars for the ambiance, but we would not return.
