28/03/2026: We celebrated our daughter's first birthday here on March 22, 2026, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The location is enchanting and meticulously maintained; the fireplace in the entrance creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. The dishes were truly excellent, unique and original, impeccably presented. Every course left a special memory, and we still receive compliments from our guests today. Furthermore, we always had the option of second helpings for every course, a much-appreciated detail. The staff was helpful and attentive, ensuring excellent service. A special thanks to Martina: always present, extremely professional, and able to immediately understand our tastes. A place we absolutely recommend trying! Thanks again ❤️

Sergio demonstrates extraordinary mastery in the kitchen: carefully prepared dishes, top-quality ingredients, and flavors that express the region with elegance and respect. Antonella in the dining room is simply impeccable: welcoming, professional, attentive to every detail. She makes you feel like a guest, not a customer. What's truly striking is the perfect balance between: • absolute quality of the ingredients • true professionalism • authentic atmosphere • attentive but never intrusive service You can clearly sense that behind this place are years of experience, passion, and dedication. 17/01/2026: I went with a friend, intrigued after seeing tons of photos on social media. It's a modern restaurant with about ten parking spaces. Perhaps a little too small, as there was a smoking area inside due to the grills on the tables. We opted for the Taste Menu for €79 per person, which included a French fry with truffle and a bottle of Valpolicella red. Overall, the dinner was perfect and tasty. We left the restaurant feeling really full, so I recommend this menu if you have room for more. ;) Reservations are absolutely essential; it was Monday night and the restaurant was packed. Despite having made a reservation, we waited 10 minutes past our reserved time.

The quality of the food and meat is excellent, and it's impossible not to finish without the famous cantucciomisú. Without a doubt, the best meat restaurant in the area!!

08/04/2026: We visited Chiostro degli Scolopi and the experience was excellent in every way. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, with great attention to local, zero-mile products. The homemade breads are among the best we've ever tasted, as are the fried meatballs, simple yet perfect. The artichoke puree and crispy crumble, enriched with a high-quality olive oil, are also excellent. The sagne torte with free-range rooster ragù deserves a special mention: handmade pasta and authentic flavors. The beef tartare is fresh and well-balanced. The absolute highlight is the steak: over 1200 grams, presented and prepared in front of the guests, cooked to perfection and accompanied by a selection of salts that further enhance the meat. Impeccable service and an extremely kind and helpful owner. Highly recommended for those seeking Salento tradition with an innovative twist.

07/04/2026: We dined here on Easter Monday. We only realized afterwards that many families would be eating in the restaurant on Easter Monday, rather than in the evening. We had reserved in advance for the evening. Despite the fact that Antonio and his team had been busy all afternoon, they still took the trouble to welcome us. We were the only guests and were spoiled culinarily with homemade bread, focaccia, and a delicious amuse-bouche featuring very tasty aubergine with a lovely, firm texture. The spaghetti al noci was top-notch, as were the osso buco and the lamb shanks, all enjoyed with a glass of red wine from Manduria. We declined dessert. 10/01/2026: We spent a few days in Pistoia for the Christmas holidays, and on the evening of January 1st, craving a nice Florentine steak, we stumbled upon this typical trattoria. They offer a fixed-price menu, which I recommend, which includes mixed appetizers, a Florentine steak of a weight appropriate for the number of guests, three side dishes, and a dessert. Drinks are not included. The owner, like the staff, is incredibly welcoming. You can tell they really care about explaining the quality and provenance of the meat. Oh! By the way, aside from appetizers and side dishes: THEY ONLY EAT MEAT! It's a real steakhouse; they don't do first courses, they don't do fish... What a steak, folks! Served on piping hot plates so it doesn't get cold, and cut at the table by the owner himself. The only flaw: they served us French meat. Good, tender, but not the most flavorful. I would have preferred local meat. Anyway, I recommend it. It's worth it.

06/01/2026: This traditional Tuscan restaurant is located on Via Sant'Andrea in Pistoia, in a beautiful medieval building restored with exposed brick and stone. Enjoy fabulous grilled meats and traditional dishes with tasty crostini, excellent cured meats, side dishes, and appetizers, accompanied by a wide selection of white and red wines. The owners, with great professionalism and kindness, recommend these wines, turning a simple dinner into a truly exquisite culinary experience. The restaurant is truly beautiful, meticulously maintained, and fantastic for photographs. Excellent in every way! The food, wines, hospitality, and sophistication. Recommended restaurant!

08/04/2026: We came Don Angus by surprise when looking for a last minute dinner. It surprised us in the best way possible by the excellent grilled steak, chicken and sausage which you get to select yourself and chose how you want the streak cooked via a conversation with the chef when you enter. The food was excellent and great value. We had the house red wine which was by far the best we had during our 6 day holiday to Puglia. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Many thanks for a beautiful meal for me, my wife and two daughters.

08/04/2026: We were there last night and it's simply heaven on earth for meat lovers. We ordered shashlik skewers and it was fantastic. I loved the concept of choosing your meat from the refrigerated display and then adding the side dishes at your table. The charismatic owner, who's behind the counter himself, makes it even better. Highly recommended.

02/03/2026: Arriving for a business dinner, we found ourselves in a phenomenal setting, which made the evening wonderful. Not only is it a pleasant, traditional place, with the option of a table near the kitchen, allowing you to see everything and meet the chef. The wine list and menu are extensive, full of traditional dishes.
