My favorite restaurant in Florence ❤️ a must try if you want to try the local steak that everyone talks about, I recommend getting the “couples menu” that includes a platter of local Italian cuts and cheeses and a lovely t bone steak with potatoes for the main course. Went there 2 nights in a row for our stay! Super sweet staff too

I went here as part of a “Florentine steak experience”. I got help choosing my own steak (all diners do), but also had the opportunity to go into the kitchen and learn how to cook it. My host, Oliver, provided a lot of information about what makes Florentine steak so special- and delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is fun and familial, the food (not just my steak) was fantastic. Truly a gem!

The place is very nice and the cameriere was very attentive. The food is delicious, however I feel that it was lacking because perhaps my expectations were higher. The bathrooms are far below; It seems that they are for use by the staff, perhaps so but it takes away a lot from the atmosphere of the place.

Cucina tradizionale di alto livello, atmosfera rustica e simpatia. Pranzo perfetto se non fosse stato per alcuni inghippi: promesse quattro salsicce sul menù, arrivate tre. Promesse le patate al forno con le salsicce, arrivato un piattino di verdura. Ordinate patate fritte di contorno per la bistecca, arrivate patate al forno. Certo un po’ troppe scivolate “inspiegabili” (a meno che non si voglia pensar male) per un locale che si fa pagare così bene per i suoi servigi. Comunque la bistecca era strepitosa.

con amici fiorentini. ci sono ristoranti che si dicono osterie/trattorie anche se non lo sono ed invece ristoranti tradizionali come questo che senza pavoneggiarsi ti offrono un'esperienza di sostanza
