11/08/2024: returned after many years and with new management by RARE, to celebrate the 40th of a person dear to me, I was pleasantly surprised from the beginning. Large car park, breathtaking view, luxury location with an infinite number of tables and seats to dine with a panoramic view of the strait. Among other things, the place owes its name to the two pylons that years ago connected Sicily and Calabria for the transport of electricity. They are now abandoned, but illuminated and create a pleasant nocturnal effect. as regards the service, nothing to complain about....courteous and knowledgeable staff (nothing to do with the improvisation of many places in the city). Another point in favor is the food....if at first glance the prices might seem a little high, and for those who often complain in the reviews, we must take into account the great quality of every single dish that was offered to us... (if instead you want to spend 2 money and eat so-so.... you can always celebrate at the MC on the ring road with the queue of cars as a panorama ;) ) What else to say.....magnificent and successful evening....far beyond my expectations and that of the birthday girl....the charm of the view overlooking the Strait alone is worth the money you spend!!! If you have an important event and/or a loved one to celebrate and you want to make them happy and make a great impression on the guests, well I can't help but recommend this place.

The wine list is excellent, especially regarding the area of ​​Tarquinia and upper Lazio in general. The staff is attentive and professional but not cold, in fact, even though we hadn't booked, they made us feel immediately at ease. The restaurant is famous for its fish dishes but I also recommend the Tonnarelli carbonara, simply fantastic! The bill depends a lot on what you order, personally I found the cost to be consistent with what was requested. Absolutely recommended, we will be back!

10/07/2024: Taking advantage of a Sunday to visit Palazzo Farnese (very beautiful and worthy) we stopped to eat in this hostaria located in a narrow street in the historic center of Caprarola. Cozy, rustic, fresh and clean place. Fresh and quality food. The hazelnut griciarola and the cured meats for the starters are excellent. Courteous and kind staff.... Super recommended!!!!!!
