01/07/2026: My friends and I came to Mar Dolomit and discovered some exceptional speck dumplings. Soft, tasty, and authentic: the best we've tasted in Ortisei. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service friendly. We'll definitely be back!

01/07/2026: This year too, I visited Mike, the owner of Mar Dolomit: a wonderful welcome, attentive and very polite staff, and delicious dishes: canederli, potato gnocchi, Storo polenta, and melted cheese and porcini mushrooms. Excellent price. A sure thing in Ortisei, see you next time.

05/07/2026: This is the best goulash I've ever eaten! The grilled pork chop was also truly excellent, and the French fries won everyone over. Unfortunately, we arrived a little late and weren't able to try all the dishes we'd have liked, especially since the portions are so generous! It's really hard to find a restaurant that offers better value than this one. I highly recommend it!

22/06/2026: I went to this restaurant for pizza. The pizza looked very inviting, but I had a bit of a hard time digesting it. Otherwise, the atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were friendly.

20/06/2026: What a huge disappointment! When I pulled off the highway to a restaurant that was listed on Google Maps as open until 8:00 PM, it was actually closed. Dear owners, it's not enough to just stick a sign on the closed door. Respect your customers' time and money and update your restaurant's listing! I don't recommend taking the risk and pulling over like I did.

The pizza was delicious, and the drinks menu, with its spritz variations, offers a welcome change from the standard beverages. The service was very personal, attentive, and professional. The seating area in a quiet alley is very pleasant.

08/07/2026: I was there for lunch on Monday with my daughter. I had a truly excellent eggplant parmigiana. The service was attentive and friendly. The place and outdoor space were lovely.

06/06/2026: This is a fantastic town, and the hotel is highly recommended. Located in the old town, the rooms are spacious, new, and well-equipped, offering excellent value for money! It boasts its own long-established, five-star restaurant; pairing local specialties with the town's renowned monastery white wine is simply divine. I recommend the northern specialty, Tyrolean Tris (meatballs), and the seasonal white asparagus soup, all served with the monastery's white wine. The pizzas are also famous, with a wide variety to choose from, and a glass of Gasslbräu Hell pale beer is absolutely perfect! Oh, and their breakfast is also very generous!

14/06/2026: This place is a hidden gem that provides great food and views!!! We had lunch here. The Knödel was so delicious, although the soup was a little bit too salty to my palate. The schlutzkrapfen was decent as well. We also had chocolate dumplings as desserts; they were fantastic. The vibe was extremely chill, and the stuff super friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!!!

24/06/2026: For us, Ansitz Romani is without doubt one of the most beautiful places in Tramin. The hotel has a very special atmosphere, calm, stylish and personal. You immediately feel that this house is run with great care, taste and attention to detail. Our room was beautifully furnished, very clean and high quality, with exactly the right mix of historic charm and modern comfort. The garden and natural pool are also wonderful. It is the perfect place to arrive, slow down and enjoy the surroundings of Tramin in peace. We would especially like to mention the warm hospitality. The whole team was attentive, friendly and very uncomplicated. We also felt genuinely welcome with our dog at all times. The breakfast was excellent, fresh, regional and beautifully served at the table. The restaurant is also absolutely worth recommending. The cuisine is creative, high quality and still pleasantly unpretentious. For us, every meal was a real highlight. Ansitz Romani is not just a hotel, but a place with soul. For us, it is the best hotel in Tramin and a place we would very happily return to.

22/06/2026: A fantastic hotel in a dream location. Historic walls have been transformed into a stunning hotel complex. It boasts a heated pool, fantastic gardens, and a tranquil courtyard. The restaurant (awarded Michelin stars/Gault&Millau toques) leaves nothing to be desired. The herbs come from the hotel's own garden. We prefer the larger suites in the new building to the historic apartments (which are scheduled for renovation soon). Numerous other bars, cafés, restaurants, and wineries invite you to linger, taste wine, and shop. All are just a short walk or drive away. The magnificent cities of Bolzano and Trento are only about a 45-minute drive (but also easily accessible by public transport). A vast network of cycling and hiking trails winds through the vineyards and along the wine route around Tramin. A hidden gem for wine lovers: explore the numerous wineries around Tramin, Auer, Neumarkt, Kaltern, Eppan, and other nearby towns.
