07/04/2024: Title: Ambivalent experience in the Gerda inn
My visit to Gasthaus Gerda was a mixture of ups and downs. Although the landlord seemed a bit grumpy, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly landlady Gerda, which left a positive impression.
The rice pudding I ordered was quite well prepared and a pleasant treat. The consistency was creamy and it had a pleasant taste that met my expectations.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the excellent tartare. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and the spices were perfectly balanced. It was definitely a dish I would recommend to anyone.
Overall, my visit to Gasthaus Gerda was a mixed experience. Although the grumpy landlord dampened the mood a little, the friendly landlady Gerda and the delicious food became a bright spot.

12/02/2024: The Goulash Soup was really good. French Fries and all others were average.
05/02/2024: I waited 55 minutes for my order to be taken. 5 minutes later, the food came (before drinking) which made me more upset because I usually want to drink a sip before eating. The food wasn't that good. The potatoes were extremely strangely seasoned. In summary, I would say that next time I go to Watles I would rather bring my own food.

20/08/2023: Valentina la proprietaria è una persona di altri tempi, gentil, educata e disponibile oltre misura! Ci siamo sentiti a casa e con un gruppo di 20 persone di cui 10 bambini/ragazzi non è per niente scontato! Siamo tornati due volte a cena ma dobbiamo sicuramente tornare per assaggiare il suo strudel che promette grandi cose!! Cibo ottimo e prezzi giusti. Complimenti a tutto lo staff👏🏻
06/08/2023: Op vakantie in Pfunds en we regenden daar een beetje weg. En route naar Italië om Graun en de Reschensee te zien. Heerlijke spaghetti, knoflooksoep en strudel gegeten! Echt top bediening en een schitterende entourage in de vorm van Bella, een charmante honden-dame op leeftijd ❤️

21/08/2023: Family-run pension, simple and spacious rooms with a beautiful view of Burgusio, with all the comforts, fridge, safe, sofa, the cuisine is made of excellent raw materials, the owner and his wife are a truly special couple and equally special is their treatment which have with the customer, the only flaw is the e-bike charging is not very convenient in the evening, with all the space they have available I would use the internal space better maybe next year they will improve the service, already booked for 2024...highly recommended for soon Fam.Thoni Ricard and Creta thanks for everything you are unique

Large, bright, beautiful room.
Perhaps it is time to review the photographs that date back some time and are missing some important information.
Breakfast: abundant, but with little choice.
Dinner: the varied vegetable buffet is a ready-made bowl.
But, even in summer, dinner is at 6.30pm, dinner is finished at 7.30pm and everything is closed at 8pm. If you arrive late from a longer excursion than usual, dinner is served quickly, and at 7.35 - 7.40 pm, good night (2 hours until sunset).
Logically the dinner is without choice and without prior information of what will be prepared.
The price is competitive, but on Wednesdays (closed day) there is no dinner (even in high season).
Luckily we found a restaurant nearby and for the last few days we had B&B instead of half board (at the same price: B&B + restaurant).
1
