01/04/2024: We were only there to eat.
The ambience as often in Kaltern: behind thick walls, a bit rustic but nice.
The food is really good quality but you also pay for it! The main courses (gold bream and Tyrolean roast) were really great. Unfortunately, the dessert was a bit disappointing: the apple strudel came from the refrigerator in the microwave to our table. Likewise the blueberry tarts which turned out to be blueberry cake.
The service was absolutely praiseworthy! From the boss to the youngest member of the team

Dogs are very welcome.
Right on the market square in beautiful Kaltern.
The breakfast was very tasty and varied. Small buffet plus coffee, sausage, cheese, jam... Delivered as requested. Mostly homemade.
Rooms always clean and made every day.
There is an elevator from the parking lot to the rooms.
That would be really nice, thank you for the great time.

08/12/2023: Posto pazzesco, ci siamo trovati lí quasi per caso. Atmosfera meravigliosa, tutti super gentili, musica dal vivo, accoglienza top. Canederli molto buoni. Consigliato
29/11/2023: Dopo numerosi tentativi siamo riusciti a trovare posto in questo locale che è andato oltre le aspettative: il posto è molto curato (un plauso all'arredatore) e il servizio gentile, attento e informale il giusto. Sul cibo nulla da dire, c'era il menù per i Torggelen e abbiamo mangiato solo cose ottime e abbondanti, tanto da dimenticare il dolce...ma per fortuna ci hanno fermati prima di uscire e ce lo siamo gustati. Uno spettacolo i vini che sono di produzione propria; ne abbiamo prese due bottiglie per ricordare a casa... Il prezzo è assolutamente corretto, con meno di 40€ a testa si esce supercontenti!

23/10/2023: Der alte traditionelle Keller vom " Turm" ist gut gefüllt: man wird sehr speditiv bedient, Preis- Leistung stimmt. Atmosphäre bieder, altmodisch, Essen gut. Schade: es gibt keinen jungen Wein, Hauswein Lagrein nur im Fuss, nicht zu kaufen.. :(
05/09/2023: Leider haben wir vor dem Besuch dieses Restaurants nicht die ganzen negativen Bewertungen gelesen, die leider alle zu 100% berechtigt sind. Über das Essen lässt sich sicherlich streiten: Unser Essen war ebenfalls sehr schnell da, aber es war alles in allem in Ordnung. Mit Pizza macht man hier zumindest nicht wirklich viel falsch. Auch das Rumpsteak war ok.
Was wirklich schlimm und nicht tragbar war: Es gibt einen kleinen Kellner (der ausweislich der sonstigen Bewertungen offenbar mehrfach aufgefallen ist), der nicht nur unverschämt sondern offen aggressiv auftritt. Und dies - das muss man sich mal vor Augen führen - sogar gegenüber Kindern! Das habe ich in dieser Form noch nie erlebt. Rumschreien, mit erhobener Faust zeternd durch die Gegend gehen. Unfassbar. Ein Hinweis ggü. der Geschäftsleitung wurde damit beantwortet, dass „er leider immer so sei“. Gut zu wissen - wir kommen nie wieder. Bitte meiden!

20/11/2023: Ladri! 5,5 Euro per una bottiglia da litro di acqua. Non lo se se c'era scritto anche nel menù ma il concetto non cambia. Manco in un ristorante stellato. Peccato perché sarebbe un bel locale in un bel posto. Strudel così così, buono il toast, un po' piccolo considerando il costo di 7 Euro. Forse solo in Piazza San Marco a Venezia è più caro.
19/11/2023: Unico posto aperto a Caldaro, nonostante sia molto frequentato anche in autunno. Strudel per niente buono, con impasto inesistente, toast buoni. Paghiamo e sullo scontrino troviamo 5,50 euro per 1 litro di acqua! Certi che ci sia stato un errore, lo segnaliamo alla cassiera, che ci conferma invece che il prezzo è corretto. Credo che la cosa si commenti da sola: non c'è alcuna giustificazione per un prezzo del genere per dell'acqua. Vergognatevi.
